    This review is pretty much spot on I brought this projector as a stand in for my optoma darbee hd39 which is being repaired. I spent along time researching projectors many say not to buy these cheap Chinese led projectors they are very lound prone to issues with dust have low lumen and refresh rates but this unit is very functional in my opinion, I would say the fan is loud definitely in the higher end of 40db range but once the movie or music is playing you will tune it out, the other consideration is dust getting in the lense, an issue all these led projectors are prone to so be aware of that, look after and clean the device regularly pack away when not in use.

    Amazing VIdeo. probably the best review on this device on youtube that I have seen

    I did some research before buying it, and to be honest its the best input lag i could find for that price. The other at 16.67 ms are around 1000$ which is not exactly in the budget of everyone. Its sure that the difference could have being see in the tv because that projector is a 50-60hz. I really appreciate the video too. We thought the input was around 100ms so we were close. Thanks to you, now we know the exact number 😊. What was your other projector model if it doesn't bother you.

    How noticeable is the game play lag, i.e does it impact play to the point of being frustrating?

    • @BudgetNerd
      @BudgetNerd  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The lag isn't bad, but it's the refresh rate that is most noticable. But if you're not a refresh rate snob, then it won't be a big deal.

    • @BudgetNerd
      @BudgetNerd  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a good projector, but it's refresh rate is low. The image would ghost a bit, but it's up to you if that matters for you or not.

    • @BudgetNerd

      Yes I would think it would be harder to notice since it doesn't have to refresh as fast.

    I asked my wife to get this projector for me for X-mas. I like it but I honestly don't feel its Native 1080p. Not bad for the money compared to my Pyle Projector

    • @CCCP1968
      @CCCP1968 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s native 1080p but on a projector that doesn’t mean as much. A 4K projector would look similar to a UHD tv and now that they’re coming out with 8k TVs I’m sure the 8k projectors are 3-4 years away, which will make the 4K projectors more budget friendly. A projected 1080p image won’t ever look as good as a 1080p image produced by an actual display, unless you have absolutely 0 light pollution, 0 dust and a absolutely perfectly crafted lense and perfect calibration, with a perfectly smooth screen.

    • @CCCP1968
      @CCCP1968 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have my V630 14 feet away from a 150” screen. My picture settings are:
      Contrast 50
      Brightness 61
      Color 65
      Sharpness 60
      I use the warm color temp during the day and cool color temp at night. Increasing brightness will decrease the color quality and overall picture quality, so keep that in mind. (Also explains why it doesn’t feel like 1080p) but remember that 99% movie theater projectors aren’t even 4K, there’s a reason why theaters are pitch black. Investing 1-2 hours on your specific setup by messing with a combo of the settings, keystone, mounting position/angle. Tvs are cool because this is all preset and just show on a display, but for way cheaper you can get a massive screen at similar quality.
      Depending on screen size and how bright the room is the numbers will change but the ratio seems to be agreed upon by other ppl I’ve talked to who also own this projector.

      @@stower82 a lot of projector reviews can be strict, I’ve seen a bunch that color correct the whole video so what’s the point? At least this dude didn’t do that. I personally own the V630 projector and I’m super happy for the price. It was $230 and I’m just using it until 4K projectors become more affordable.
