I love it I graduated as a chef 2023 and this video is amazing. It is helping me put the grazing table together for my church. Thank you so much for all your hard work.
This year I'm adding a cottage cheese dill dip/spread, with baby cucumbers, and really nice dense bread, so that they we can make mini cucumber sandwiches.
My daughter used to make this type of dining for just us we called it fancy lol. Truthfully it’s wonderful and not fancy no one seems to do all the work to make people feel like they are important guest and this is why we call it fancy it was our lil labor of love. You created a masterpiece and made all of us all out here in TH-cam land feel important 😊
Love your videos. Would love to see a more overhead shot of you placing the food so we can see how and where (deli meat for example). You do make it look easy and not so scary to try it. Thank you!
It’s generally considered safe to leave deli meats out at room temperature for 2 hours. For longer events, you might consider putting out only 2/3 of the meat and refrigerating the rest until the board/table needs to be restocked.
I will be making charcuterie boards and I need some advice about them. I will also be making butcher boards. I'm not interested in making run-of-the-mill discount stuff. I will be making heirloom quality, unique boards. Is there a way to privately email? Thanks, Sam.
One thought… Unless you know all your guests very well -well enough to know their dietary needs and restrictions- it’s thoughtful to include a gluten-free option in the cracker selections. Otherwise, great video! Thank you!
Unfortunately for someone who is medically gluten free, the board is not safe once anything with gluten is included. So unless you stay completely away from gluten products the board is not Celiac safe. Just my two cents (I am not a celiac, but my family members are. )
@ Thank you for pointing that out! I’ll remember that when I have people over that I don’t know very well. 👍 My adult kids and I are “medically” gluten-free (mostly), but that is because we’re allergic to wheat, rather than for celiac disease. Though we might tolerate some forms of gluten, often the easiest way to avoid wheat is to simply reach for “gluten-free” products. *Our* allergies are not so severe that cross-contamination is a worry, but I realize that even a minuscule amount of a problematic food can be dangerous for some. So thanks again for posting your comment. ❤️
It’s getting worse now with allergies we literally have latex allergies in the family so even cooking the bbq out side and washing dishes with latex can set off a couple folks but what can we do except ask if any guests needs anything different 😅
@@jeffcole1914 Latex is another allergy that can be very serious even with very small exposures, and another one that I have at a milder level (luckily!). We use *nitrile* gloves for household chores, the kind used in hospitals and physicians’ offices. They’re thin and not as durable as typical household rubber gloves, but they’re much less expensive (per pair) and come in boxes of 100, and in several sizes. Amazon has them. It’s good that you ask your guests about allergies. Too many people are dismissive and that is uncomfortable at best, and can actually be dangerous for some.
Thank you for the video. It was very informative for first-timers. I'm a little frustrated just because the camera panned more to you than to where and how you were placing items. I'm a visual learner and a picture is worth a thousand words.
I really enjoyed your 'How to Make a Grazing Table 101' video!! I'm hosting a company Christmas party and I'd love to see a holiday-themed grazing table with options that are kid-friendly. I'd appreciate your thoughts and ideas on this.
@@autumnraynor653 OMG I MEANT 150 people. Costco pack of cherries grapes and blueberries two brie soft, one huge log of cheese to cube, celery pack, carrot pack, tiny pepper pack. i peeled baby tangerine oranges things too. 2 costco packs of procuto and I cut them smaller to make them go further.
costco bag of pepperoni, ranch hummas and nuttella. a box of costco artesen crackers with like 4 kinds of crackers. chocolate mint balls, igot rice crispy treats too and cubed them LOL! everyone thought it was gourmet - cost about 250-300 ish bucks. got small jams from Ralphs and olives too.
The hostess spoke at a perfect timbre, and the tempo of the music matched her own energy. No issue there from my POV. However, if you find it annoying or distracting, you could very well have a condition known as misophonia that you might want to have checked out by an ENT.
I like your post but what I don't like is the music. It needs to be gone. People like me who wear hearing aids, the music takes over no matter how low you bring down the volume.
Did anyone else catch her wiping the side of her nose with her right index finger and then grabbing the cheese with the same finger? 🤢 Always use gloves :)

Fabulous video, I watched this and used it to help create my first grazing table for a girlie dinner last night and they were very impressed!

大好きで癒される唯一のデコレーション、本当にきれい。どんどんハマっていくこの世界、本当に癒される目で見てるだけでもいいよ😊😊😊ㄱ👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Looks good. I think I can do that. Thanks.

Looks fabulous! 🍽🌞
Awesome presentation and wonderful explanation of how to make this beautiful board
Yum. It looks fantastic. I love the mint addition. Would I also eat a strawberry wrapped in a basil leaf? Yes. Yes I would.
Ooh… That sounds delicious! Would the basil hold up on the table for a couple of hours? I’d be concerned about wilting.
Love the table idea for large crowds!
Love to see the professional at work in her element 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽ty for sharing your tricks with us!!!
Looking for some veggie additions, cucumbers, carrots, cherry tomatos,
Wonderful! This video was very inspiring! Thank you!
how do i know how much meat to use per person?
It's gonna be for an evening birthday after 20:00 o clock.
Well done
What kind of board you bought from Amazon for setting colourful food on it please !!
Thank you ❤
Great job! Looks beautiful!
looks great... thanks for your video.
I'll be using this for an open house. Thank you!
How many people would that. Board feed?
She said 15
I learned from this Im looking forward for my baby's baptism
Where do you pop the cheese knives and do you use tooth picks etc?
How many would that serve for a cocktail hour?
How did you do the prosciutto?
Fantastic! Excellent , clear presentation!!
Beautiful!
So what do you do when label on the charcuterie meats says keep refrigerated?
It’s generally considered safe to leave deli meats out at room temperature for 2 hours. For longer events, you might consider putting out only 2/3 of the meat and refrigerating the rest until the board/table needs to be restocked.
Fantastic
but how are you pricing it all = by product type + number of people + overhead (under US$150), etc. ?
This was so helpful!! ❤
Since it's Autumn now, can you please show us how to keep apples and pears from browning for more extended periods?
You can sprinkle some lemon juice on it works wonders

I doubt that you can make a charcuterie board that will stay fresh long enough to become an “heirloom.” 😉
So, how are guests to serve themselves from this? Especially the loose fruits and nuts?
This may seem silly, but where do you put the knives for the Brie and Boursin? This always stumps me when I’m making a board 😂

I cut my grapes into smaller bunches, else the first guests get them all. You can pile them up to get the height!

Shouldn't you slice those soft cheeses so more than 3 people can have some? 🤔
i gatta make my first one of these for 1500 people. i will be playing this video in slow motion
😮 how do you know how much food to buy??!! I have an event for 130 people, and I'm still trying to figure it out

Nice but no need for the annoying music, your voice is the focus for the tutorial.

Dommagemanque de volume
Good idea.....no need for music, it's distracting & annoying

Turn them down.
Please don't touch your nose or face then touch the food 😬 beautiful table
No chutney or honey
Did anyone else catch her wiping the side of her nose with her right index finger and then grabbing the cheese with the same finger? 🤢
Always use gloves :)
touching nose and then cheese😐
This is like watching TV with your slow friend who still watches TV and still sadly thinks its cool.
...I think this is supposed to be mean, but appreciate the comment! :)
Wait… You have friends?! That’s surprising. 🙄
Hate these “grazing” tables, it’s disgusting when guests grab the food with their bare hands, ends up being one big sloshed food mess
REally annoying music. Had to move on.
