Cured my fatty liver with that Milk Thistle and N-Acetyl-L-Cystine. It speeds up the production of glutathione which cannot be taken as a supplement because the digestive system will break it down. Also switched to the Mediterranean diet and stopped all processed carbs and other foods. I too lost 22 lbs and never felt better. Best of all, no doctors needed. An insurance physical lab test confirmed the liver enzymes have all returned to normal.😊

I have been doing a lemon cleansing drink every morning for 18 years and feel great. Fresh squeezed lemon, 1 tbs of apple cider vinegar in a pint of filtered water and a dab of liquid stevia. With it I fill an empty veggie cap with 2 drops of clove and 10 drops of lemon medical grade essential oils. Clove oil is the highest antioxidant ever measured and lemon oil keeps the liver clean. My 92 year old Mom did the same, stayed healthy and sharp until she decided to consciously move on in a very short amount of time. She stayed away from vaccines and medications, ate healthy, played jazz piano among many skills and never had much pain to speak of.

I had a fatty liver - due to eating way too much sugar, although I only had minimal to moderate alcohol intake. I lost 30 lbs, cut out 95% sugar, and reduced carbs as much a possible. My Dr. was surprised that I was able to completely turn my liver health around (verified by a follow-up ultrasound). He said - most people don't put in the effort to get healthy.

How long between your diagnosis and your follow up did you get these results?
For me, my follow up is two months after my diagnosis. I'm on week 6 of intermittent fasting + low carb & near-zero sugar since my diagnosis and my follow up is in a couple of weeks.

@@darkglass3011 Hi. I would say it was about a year between diagnosis and follow-up. I was never a really heavy person, used to run a lot and only occasionally consumed alcohol. I did have about 20 lbs of fat from consuming too much sugary foods like Ice Cream, chocolate, sodas, etc. I did the intermittent fasting to drop the weight quickly (one of the best things to do for a fatty liver from my research), and of course cut out all alcohol, and almost all sugar and most simple carbs (100% is hard). I also avoid unhealthy oils (Omega 6s - which can lead to inflammation) - only go with quality olive oil and avocado oil (healthy fats). I eliminated my slightly high blood pressure, reduced my cholesterol levels well into the healthy range, and started to reverse my insulin resistance (my A1C was creeping into the pre-diabetic range). Amazing what a re-tooling of the diet can do for one's health. Good luck on your journey - I would be curious to hear your success story!

I once called a Chinese doctor who specializes in herbal remedies. I asked him about milk thistle. He said it helps, but you don't use just one herb. He went on to say, "Think of it like this.. You would not send 1 soldier to fight a war. They would lose the war very quickly. Instead, you send many soldiers, and together, they will win. So, you need more than just 1 herb. You need many that work together. "

Our fruit today is not what it used to be, choose berries if you have to have fruit. more meat and animal fats will adapt you to fat burning mode and help your liver. Actually, the best source for bioflavonoids in the lemon is in the white part. If you really want to do yourself justice, put the entire lemon in a blender (seeds and all) with a 1/2 cup of water and about a 1/2 cup of any kind of sprouts like bean, alf alfa etc. I like to do 1 lemon, a qtr of a cantaloupe, organic coconut water, sprouts, acv, half to one teaspoon of salt (Himalayan is best) and a teaspoon of a plant-based sweetener. Lots of bennies.... Oh and lemon juice concentrate is a no no and if you can get organic lemons do that. Limes aren't quite as good as lemons, but they are still very good!

I got sick right away with a viral thing lasting a little over 2 weeks, (haven't been sick in probably 20 years) but I have detoxed in the past and that's usually the first thing that happens...I chase out some latent virus...so that's a good thing. It's been two months now that I have started my day this way. I imagine since lemons are so nutrient dense it can't hurt? Plant based is the cause of many peoples health issues and many people, usually ex plant based, have fixed many of their health issues, including fatty liver, by going carnivore. Personally I'm not sure what works best for me yet, but plant based is definitely harder on me that meat based. But how do you know the liver issues aren't a result of being plant based and just built up to that point when you had switched to keto carnivore? Health issues can take a long time to develop. Dr. Ken Berry has stated very clearly that keto will reverse fatty liver within a few weeks.

@@w1975b not arguing anything someone said. I have been plant based since high school. I am 41 years old now. I had multiple ultrasound, never had issues with liver. I had an ultrasound right before I went to carnivore-ish diet, meat, cucumber, avocado. I did it to improve my gi symptoms. Unfortunately it has not resolved any of my issues besides bloating getting slightly better, like a yo-yo. Then I go for my yearly check up after being on a diet for a year, my liver enzymes are high. Then I go for ultrasound and get diagnosed with non alcoholic fatty liver. So to me it is quite clear, for years I did not have anything wrong with liver and after a year of this diet my cholesterol is very high. And problems with liver. I guess this diet is not for me. Back to plant based. I feel better, no fatigue after eating. Waiting to see if my ultrasound results get better in 6 months.

@@learnandspeakenglishwithme8953 considering you were plant based for so long, your liver may have been unaccustomed to the requirement of processing more fat. Professor Bart Kay would probably be better able to explain. He's a nutritionist as well, usually does livestreams on Saturdays for FAQs if you wanted to ask him to explain what could have happened.

You can do lemon water if you dont change your diet. My partner went diabetic a year ago. I did massive research as all is hidden behind gimmicks! Gradually I realized the diabetic diet is the food pyramid. Then I wanted to not have to do massive charts or apps and calculated the carbs into a percent. The hospital's printed brocheure was wrong. They wanted to have me have a mandatory psych exam? I said Im not the patient!! They said 70 carbs per meal and two 20 carb per snack. NO! its max 60, no carbs in snacks. Eat all foods together at your meal. No grazing. Strangely the 10% I got on daily meal started matchig can labels. Also hidden fact. You can eat more in an ingrediets like oatmeal is a 20% carb food but its good for you You add a few ounces of cheese, an egg, other protien. His insulin was reduced 75% and hoping to get him off it and the metformin too. Some foods act like metformin the sugar pusher downer from the liver. Grapefruit, brussel spourts, asparagas. Thats it, eat normal. Eat whole foods. Do not eat ever at all artificial anything, especially not sugars. Its all boiled alchohole even agave. If its not cold pressed its alchohol. Read an atkins bar it says sugar alcohol. NO corn syrp, corn oil. We only use olive oil. Its not that hard. You cont need to get "health food". Eat what you want off diabetic society lists. But I make banana bread sometimes.Zucchine bread better as veggie. We buy Walmarts great large size apple pie that is 12% carbs and cut into 12ths. We have some meals only fish and veggies. Add acids too. Pickles, whatever you like. He lied pickles I hate them. Whole oranges. Drinking juice wont really fit in. The doctor told me a long time ago....dont drink your fruit as in stop juicing. Just eat it! Thats it, not that hard and you can do that today right now without looking things up. Oh i you have to have a white bread choose sourdough, rye etc. Check labels on wheat if they add sugar or other things too. Sourdough is complex. It deigests slower, differently. He wasnt really overweight. I was. I didnt even know I was loosing weight and more in inches until my pants started not fitting! 2 pant sizes now and both our bellies smaller.

I saw your video today, I was looking for the Collagen with Milkthistle. I am so tired of dealing with sickeness, pain and not getting any relief from over the counter pain meds. I am taking prescriptions for arthiritis, diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, cancer, aortic aneurysm, eye pressure (I have to use 2 different eye drops) which are causing me to struggle with bright lights. I can't go outside when the sun is bright. I have dealt with cancer three times now, (my parents and one of my sisters died of cancer). I am at my witts end, I can't stand it anymore. I drink ACV with cayenne pepper first thing in the morning. I also take a tablespoon of olive oil, and also drink lemon water. My A1C results was 9 on my last bloodwork.

Yes I know it's a really good thing to do couple of slices of lemon. I take the skin off and pop it into a jar and put water in as you say in the fridge and keep having a sip every so often. Tip some into a mug and have a little sip. It helps keep your pH levels up a bit and it helps with a whole host of health related things

Many thanks for sharing this tip. I've known about this for oh gosh years and I recommend it to people and some of them are taking it on board and others are just you know. Cast it away which is a is a shame. But what can we do if a horse doesn't want to drink water? Anyhow, have a really have a really good and blessful day. Thanks again for the tip. It's wonderful someone did one today with slices of lemon and also cucumber which is another good one. Some people have said to me when I mentioned to them about cucumber they said to me it's just full of water. That's no good for you and I mentioned about the benefits of that's of salad of salad like cucumber or the vitamins, nutrients and minerals the body needs. It's got whole selection of those in and same with melons and grapefruit and peaches and plums and all their fruits. Raspberries blueberries are a good antioxidant strawberries can help you to sleep cherries can I find a little slice of orange oranges can help you as well with your body with vitamin c which puts you into auto repair mode. That's how I see it and the cross and apple a day keeps the doctor away so they used to see when I was a child. And well it's been working for me and hopefully I'm getting older now mid 60's yes it's a wonderful thing being being able to have access 24/7 for any health-related benefits of food. Wow! It's a wonderful thing cuz wow. Anyway, have a blessful day. Thanks again and wow we'll be checking out more videos. A really good day. Bless you
