I own the V620 and the V630, the V630 is like 5% brighter (you can't even tell the difference) but the V630 fan is 70% louder! Buy the V620, no question about it, you will absolutely LOVE IT💗 Hands down best projector I've ever owned.

FYI for anyone who never gamed on a projector . Once you get one with low input lag and pair it with a next gen system, pc, or even older game consoles , you will never go back to a tv. It's just too amazing.
This projector has a low input lag?
The fact that you can still see the image when the blinds are completely open tell me Vankyo didn't cheap out on brightness output. I've seen Ebay projectors claim 7000 lumens and in full light completely disappear. For the price, the Vankyo really isn't too bad if you want to have movie nights in your house.
Yeah those are all false claims because the Chinese market isn't regulated on ANSI/Lumen/Lux ratings. Quite like this one, it's a fantastic budget projector, but is nowhere near 6500lumens. At 6500lumens you can light up your street with it like headlights from a car, and the fact that $15k+ projectors by name brand manufacturers (which are regulated) have a lumen rating of between 2000-2600, this projector comes in at around 1200-1500lumens.

I got the updated version the vankyo 630w projector it really great only paid $ 230 dollars us from Walmart iam using the projector with my xbox one s and my philips hts3306 5.1 blu-ray home theater system and my roku 1080p streaming stick and a 120inch projector screen it great and my spectrum HD cable box
Yes. I also use the headphone jack as external speakers plug in. I using a set PC speakers.

I have an Infocus business projector that has 2500 actual lumens and you can use it with lights on in the room. In the dark it's too bright. I bought the v630w and it was dim looking in total darkness. I returned it for that and it had dust or something on the inside of the lens right out of the box.
How long is the lamp supposed to last in these? Do they hold up well over time being on the cheaper side?

I would look for an used better quality projector for that price. The budget projectors are fine, but they're really too noisy to watch daily tv on it. if you have the possibility to get a hushbox, try it.
Thankyou for this is depth review, but it would really help if you would include information like throw ratio so people know what screen size they can achieve in their room and also the refresh rate and input lag for people who want to play games. I couldn't find any information on these things in the description or elsewhere on the internet.

I heard their was quite a bit of input lag with this projector. You would have to game on a projector with less than 40 ms input lag. Something like the Viewsonic pa503w is one the cheaper projectors with low input lag

@@GeekStreet well I ordered one I I got the v600 model for £120 as it was a amazon prime lighting deal so I think the only difference between the v630 and v600 is the 630 has 6500 lumens and the v600 has 6000 lumens but it was a £100 difference in price

Geekstreet i needed to ask you a question.I was wondering why you never shown the picture settings since Bomaker doesn't give much features and 1 feature which is user mode.The rest of the features gives a dim picture.I couldn't change the tint on Bomakers options.Is this projector more bright and clear picture.Bomaker had no brightness or picture quality.

is there screen tearing? I've got an elephas which is pretty much same as this (looks like it!) but I'm getting a lot of screen tearing when playing high intensity parts in movies :(

@@ChromeBreakerD only just seen this haha. I've upgraded to a optoma hd144x and it's the best decision ever. Ended up finding out that the elephas can't do 60hz constantly so ended up returning it!

V630 has only 30fps and considerable input lag. For games id go for the v600 it has 60 FPS and low latency. Check out other videos comparing v600 and v630

You made a mistake by mentioning that it would be great to set up an external speaker on this to give it a better theater sound experience. Well there's an auxillary plug allowing you to do just that.

I was wondering if you could help me with something very important there seems to be a lot of people complaining, including this one review or saying that the lag time on this is extremely bad some say it's 30 Hertz have you found this to be true. One reviewer went as far as to say you're better off sticking with the VANKYO 600 for has better response time.
I don't recall noticing a lag, I tested it gaming. You could order and Amazon does have a good returns policy just return if you don’t like. If you do order let me know how you get on.
Its true, the input lag is high but it has much better picture quality than other budget projectors.
To get a better picture quality with room light, use a black projector screen.
I find it making too much fan noise, but I guess there isn't anything silent for this price ...

Does yours run at 60Hz? I saw another review that his V630 is only outputting 30Hz even tho windows says 60Hz
yes its 30 hz this beamer is not for gaming and not for over 100 inc ore you can read nothing in the corners
@@Carissana it does 60hz, and the reason for over 100in screen unreadable is the fact that it's not 6500lumens, its more like 1200-1500 in reality because the Chinese market isn't regulated and flood places like Amazon with false claims of 4klumens and above.
I have this hooked up to a high end AVR and it shows the input source as @1080p/60hz. The screen tearing is due to your graphics cards inability to truly provide the image and causes the distortion as the image is out of sync. Try setting a different aspect ratio from your graphics card and match the output for refresh rate, if you have it at 30,45hz or 75hz in your OS like windows or Mac's graphic card settings and your resolution (aspect ratio), it will be distorted as the input into the projector is not matched to the output of the projector. I also run this straight from my PC and the RTX 2080 Ti and it does great!
@Sendit Sunday regardless of what you or the "spec sheet" says, I have the projector and use it daily and it's 60hz. The OP of this comment also their projector is messed up or they don't know how to use it as I'm running a 120" screen and everything is crystal clear from corner to corner.

Has anyone run into an issue with the Digital Keystone. I amTrying to get help from Vankyo. Hoziontal and Verticle works (thru the menus), but when you power off the projector, and power on, the custom keystone settings are still there, but don't enable till you adjust them. So when you power off/on, the projection is crooked (if projector placement is offset) Little annoying, but not the end of the world.
Keystone setting seems to have a mind of its own. Usually you can turn the Auto Adjust ON and screen pops back into a rectangle but not every single time. A little annoying but easy to tweak it into a rectangle again.

Anyone have any idea why audio on V630 with FireTVstick 4K would stop working? Was working perfect when turned off night before. Checked all sound & audio settings in projector & Firestick. Nothing on youtube. I'm stumped.
Just found cause of no audio guys. A bluetooth sound adapter connected to A/V receiver in living room was on and paired/connected with Firestick/projector in back bedroom without me realizing it. Turned receiver & bluetooth adapter off and it's all good now.
Projector speaker is disabled when bluetooth or audio jack is used.
Someone should probably point out how dusty the lens gets, and that there is no way to clean it. It's great if you do a 1 hour test... just use it around 10 hours and see what happens. I am sending mine back, bad design, dust goes everywhere on the many lenses and mirrors. What about all the blur around the edges? Only the middle is sharp. It only has about 270 lumens.

Obvious this is not a DLP projector which means you cant get every corners focused and the lumun is super low. I believe it is about around 200

Yes to me just a little lag not bad i play halo guardians and halo master chief collection and halo infinite on the projector with just little lag but the games played ok
You claimed electronic keystone correction yet you used a mechanical wheel to adjust? No digital keystone correction on this model. The deal breaker for me though is the lack of an optical zoom. I won't be a slave to projector placement for image size.

Remember this is a budget projector, it's not bad but there are better options. If your budget is limited its perfect and it will do all the things you mentioned.
