      Great channel Doc. Subscribed. Big question and I’d value your opinion. I have a CAC of 900 and 4 moderate blockages. I want to take K2 MK7 and D3 but am worried that it may destabilise the soft plaques that we actually want to calcify and stabilise inside the arteries with statins (unfortunately). Or even hinder/prevent this process happening. Any thoughts on this ?
      Thanks for your brilliant work Doc

    Dr. Livingood, thank you for the information on cardiac disease and health. I take vitamin D3 but now will take K2 with it. I'm so thankful for you and your courage to step out of the norm of medical technology and talk about medications we are prescribed. I have refused so many medications but realize I do need a blood thinner since I have heart blockage plus 1 stent placed and some blockage in another artery about 40'50%. Well, hope you will be around for awhile and I will look forward to more of your videos.

    I am a female who had a “widow maker” blockage 99% a few months before my 40th birthday and got a stent. Heart is healthy, though. Just cad issues. June of 2004, two blockages the cardiologist put one stent in that covered both. September 2004, three months later, wasn’t feeling well and doctor found two more blockages that didn’t look significant three months prior. Not able to stent this area, I had an open heart double bypass. September 16 will be my 18 year anniversary!! I have a few garlic stuffed olives almost every day. Will your suggestions help me, too?

    How much garlic do you need? And ACV? How do you take ACV? Do you have to do all these or just a few?

    • @michelcromwell321
      @michelcromwell321 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      ACV also cures acid reflux/heartburn...it cured mine.
      I make a drink of 2 Tbsp (tablespoons) of ACV (you can start out with 1 Tbsp if you can't handle the taste) to 32 ounces of water, dash of cinnamon, couple squirts of fresh lemon juice or concentrate, pure honey to taste (not the honey in the teddybear container, it also contains sugar). Heat about 1/4c of water so that the honey dissolves well. I have a 32oz mug and have marked the outside of my mug where my honey level goes. I put the honey, ACV, lemon juice, cinnamon in my mug first, add the hot water, mix well, fill remainder of mug with cold or ice water. It's also soothing for a sore throat when warmed up.
      I refrigerate and just drink mine throughout the day. I love it...it's refreshing, but it also kills your appetite.
      I think there are YT videos with recipes as well.

Yes in the context of a very low, inflammatory, super low carb, seed oil, hidden sugar diet, you can clean your arteries using a combination vit d3 and k2 supplement with your meals, as well as GOOD, healthy OMAD fasting and long term fasting. Very, very powerful for calcification and overall health.

I no longer have blood clots and never had problems before Covid and the reason I got the clots was due to laying in bed for almost a week due to the high fever and weakness from the virus I ended up dehydrated and not drinking enough it caused the clots. I was a runner beforehand and are well and always took pretty good care of my body. So what do I do now because I want to ween off these meds but I also read that K2 can clot my blood ?? some of this stuff is very confusing especially hearing that K2 and kale, spinach clot blood. Could you please quantify "overconsumption" of calcium. Got an interesting issue where urine oxalates registered at 111 (been eating a lot of healthy greens/spinach-beets etc/dark chocolate/ nuts favorite is cashews... only to learn that they are very high oxalate. Thankful that no kidney stones, but understood consuming calcium citrate alongside these healthy, but high oxalate foods helped to absorb the oxalates and move them through the bowels versus the kidneys. This all pertains to my 80-year senior Father that I am caregiver for. SO frustrating trying to do the right thing...been eating very well and then this. Certainly want to maintain clean, healthy arteries - he takes BP meds...please weigh in, shed some light. Don't want to overdo Calcium trying to get oxalates in check (sigh)

      @DrLivingood  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Overall I would not be worried about eating oxalate-containing foods unless you know you have sensitivities to those foods. Processed food, sugars, and bad oils are way more important to focus on. Many of the foods containing oxalates have a lot of health benefits to outweigh the negatives for most people. -LGD Team

      @@DrLivingood Thanks so much for replying...re processed foods, sugar - already cut those 1.5 years ago. Only using Organic EVOO or avocado oil. Haven't had sensitivities and these veggies/ foods have been in regular meal rotation as they are favorites. Would the fact that the oxalates were elevated be considered "sensitivity"? Is it harmful to continue in the same manner (eating high oxalate foods) without regard to the urine oxalate level?

      Increase your K2! K1 is for blood clotting. K2 is for heart health, blood vessel health, and the proper absorption of calcium into your bones so it does not end up in your arteries. Primary Vit K we need in our system is K2, especially when taking vitamin D! Check out this article: drlivingood.pulse.ly/gq65znimwg Exercise frequently, consume calcium-rich foods, maintain your weight in a healthy range and stay limber. You need 100 mcg to every 10,000 IU of vitamin D3. You can up the vitamin k2 if you want. But that's standard dose pretty much.
