for 53k they should throw in a bedilner.
Bed liner should just be standard
Agreed. Should be the industry standard.
Exactly and wheel well liners
For 53k they should throw in a bunch of shit
Composite bed at that
5.0 the way to go. I've got a 2020 5.0 2wd Sport ,no cylinder deactivation, no oil consumption best vehicle I've owned in my 60 years! Oil changes are EXPENSIVE with 9 quarts!
My 2013 5.0 only uses 7 3/4 quarts.
53k is not affordable for this....knock another 20k off and we might talk......🙄
I wrote a comment that complies with yours, this truck would be ok at 30-35 grande, iff the truck looks and feels inexpensive inside the price should reflect that
Look you are getting a lot for stx way more then you got before on previous model I think it’s is expensive but look how much standard equipment you get compared to Chevy wt ram tradesman and gmc wt
Then just get a ranger because this is the normal price for the f150s now everything is costing more i dont loke these prices either, but welcome to the crappy economy
Hardly anyone pays sticker for new F150s. Rebates as high as $11,000 on 23 models. Ram is offering 20% off sticker on Ram pickups.
Weird that Ford is not offering push button start on well equipped truck. I have push button start on $32,000 Escape and 10 way power seats.
What I do like this the ‘24s all have the nice big screen; instead of the smaller touchscreen on low trims. Plus a column shifter. 🤙
Yep that's why I just went ahead and got the 24 instead of the "discounted" 23
STX with a 5.0 is the way to go.
I looked and couldn't find a truck that could beat my 24 XL price feature for feature. The entire market has gotten out of hand from a pricing perspective. Inflation is the worst. That STX is about what I paid for a RAM limited in 2016. That truck has every feature they offered.
Cloths seats by Ford are great. I had a 2002 Taurus with cloth seats that still looked new in 2017 when I sold it.
Things are different now
I'd have to disagree about the 2.7 vs 3.5. Unless you are towing heavy the 2.7 is a great engine with plenty of punch. I get 19 around town and 23 plus mpg on the highway. 700 miles on a tank of fuel. The 3.5 is 15 mpg around town 18 highway I think. That is a significant difference.
2.7 all day long. I specifically hunted for the trim package I wanted and the 2.7. It's a fantastic motor, tows my 25ft Cobalt like a champ.
you're wrong about those numbers. 3.5 is 18/24
@@kona6451 … no it’s not
@@tewksburydriver8624 Aren't you the one that thinks the 3.5 gets 18 mpg on the highway???? bwhahahahaha. ya you know trucks.
@@kona6451 .. I have a 3.5 Tremor in my driveway. I’ll check the window sticker when I get home. Give you actual numbers.
They put a lot of comfort in the truck but for a xl it needs to be in the low 40s!
It's not really an XL. Go to the lot and sit in an XL then sit in the 2024 STX and you'll see what I mean. The STX is a definite step up.
@tewksburydriver8624 yeah the xl is gone. I configured a 24 crew cab and it started with the stx standard dealer said he doesn't know when my truck will be built hope I get it before summer.
18/23 for economy?
Somehow that is way better than a GMC canyon
Just needs power driver seat, and its a winner
🤢
Love what ford doing with there's truck
Add wide plastic fender, Raptor grill, lift 4 inches, change tail gate, add offroad tires it will look like Raptor.
And a borrowed raptor R sticker 😎😎
They need to discount the 23s so they can make room for these. Nobody is buying these ridiculously expensive trucks.
They are offering 10k off the ‘23 models in my area
Someone is buying them,
All the manufacturers revenue / profits were up
@@lordrayden3045 the lots here and loaded with 23s. Interest rates are up, so are the prices. Even if they have discounted them they still aren’t where they should be.
@@Bdennie84
“Should be”
Problem with your logic is they are apparently selling Beciase ford is making a ton of money.
The “should be” is your opinion not the market reality
@@lordrayden3045 except they aren’t selling. Theyre making money because the pricing is inflated. Just because they aren’t reporting the losses don’t mean they aren’t happening. They’re losing big in the EV segment for the F150.
Keeping it under 70 I'm getting 26-27 mpg on my 2018. Flooring it few times brings it down to 20mpg
Not gone lie. I grew up in a gmc family and thats all i wanted until i worked for a pipeline company. Then after a while i hated hearing that door sound. I wanted a full size truck but the tacoma looked the best and was more reliable than the big 4 and its really all i need. This truck is nice and i like it but that door sound, and that physical key would of been a deal breaker for me but its a nice truck.
I remember i got my 2019 stx for 36k with incentives and discounts. 53k is not affordable lol
I agree with a lot of the other comments it should be a little cheaper and at least have a bedliner and maybe a power driver seat . Other than that it’s probably the truck they sell most seeing as most buyers aren’t coming in with loads of cash hanging out of their pockets.
Ud be surprised how many buy the loaded trucks. New truck buyers have money.
I like the 3 engine options that Ford offers. They all seem to get about the same mpg. The 5.0 coyote also gets about the same gas mileage.
No one is paying 53k for this. Stupid prices with big discounts is back. Even 41-43k for this vinyl wheel truck is a lot but that's what a normal buyer will pay for this.
Nice but more of a mid 40k truck
Give it till late fall/early 25 and they will be. So many 23s are 10k off right now.
@@ThePhinatic8u I ordered the 2024 F 150 in February, and the salesperson gave me a 13,000 discount on the 2023 F150.
@@ThePhinatic8u WHERE??
Just ordered a STX Regular Cab V8 Coyote with a dealer installed Whipple Supercharger. Plans are to slam it and mod the heck out of it into a fast street truck comparable to the Shelby Supersnake at 2/3 the cost.
Literally the best deal for any vehicle on the market. It’s such a good value for something so powerful lol
sorry to hear it
Who did you order through?
My 2024 STX doesn't shift like my 2020 did. It doesn't skip gears. It shifts through every gear and takes forever to accelerate. I miss my old truck that shifted 1,3,5 and so on. It always skipped 2nd and 4th gear.
The yellow is really strange, kind of dig it tho.
It's pretty nice
4:44
The animation shows a bedliner in the the truck
I’d go $45k all in for the FX4, 201A pkg. None available at that price.
Got mine for 40k. 6miles on it.
Used to cost half the price 3 years ago.
I bought a 2019 F150 STX in January of 2020. Similarly equipped to this truck but with the 3.5 vs 2.7. It had 3,700 miles on it and I paid $37,000. $53,000 for a brand new one is nuts, no thank you.
Welcome to the future
Inflation
The reason why the 2.7 is not much fuel efficient than 3.5 and 5.0 is aerodynamic limits. Still 2.7 will give you much better fuel economy in different scenarios.
Would love to see a comparison between the 2024 lariat and the 2024 tremor
I just traded in my raptor for an stx with blackout package and A V8!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't be happier with the simplicity. That raptor was nothing but cam phasers and nickels and dimes. Such a terrible thing.
Am hoping the local dealer lots continue to fill up. Am thinking about a new F150 STX this fall and would like to see a good financing package to go with a mid 40’s price point.
I got everything OTD 45k time to go!
Beautiful. The best one. ❤❤❤
A dealer near me has a “new” 2023 marked down to $48k from 51k.
😂😂
😅😅
53k for a flippy tab rear view mirror and no heated seats. Yeah okay no.
Can a 'leather; steering wheel be retrofitted?
$53k! FOR THAT? LMFAO!!🤣🤣🤣
I'm in Cali and I just bought one for $42,000 I thought Cali was expensive 😂
Hey everyone tom hanks from castaway here
That truck should cost 40K. Every trucks MSRP is 30% overpriced
True. Maybe it'll come back down to the mid 40s. But I doubt it
The price is high & no push to start/Bedliner ?? Sounds crazy
I guess it’s all bout what we want as individuals
53k for the baby eco boost.
This shit is crazy lol
Turbo is a deal breaker. I'd be happy to sacrifice 50% of the power if I could delete it
They need to offer vinyl seats on the Stx and 53,000 is also 5’000 to much
I paid 41k for a 2018 STX. Hard to believe that there is 12,000 more dollars here.
It includes the 25% pay increase for the workers now@@Bdennie84
@@Bdennie84 that was 6 years ago, times change- go make more money
@@jakeminniti it’s not about the money. It’s about why they’re so much more expensive.
I agree. Cloth seats are so hard to clean, especially if I want to take my dogs, and lariats are too expensive to buy just for the leather. A vinyl seat option would be perfect
All the $$ and no leather wheel or remote start.
Glad I got the 23'
I’m old school I prefer column shifters
Wtf, 53k for an STX?? Got my '23 Rattler for 55k with way more options added onto than this besides the digital cluster and 12" screen that I can and have been planning to add lol thats crazy
Is at $45k around me area now
Wow. Did we really come from like 5 years ago to be 20k, 30k, affordable entry-level trucks, and now affordable is 50k. Dam Ford really be bending their consumers over and having their way.
What’s the deal with all the F150 parked at a race track
Supply chain issues
3778 Margie Way
2024 Ford F-150 XL STX SuperCrew Cab 4X4!
33k
Which one do you like better? This or the the SR5 Tundra?
SR5 is WAY better build quality and you get more for your money. I went to look at one today. Ended up looking at the platinum trim because I’m 6 foot 3 and the thigh support on the Tundra was abysmal. Even with the adjustable thigh support. Now I’m back to square one.
Do they charge extra to have the bed liner on the animated truck?😂
7944 Schuppe Springs
Funny how this is supposed to be a cheap truck
You good dude? Seem under weather or something.
Everyone please stop complaining of the price of the base xl and xl with stx look go get the 2023 or below model if you want a cheaper truck. The older xl models were not 50k cause they did not have a standard 12inch gauage and screen so that part of the new 50k price. I think that’s a great price cause what wt version of other brands trucks have 12inch gauage and screen no one has that so. If you hate the price then by the 23 to 21 still has sync 4.
agree, everyone crying about the cost go buy a used 8 year old vehicle. or go make more money, the price is right for this truck, been driving F150s since the 90s, will be replacing my 2016 2.7 with 200k miles with the 24' stx later this year
@@jakeminniti which motor?
I just got my 24 STX last week. I love it but still getting used to parking it downtown
Does the column shifter still go into park when your foot on the break the seatbelt is off and the door is open my STX does it’s a 22
Yes it does 👏🏼
Yes it certainly does😔
Ok BEN!!! If you are looking for a v8 truck under 55k would you get Nissan titan pro4x/platinum reserve they are marked down like 12k or the f150 stx 5.0
Are you getting a titan XD or just a gasser?
@@EastonHB27 They don’t make the diesel no more but the XD still have the same v8 gas engine. Probably the non xd due to ride comfort but still deciding. I was going to pull the trigger on a new tundra sr5 but my lord Toyota went down the toilet.
@@nickiannotti5632 so true about Toyota lol. The titans going to be a lot nicer with materials, but the ford is going to have a lot better tech. I would say the 5.0 would be more reliable then the Nissan too. I would pick the ford, but if reliability isn’t a concern, the titan would have the nicer interior.
Affordable my ass this truck priced for a person who is comfortably making 200-300k a year
The yellow stitching is so ugly. Can you raise and lower the driver's seat?
You need to see it in person.
It's more of an acid green but it looks pretty neat. Too bad I'm ripping it out to do aftermarket leather
@SylentONE I will in time. But what videos I have seen it looks ugly.
Affordable? Maybe for a doctor or hedge fund manager...
53k is not that much lmao…
My 72k truck that I got for 66k really isn’t that bad either
The front end looks like an SUV.
The most boxy truck on the market, if your talking suv, look at a ram lol
The truck is beautifully made. The neon yellow badge is ugly
53k and still a flip key :/
Buy used
1:57 front bumper mis alignment, yikes... $53k for that and no keyless entry. I hope people speak with their wallets and don't buy this
2.7 turbo is crap! plastic oil filter, plastic oil pan, crappy transmission for dropped by consumer reports as a good buy, now a do not buy unless you want to be in the shop all your first year.
You’re out of your mind son. Push your chair away from your computer and experience life first hand rather than through your ‘puter.
So, $53k for, pretty much, a bare bones F-150 STX or $63k for a loaded RAM Laramie Elite. Hmmm…..
They are both out of their mind
But, they are apparently selling g…. So what ever
You could also get a loaded tremor for about 65k
@@lordrayden3045 they really aren’t I seriously don’t understand how you people expect these loaded trucks to be so cheap…
@@kylehowe6761
Me truck person?
No not really. But I don’t judge others on what they drive.
Reality is they are making tons of money so someone is buying them
@@lordrayden3045 people don’t bat an eye when sports cars have been rising in price for years but since it’s a truck and people expect them to be a work vehicle and the price match it being a work vehicle…but these trucks have so much tech and luxury features the prices are not as outrageous as people make them out to be.
Ford trucks are extremely over priced. Not willing to negotiate pricing and the think that it’s a great deal because they don’t have a dealer markup on their trucks.
ALL trucks are overpriced
Your beard looks uncomfortable
I don't like the yellow
I’m so disgusted at how cheap this truck is built and looks inside including no dampened tailgate but still put out 53000$plus for a truck that makes you feel so basic
Other than power seats what is it missing? It has the 2.7, center console, 36 gallon tank, 12" screen, 4x4 with rear locker, heated mirrors and rear glass, remote start for free from the app. Not sure how this truck is "basic".
Basic interior, drop tailgate,4x4auto,did it have heated seats and wheel, app remote means nothing
@@andrewshenton6541 .. not a basic interior it has carpet, rubber mats, center console, 4 usb ports, digital gauge cluster, 12” screen with blue tooth connection. Have you used the Ford App? I have an XLT and remote start on the FOB. The app is better. I started my truck from an airplane after landing so it would heat up. The STX has the App for free. As far as dampened tailgate, it’s a truck man. You want your butt warm go up a trim, I have no need for that.
@@andrewshenton6541.. the app is great and it’s free. Can start or unlock your truck from anywhere. Heated seats and steering wheel, the truck has heat so not really a problem. Tailgate is not that heavy and it’s a truck.
@@andrewshenton6541 good luck
Too much for it
Vinyl floors and turn key ignition for 53? 😂
I like turn key actually
I wouldn't buy it just because it has a physical key... lol
@Ben Hardy, Crazy review, Ben! ((V8)) ((Never LH))
Hashtag not me movement..no buying until Christmas 2024. This sht has to stop .united we stand. Hashtag not me is sweeping the nation..hold the line bring them to their knees..
