That is a beautiful charcuterie. My friend and I did something similar for our last big party just before COVID. It's much less work than a lot of possible party menus, but so abundant and festive.

If you were to design a charcuterie board, what would you include? What would be your preferred dimensions? Would you have recesses to keep the meats and chees fluids from intermingling? I will be making heirloom quality butcher blocks and charcuterie boards from musical grade walnut, cherry, maple and other domestic woods. Please give me some ideas to use. I see lots of scrap wood quality boards but I have not seen anything I like. Thanks for your reply, Sam.
