Hi, is there any way for me to install just one of these fans without the use of the hub? Is it possible my MOBO might have a port on it that could supply power and/or RGB control? Thanks
what type of screw are the mounting screws? I installed the Corsair QL140 in my pc a long time ago and lost of the manuals. But now im looing to get some anti-vibration rubber rings to make the fans quieter.
Thanks for the video! I have a question: I am expecting my PC parts to build my first PC and already have two of these 140mm fans purchased . My motherboard will be an ASRock B550M STEEL LEGEND Micro ATX, will it be able to handle all the connections without the need for a splitter?
I will be using 10 Corsair ML120, 6 ML140 or QL140 on my radiator (push/pull configuration), argb GPU bracket, led strips, and the Corsair Water Cooling H170i Elite Capellix Black. I want to use the Corsair Commander pro. I need assistance with is how to hook them up. The case will be the obsidian 1000D. Thank you for any assistance you can give.
I bought a NZXT Kraken X73 RGB and 6x Corsair iCUE QL120 and my Mainboard is an ASUS ROG STRIX B550 -E Gaming. I am not sure if I need a splitter for all of those six fans and the Kraken and if it will all fit on my motherboard. I am not a PC guy but I have to build it myself (bought the parts from different websites). I am really confused tbh, this video helped a little bit but I am still trying to figure out if I will need splitters or not and I would appreciate it if you could give a short answer :)
@@greeniekid1341 sorry i'm late but is it possible to hook them up without the splitter? Then just connect the splitter later i know it will look a little messy.
greetings friend i want to ask my ql120 rgb fans working perfectly but i dont have light nothing lights not working .i have downloading the i cue program i can see them in the program, i change lightn effects and colour but nothing the lights dont work but the fans are running
How do you recommend to connect 7x ql120 inside the Corsair 5000d ? Can I plug 6x 120 rgb connector to the lightning core and use the output of that (USB header) and plug it to the commander core ? My main problem is the 7th fan (rgb and pwm plug) .
I too have a similar setup. Current trying to figure out how to connect everything to a Commander Core but that only has 6 ports for fans. Looks like a splitter cable will solve my problem.
Hi, I’ve just bought the Corsair 4000x case which has 3 fans installed and the lightning node core. The motherboard is ASUs tuf gaming b560m atx. How should I connect the fans to the motherboard? Thanks
How are you controlling the RGB on the 500DX? I've the same case and also running a Asus motherboard (Z390-A) but the case RGB connecter isn't compatible with the MB RBG Header. Are you just leaving it to the case button and not synching its lighting at all?
I hope this helped you out! Let me know in the comments which and how many RGB fans you have in your PC BUILD! 😁👍

You can connect 3 p/ header since the max is 1amp so 3x3 give you 0.9amp

Can the pwm cable be connected to the node core?
So if I'm installing 3 of these fans, it is recommended that I buy a splitter ?
Yes it’s recommended. If you want less cables then a splitter is good!
