I had to manual calibrate my Rocket Plus in betaflight, mine was way off too. Hate capacitor on xt30 plug, hard to get battery to sit right on drone. Love, love it besides that. Took off my guards and put on Avan 2.3 props. Tig Rollin has good low fast flight footage review, he uses dji controller, seems to go way out there. Would love to have Rocket Lite and see if Avan 2.5 props would fit, on Rocket Plus only 2.3 inch props would work, hits dji air unit.

Looks like another nice GEPRC product. As for JESC, afaik it's no wonder cure for yaw washout or able to fix uneven weight distribution. I have been using JESC 48KHz on my old UK65 to get a little better flight times, but handling usually gets a little less crisp when using 48KHz firmware. Btw, if you shift the battery a little back, would it not be possible to make the quad balance perfectly in the center and make it perform better in acro?
andy I have the dji air unit in the geprc cinego and dji controller ...I haven't flown yet I was wondering if there is a stock stick armining or do i have to setup a arm switch in beta-flight?

Hi Andy! Thanks again. I bought the Cinepro 4K F7 thanks to your fantastic review and absolutely loving it. Now I want to dive into the DJI world. I’ve got the QX7. Do I get the DJI controller or Frsky + DJI goggles or a model with Crossfire + Tango 2 controller? With the DJI controller, isn’t the range about the same or better than crossfire? I am guessing once I go DJI, it’s analog bye bye 😂 Thanks!
i wanted to hate the DJI controller but seen as it works on the same frequency as the video. they both have the same range. So you really have to hold the dji controller in your hands to see if you like it. for me i really like it because no more messing around with receivers and antennas.

Wonderful review of my new dream machine. Gonna sell off some gear and try out the new dji system with this capable little guy. 4 min flight time is tolerable. I am more of an explorer than a racer. Ideas for getting 5-6 min flight times while keeping her fairly nimble? Thanks for all you do!
you could try JESC but its risky. its been known to gain up to a minute of extra flight time. but its also been known to burn escs. you could try an 850mah 4s but it could cause diminishing returns
youtube compression has more of an affect than many realise, i have two 32" tv's for my PC monitors which are running at just above 720p at 1360x768 but the difference in image quality on youtube if i select 4k, a res my screens are not set too is soooo clear to see! on youtube 720 is not 720, 1080 is not 1080 and 4k is not true 4k ether! anyone reading this with a screen that supports 1080 or lower, try it for yourself, pause this video on something like the houses and while paused switch between all of the resolutions, especially the ones your screen does not support and see the difference!
sure with I could afford to dump all my analog equipment and go digital but I'm going to keep flying my home built analog stuff till I win the lotto! :)

I couldnt get the lava x to fly nice with its strange frame so id go with the tyro
