No more Tova, Jenna, and Jessica ruling the media questions like they did under Ardern and Labour. Good on Winston for putting them in their place.
Agree
Thanks. I pray that this coalition works. We don't want another election within 3 years. @@chivomartinez
agreed ... the taxpayer funded leftist media needs to be defunded immediately ... the level of journalism is like a 4 year old child
Did read in media how the second big solar farm activity opened this month. Sheep operation will continue, and 55 gwh will be produced. Achieve under Labour's watch. Planning laws can't be that bad they need changing.
Sorry I don't quite follow.@@adsdft585
This result makes me proud to be a New Zealander. A mature approach, a return of common sense, policies founded upon fundamental principles that are in the best interest of all New Zealanders, all guided by what appears to be a cohesive leadership team. Well done gentlemen.
pffft
@@irondragon6423 ‘irondragon6423’ nice one
@@irondragon6423Can you elaborate on your pfft? Whats so pffft about cracking down on crime? It's been rampant under liebour.
Agreed. Each of the three parties have got their own priorities and ideas about how to best achieve goals, but I think they are fundamentally all pointing in the same direction with the same goals.
The reduction of laws to protect employees is not in the interests of NZ.
YES Winston for foreign affairs minister. Finally we have an articulate, intelligent man who can represent us overseas and make us proud. He is knowledgeable in foreign affairs and his experience in dealing with his counterparts in other countries will restore our reputation in this area 🙏❤
Can't agree more, he actually knows his stuff, and this job is so important now for New Zealand. To finally have someone experienced and as you say, articulate and intelligent back in the role after three years is a huge relief. He's been an outstanding foreign minister twice already, and I'm looking forward to seeing him in action again.
Agreed. He's an excellent foreign affairs minister, whether you like the bloke or not. Mature and wise which is important for a role like that.
Winston is suppose to retire. The retirement age is 67. Their for they are a pack of liers .
Well I'm impressed. Commonsense approach by all three. Winston doesn't suffer fools gladly. All three seem a good choice together. A good hope for NZ
commonsense ? the wants to destroy the treaty and the rights of indeginous people. Ask yourself why is it that only in colonised countries do the indeginous people have to take a backseat to their mother land ?
Very happy seeing these three men leading our country.
Winston with his experience, wisdom and no nonsense attitude.
Young David with his ideas and the good values.
And Christopher to lead and pull it all together.
There is hope for NZ.
good values ? he wants to destroy the treaty and the rights of indeginous people. Ask yourself why is it that only in colonised countries do the indeginous people have to take a backseat to their mother land ?
Making English an Official Language of New Zealand is a Good Policy.
Dunno why people get so annoyed with a 3-party coalition.
This is what democracy looks like, we’re shifting away from a 2-party system and smaller parties are getting votes, diversifying our government and its policy, creating more discussion and points of view. Everyone complained about the 2-party system until their own party didn’t make it in lol
😊 The best Political Outcome in my lifetime! CONGRATULATIONS to these Three Wise Men.
You must be very young¡@@@@@
The media in this country is out the gate...
right not once did they over the coalition wanting to destroy the treaty and the rights of indeginous people with treaty referendum, the abolishment of cogovernance and the taking of NZ out of the united nations decleration of indeginous rights
let's hope their 55 million gets pulled back
*I love Winston's no-nonsense reply -
We don't answer 'stupid' questions!
These 3 guys are very aligned with other and there was no bickering or anything. I noticed a lot of respect between them especially between Chris and Winston (Chris pulled Winston’s chair out for him as well). The last 3 weeks of negotiations have really built a good relationship and respect between them as they got to know each other.
It took a long time as the parties are not very aligned on many issues.
This video gives me hope for NZ. These 3 seem like they have their heads screwed on. Nothing left to do but wait and see! CHEEEHOOOOO
So REFRESHING !!!. Now its time for a CLEAN OUT within the MEDIA!! . Ive got to the stage where I can hardly watch the news or read a newspaper !!
Well nothing will change, mark my words
the media will never tell you that the coalition policies to destroy the treaty and the rights of indeginous people with treaty referendum, the abolishment of cogovernance and the taking of NZ out of the united nations decleration of indeginous rights.
Could not be happier with this coalition, I'm glad we have produced a government that can put the labour naysayers to rest. Mind you, time will tell that we get things done right, but off to a great start
id have voted or these three if act and nz first werent so anti maori
@@MatuaKiwigoverning for everyone and not giving one specific race special privileges is not “Anti-Māori” lmao
@@55Ironside would you not agree that removing New Zealand from the United Nations Decleration Off Indejinous Rights is Anti Maori. If NOT why
@@MatuaKiwi because the declaration itself declares the impossible and achieves nothing. It’s not possible for indigenous peoples to “maintain and develop their political, economic and social systems” as current all of those aren’t Māori, they’re all just a part of New Zealand, all citizens use the same political, economic and social systems. And if they wanted separate governance, they’d essentially need to be a different state, which is damn near segregation, and thats not a good thing.
And they may engage freely in their own economic activities and traditions… all of which they’re allowed to do anyway.
The declaration also touches on some other issues like land rights etc, but that gets very messy as the declaration says that indigenous people have a right to their land, but doesn’t specify where the line is drawn. Could a Māori person just walk up to anyones farm and start building there? No, because the law doesn’t allow it, but then we aren’t sticking to the declarations murky distinctions and definitions, with our own laws.
We live in a modern society where everyone contributes their tax dollars, and votes on a government in regards to policy and how that money is spent. Māori people have the same say as the rest of us.
It’s a very difficult discussion to have at the best of times, because the population is very split on the claim to the land, and much of the Māori claim is very spiritual, but nowadays we’re a secular state, and can’t make decisions based on beliefs, but what’s best for everyone as a whole. And even at the best of times, governments suck at that.
@@MatuaKiwiMāori are clearly not indigenous, there not like aboriginals that were In Australia since the beginning of time . Not 300-500 years that’s nothing on time scale.
Great stuff! So glad Winnie is on this team😊
winnie wants to remove NZ from the UNs deleration of indeginous rights so you a racist ?
Open comments!? Is this a sign of a free'er New Zealand to come?
First impression, Luxon looks like a good leader. You can see the respect he has for Winston and David, allowing them to speak, and being a team player. Looking forward to seeing the great changes made ahead.
This sounds really good. Well done all three, and good to see Winston back (as foreign affairs minister too).
Three party's coalition is better for democracy. No Majority mandate to push unwanted Legislation. In the midnight hour's at Parliament like the last Labour government...
They couldn't even push through lots of the stuff they promised to do... now wonder they got punisherd at the ballot box.
Intelligent questions soo appreciated!!Am with Winston on this! Disrespectful questions are over!
Very grown up and professional. Beautiful to see in a world of broken politics and trust.
they want to destroy the treaty and the rights of indeginous people. Ask yourself why is it that only in colonised countries do the indeginous people have to take a backseat to their mother land ?. this coalition is broken until this policy is gone
Yes they are adults
''May GOD BLESS this 'awesome' TEAM in their roles.''
awesome my foot the coalition wants to destroy the treaty and the rights of indeginous people with treaty referendum abolishment of cogovernance and by taking NZ away from the united nations decleration of indeginous rights
😂😂😂😂 I guess the media was wrong again .. doesn't look very chaotic to me... Winston you are a legend in NZ politics
did you not see tv3 news showing david seymour talking badly about shane jones months ago but now in THIS video hes saying we'll all work together professionally. the media aint wrong, david's having to go back on whats he's said
@@kiwibonza are humans not allowed to change opinions, there probably talked now and sorted it out, did you think 2 men could possibly to that..
And it's better for our country that they do. I still don't like David myself 🤣
😂😂Jessica Jessica Tova Tova, loved that one,
I enjoyed Winston giggling through this more than anything else lol how good
Winston is a vast improvement on the former Foreign Minister who simply was an embarrassment to NZ. This looks like a government that knows what its doing and won't be held up by divisions that were created by Labour.
winston is an embaracement he doesnt believe maori are iindeginous and that new zealand should be removed from the united nations decleration of indeginous rights
Vast is not great enough adjective for the massive improvement
@@MatuaKiwi bro that word indigenous is a trap, go look at the UN definition of what a indigenous persons rights are under there act? He is absolutely right! We have an agreement here in aotearoa az tangata whenua, not indigenous ppl. As tanga whenua our right superseed any rights other indigenous ppl have around the world. That's what he meant. Everyone missed that! He didn't
@@johnfaneva8168 Their definition aligns with the dictionary and their decleration aligns with te tiriti. YOU should actually read it. Let me sumerize. The decleration protects indigenous culture and right to develope

I think this signifies a good start in the right direction and the first 100 days will be the first indication of how successful this term of government will be. Note to event coordinator: A couple of room mics would have been good to capture the questions being asked by media 👍
its goin in a raist diretio act and NZ first are very anti maori the new policy wants to destroy the treaty and the rights of indeginous people. Ask yourself why is it that only in colonised countries do the indeginous people have to take a backseat to their mother land ?

Very impress from luxon. Sharing deputy ministers is a very good decision to form coalition government.
All the best for a new and better future for New Zealand🎊🎉
Wow I am smiling again, such common sense 😁

I actually think they may be a great team who balance each other. God bless NZ
Amazing to hear. Finally a hope for New Zealand to stop going backwards
we are going backwwards these guys ? the wants to destroy the treaty and the rights of indeginous people. Ask yourself why is it that only in colonised countries do the indeginous people have to take a backseat to their mother land ?
It would be good to hear questions being asked from the media. Thanks
Two comments about the Media:
(1) 😢 They need to use modern technology to enable the Questions to be heard!
(2) 😂 I wish Winston was the Minister of Broadcasting.
God bless New Zealand! ❤

The de-Cindyisation of our beautiful country has finally started.... Now we Kiwis have a dignified and positive future.
Great to see a coalition addressing so many issues. Hope for the future of NZ
The best government in NZ.
Winston is a G 😂
Winston going to be that koro who will growl an say what ever he feels . Going to be very useful for the other 2 that are a lil withholding 😂😂
winston is a raging anti maori racist his policy is to remove nz from the united nations declaration of indeginous rights
The audio from the QUESTIONS is not good enough ??
how do you expect the camera man to have a microphone on all the journalists?
Sounds promising. The proof will be in the pudding.
switzerland has been running its country with shared party coalition for many decades, and its a very efficient and functional little country indeed. will be interesting to see how nz tackles this. so far it sounds all good 👍
well the coalition wants to destroy the treaty and the rights of indeginous people with referendum and by taking NZ away from the united nations decleration of indeginous rights
only difference is Switzerland gives farmers subsidies (to feed their own first) - they keep the best products they produce for their own people and export the leftovers - opposite of what NZ does. We all pay top dollar for the left overs at International prices PLUS Gst on food.
As an American I’m proud of this new government in New Zealand.
From what i understand Labour Party is obsessed with race and they want to import more immigrants to ethncially replace and cleanse white kiwis.
I'm a farmer and buying seed and farming equipment is so expensive it's becoming harder to start up as a new farmer please reduce costs of things and remove red tape
conservatives don’t help peasants, sorry bud. try owning a bank, then they’ll have your back.
in all seriousness, hope you do well, even with the rough few years ahead and then the decades of damage that happens afterwards like the domino effect.
Drop your meat prices
This is a Strong Team. Excited!
Competency over personalities.
Really important to get kids back in school 9,000 not attending it is a disgrace.
All the lefties will cry tears
I really wished new government would deliver GST free on vegetables & fruits like Australia does.
We are going to have to give David a time limit for future speeches
I find him quite pleasant to listen to - so articulate, rational, and intelligent, hardly even looked at his notes lol
This will be a good government.
the coalition wants to destroy the treaty and the rights of indeginous people with treaty referendum, the abolishment of cogovernance and the taking of NZ out of the united nations decleration of indeginous rights. HOW is that a good government its a racist one

This is excellent. Peters is using every opportunity to cane Labour.
The fact that 75% voted against Labour is telling. People have had enough. Even Pacific Islanders and Maori had enough.
Maori and PI? A lot of young ones are probably very upset. But it's a sign they really can't stand each other.
dude even if all maori voted labor thats only 14 percent. Why would maori vote NZ 1st that wants New Zealand removed from the United Nations declaration of indeginous rights or act that wants to abolish maori seats, co governance while also trying to re write te tiriti
And even more against Nz first and act yet here they are😂
@@Innerlight320 i don't think ACT votes from Maori and PI dropped. It was same as last election. Labour did lose a lot of Maori PI votes though compared tp last election
Moving away....from Labour's condesendment and appeasing to factions in order to garner their votes to get over the line. National will have to reign in excessive conservitive rightist idelouge.
New Zealanders are tired of being concerned if the bread van is red or blue...it only matters that there is plenty of affordable good bread.
also dont forget the coalitions policies to destroy the treaty and the rights of indeginous people with treaty referendum, the abolishment of cogovernance and the taking of NZ out of the united nations decleration of indeginous rights.
not destroy, review, and return to its original intention and meaning. The great thing about a Commission of Enquiry is that all views are equally taken into consideration, and analytically assessed. A referendum would have been poorly informed and premature
@@MatuaKiwi Co governance is bullshit anyway they don't speak for the majority of Maori only their personal interests. Some of us Maori just want to get on with what we have got and not be told how we should think. NZ is a melting pot of different nationalities and we don't need the division of what liebour has caused while they sneak stuff in while everyone is arguing over their divisive comments.
@@hamishbuttner3263 this is going to be a rude awakening for you bro but everything youve said is just parroted propaganda, youve been indoctrinated.
