exactly, ha ha. at what point did they decide to focus on building cars for the 1 or 2% of people who can afford or justify this expensive of a vehicle. I paid that much for my first house 15 years ago. I think I'll just stick to the 2000 - 2018 vehicles, new enough, but not all the fancy electronics high prices.

Sorry, Jim, Jeep and Ram have gone off the rails. The JT needs an engine upgrade. Ram HDs are still on the old cab, the Cummins has fallen behind, the 68RFE should have gone away years ago, and the Aisin is completely outclassed. All of this, and astronomical pricing. Even the most loyal customers can't make excuses anymore.

Totally insane. The electric infrastucture can barely get by in limp mode when heat hits. See Texas grid asking people to CONSERVE between 5 and 11pm., They are on their own "grid" persay, but California has same issues. So when can you add the load of all these electric vehicles onto the grid? When it's 70 degrees mean temp year round? This is truly a case of putting the cart before the horse. Additionally, this carbon neutral crap is ridiculous. What mode of power generation will be called upon to supply the grid right now? More impotantly, can the grid DOWNSTREAM of power plants handle it? Just asking for a friend.......

  • @jasonpitts8395

Not one actual pickup in the lot of them, only fit for hauling golf clubs..... provided they are carefully loaded so as not to damage some plastic crap on the tailgate of a bed that is too short to be of any real use. Even if one were equipped with an 8' bed, the bed itself would be too flimsy to escape getting bent all to hell inside. Or split/punctured in the case of an aluminum Ford. Seriously, people today have no idea what a pickup is for so manufacturers no longer build an actual truck. Just these glorified four door sedans with a missing trunk lid.

The Ram REV frame looks really well designed, with only a few awkwardnesses. They will get better at integrating all of the systems into a frame, but as their first EV truck designed from scratch, i can see many advantages. The air suspension will be fabulous, and so will the independent rear suspension. They appear to be ahead of GM and Ford in their design, but i am sure Ford is stealthily building a next gen EV truck platform for deployment once their BLUE OVAL City is cranking out batteries.

The Ram REV incorporates one of the elements that made me love the Lightning so much, it still has a true frame. And it would appear that the battery can still be dropped down relatively easily for repair/replacement.

4th year in and everyone wants a brand new truck already. Its just not going to happen on a mid sized, medium sales niche truck. They just have the cash to pull all the time. I get it, everyone’s attention span is 7 mins nowadays but come on, the 3.6 is adequate and overall very reliable. Manufacturers have their hands tied when it comes to installing higher emissions engines. They have targets they must abide by and remember they also sell other trucks. I know I will keep my na v6 over these new T4’s with very complex tuning and software. Love my 22’ Mojave

“Everyone asked for a bigger screen in the jeep truck” really?
Nobody asked for a heavy duty version for more payload, more towing? A 2 door version with long bed, or better reliability in general? Just… SCREENS???

Soon, cars will drive themselves. You will get out, and the car will leave. There will be no parking lots, and probably less vehicles by about 75% or so. No vehicle owned, no vehicle insurance. Maintenance industry also will have massive change. Not as far away as you may think.

With the new Land Cruiser Prado coming to the USA, I actually doubt there will be a new generation of 4Runners. Afterall the 4Runner is the US/North-American exlclusive mid-size SUV of Toyota while in the rest of the world that space is occupied with the Prado. So while the rest of the world got the Prado for decades now the USA had the 4Runner as a Prado-equivalent, the same that the Tacoma is the Hilux-equivalent exlusive to the US/North-American market.

The 4 runner has had record sales do you seriously think they'll stop ? It'll be more size of a tacoma and possibly have manual transmission. Runner won't be going anywhere bet the mortgage on that!
