Looking good Trina! I'm not a bi purple fan, but it works in this piece the way you complimented it with the ocher, and really nice to have those pops of color in the foreground. Love the distance "fence" marks showing depth. The sky turned out FAB! Nice combination of colors. Yep, love it all~! 😍🤩😍
Perfect marks! Love the purple with the black lines in front of it. My only wish, is that I could have seen the whole page while you were working. The camera was very close and cut off the sky.
Thank you! I like to get closer when I making marks so you can see the results. If I’m too far out it’s hard to see what I’m doing. Hope that makes sense. 😍
Another beautifully textured piece. And those last couple of black lines really brought it all together. I love the way the scraping adds depth - instead of vertical this time, it created horizontal perspective. And the colour blocks you put in create different areas of vegetation & the Paynes grey & white in the middle created water. The green, yellow ochre & purple definitely added a richness too. Really liked this one as a cohesive painting. Do you ever add trees using ink blowing to get the random jagged branches? When you were thinking about what it needed, I could see how some distant trees on the right would have added some vertical interest 🤔
Well I spent all afternoon fighting and learning that I definitely do not like wet strength tissue paper for collar leg. I won a subscriber give away and I was gifted some lovely papers and wanted work with them today. Not knowing what the papers were or what mediums were used was a little tricky. But I finally figured out the wet strength stuff bc it only tears nicely in one direction. I’ll stick with our beloved MEP! Very frustrating day but achieved some decent enough collages for calendar pages. Nice work today!
@@MixedMediaArtByTrina Please save your wallet and sanity and forego the temptation of “magic” paper! I believe we already have magic paper with the med exam paper. I’ll try and remember to send you a piece but it will be gel printed. Yuck is all I can say!

Oh thank you! I’m not a purple fan either, however, that plum color is something! It really does work with the Ochre. 😍
Beautiful and creative. ❤❤❤
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it. 😍
Other beauty. Love the left side with the maroon color and ochre,
Me too! Thanks for watching! 😍

I’m LOVING exploring the scraping method! I try not to add distinct objects to my work. I like to play with line, form and color. Thanks my friend. 😍

Oh no! Sorry for your struggles. I have never tried WST although I’ve heard people swear by it. I’m sticking with the MEP. 😍

@@swl9270 haha! Will do. I have some regular tissue paper but I have put it away since the MEP. 😬
