thank you so much. I'm trying to learn on the go because I literally rescued my fish from a kid who tried to sold it in the streets, it was in terrible condition the bag that fish was in had little water and had a huge hole. somehow it didn't catch any disease thankfully and it's alright. I'm still new to fish keeping, and it's actually my first fish! so your video really helped! now I will watch him every day to make sure Darwin (fish name) will live happy and long life.
this can be my reference in keeping fish, because my fish are often sick, but now I have a solution after watching this video to the end, thank you for giving me an answer through this video..
You don’t need to see a vet for ich. It’s one of the easiest to treat. Raise the temp to 82 degrees, and use super ich treatment by API or another brand. I saved a fish from Petco that was COVERED in ich! I also saved a betta from Petsmart that had fin rot and velvet! You just need to be calm, do the water changes and medicate. For velvet, turn that light off and cover the tank with a blanket. Velvet can’t survive without light
Wow, thank you so much for making this video. I really appreciate the effort put into making this. I had no idea about almost all of these Fish Diseases, I have to keep a close eye on my goldfish.

The most common aquatic bacterial infections are caused by Aeromonas, Vibrio, Edwardsiella, Pseudomonas and Flavobacterium spp. There are also Mycobacterium spp. infections, commonly known as fish tuberculosis, which can potentially infect immune-compromised humans. This video is well explaining about the most common diseases and it is great knowledge sharing !!! Thank you !!!
Hi, thanks for great informative video, but what my goldfish has isn't on here, he has a bump on side of him with a black thing at bottom, I've let it go for years, just thinking it was a tumor, and doesn't seem to bother him, but it is getting quite large, and can't be comfortable
I wish I was able to cure my blue tang, lost her yesterday. She was down by the substrate and wouldn’t move as much, wouldn’t eat either. Tried to qt but didn’t make it and it was a short amount of time. I noticed last Friday and she lost the battle yesterday 😞
I also like keeping fish, and my fish often die.. maybe the way to deal with diseased fish is mine. I will try to apply the tricks in this video and I will try it.. I believe this video is the solution, thank you for the information, your video really helped me.
I've got a problem my tank has been running disease free from the start 6 years ago, recently I purchased some royal tetras SB. 2 out of the group were quite a bit smaller and are being bullied by the bigger ones. Now around 3 weeks later one of the smaller fish, from one day to the next developed a bright white spot on his body it looked like something was growing. by the next morning the white growth had fallen off. The next day a second spot appeared, the closest thing I could find online was fungus so i got medication, quarantined the fish and I am currently treating him. I just hope it truly is fungus and I'm using the right medication. Is there any disease that looks similar to a fungal infection?
White and fuzzy it would be fungus. If it’s silky or Greyish that could be something far worse like a bacterial infection. Was the fish injured? You did the test thing quarantining. Is the fish eating?
@@AquariumStoreDepot I couldn't see any visible injuries except for his tail fin, that was a bit nipped on by the bigger ones. I think the stress the others caused him might have contributed to the issue. He's also eating very well. These fish are like piranha when it's feeding time. What I've also noticed is that he isn't growing as well as the others. The treatment for now is finished and the white stuff is gone, I hope it doesn't return
Anchor worm survival is very less for a fish is what I experienced... even you have pulled them, their eggs are ij the fish and it would have already affected all other fishes
I don't know what but.. I saw a very long thick and thin white stringy poo in my fish tank. My chinese highfin tiger might have a disease. Tiger is the largest fish i have. Someone explain what might've happened to tiger, also my other fish (i moved to another tank) Bit tiger, Leaving a little scar behind, Maybe the disease/parasite etc. got in by the wound
Sounds like a swim bladder problem. If it’s a goldfish you can make a wheelchair for it. If you have a vet who is willing to treat fish it can be vented. I’ve vented saltwater wrasses myself (they are plagued with this issue when imported) - but it’s something you shouldn’t do on your own
My fish need help y'all please he 8 years old and got round white spots over his head region the scales are missing look like it's going down to his bones

Fish tumors do happen. Goldfish are actually one of the fish if they are large enough where a vet would treat. It sounds like a tumor to me
very helpfull tutorial, just amazing....

It could be hole in the head, but it's difficult to diagnose without a video or images.
What is wrong with my fish?
