Whether you want to buy the Arcade1UP Claw Machine or one of the other options I showed in this video - as always the decision is up to you! Hoping this video helps some folks out there be aware of their options! Let me know the FINAL WORD on the Arcade1Up Claw Machine now that pre-orders are live below. Nice well balanced take on all the options out there. And as they say, options are good. I picked up the Vevor mini claw a few months ago and super happy. Got it on sale for $355CAD, which is $263USD. Almost half the price the 1up will be. Really solid metal construction and a lot of bells and whistles of commercial claw machines. I think it's very helpful that you pointed out the size. For me, it goes perfect in a shelf next to my cinema popcorn machine. The size is a much better tradeoff with the quality over the 1up(for my taste) but others may want it to go with other cabinets they may have. So that's something one should consider and nice that you pointed that out. 👍
No claw or capsule machines yet... but dying to wrap one in a Persona 5 theme for some reason. Would look nice next to the Persona 5 PachiSlot I WILL own one day!
I have the Vevor machine, and frankly it doesn't feel all that well made. The electrical cord comes undone. You can only put very small prizes in it. It's nothing special. I think perhaps you were unduly critical in this review.
Interesting as I see a lot of positive written reviews for it and have had lots of people comment on my videos they have the Vevor and love it. But, there's always 2 sides to every coin. Sorry to hear of your experience
I have a Vevor Claw Machine and it is very sturdy and works great. I’ve managed a vending route and even wires occasionally come loose in commercial machines. Many kids and adults have played my Vevor Claw Machine and moved it a few times and it’s just as strong and works just as good as when I bought it.
I have been looking at claw machines for a while. I like the price of the A1Up claw, but I’m concerned on the quality. If they put the A1Up claw on sale, I would definitely pick it up. I’m surprised there was not a preorder discount.
A1up has far more hits than stinkers, but agree, there was also giant pacman & mickey arcade sticks, that polaroid-camera like printer, and the casinocade that weren't my thing.
Just can’t justify $500 on that. I just picked up a Silver Strike cabinet in almost perfect condition without the PC and included the I/O board and security board. With my PC and hard drive (I have connections), I will only have $400 total invested in it. As I’ve said before, I can pickup a used commercial claw machine for less than $500 that needs minor repair which would be so much better than the A1Up unit, so it’s a big no for me.
About half a pound can hold which isn't much TBH but i like the overall style minus the artwork, My idea like most would be to reskin it. $499 is a bit steep being cheap 1up quality. $399 would have been a good price which i can see when they sit on many of them down the line. All in all best to wait till the claw kinks are solved if they have any to start with. If you pre-order on Amazon, don't they charge you when they ship the item or do you have to pay in full is my question?
Personally have zero point zero interest in a claw machine, but this thing doesn’t seem worth $500. To each their own but….if it was something I wanted, I’d probably I’d be looking elsewhere like you mentioned for better options. Now let’s see that Super Sprint in action bro!
My kids should know the VALUE of money. And this crap is worthless shit... shall they go to a park and also play there on arcade machines.... have a nice day, costs so much less.
Excellent video as always PDubs. Highly doubt I would ever buy a claw machine of any sort as it's not my bag. If I were to buy one I'd buy the A1U claw machine if I had a home arcade made mostly of A1U machines.
Don’t have a scale handy to check, but the typical licensed plush I win at Dave and Busters claw machine is about 7” tall and made by The Toy Factory. Based on the CoolToy video, seems possible those could be light enough.
Soooooooooooooooo…What about this Super Sprint review???? I’ve been waiting for what feels like an eternity 😂 Also thanks for this info. Super Sprint! Sorry that one slipped out.
The idea of a claw machine for dispensing snaks in the arcade is starting to grow on me, I think I like your suggestions for other claw machines over A1Up though. Thanks for the vid
I have 2 real ones. I paid $300 for one 10 years ago and I bought one for $100 just a few months ago. Both sit in my garage never used by the kids. They prefer big buck hunter abd my wife’s friends prefer Pac-Man 😂
@@PDubsArcadeLoft My wife and I spoke on this recently. We believe it’s because the game has no excitement or replay value. We already own the prizes, and after playing it a few times, it becomes stale.
Only appeal this has is parents wanting their kids to earn stuff so they buy it for them and put it in here and get a locked button cover to make it so they cant play it without having the power switch key abd then theh earn plays by doing chores or whatever thats the only thing i can think thos would appeal to otherwise its useless
I pre-ordered one off of Amazon. It'll fit with the style already going on with my other arcade 1up machines. And my daughter has been wanting a claw machine for a while.
As bad as I would love to make a cocktail claw machine. This is a pass. Why are there no Star Wars or tron deluxe? Knowing it'll set the market on fire
This is going to be the next pinballs 😂 breaking and overheating and recalls im SHOCKED they never got in legal trouble or recalled the tempest machines

Its odd butt those other claw machines are nice but somehow the arcade 1 up claw machine seams to stick out more with their advertising.
Glad A1up is innovating in home arcade space, this is pretty cool. Can't wait to see some reviews.

@PDubsArcadeLoft I have also heard some great things. Maybe this person works for 1up ;) lol!!
