Good Sir, I thank you for being one of the only creators Ive found that include beginner build and not just endgame in the planner AND walking us through it. Ppl seems to forget that the game is new and there are a lot of new players everyday
Some notes about this build: 1) For insane survivability, another option is to go for the block nodes to the left in the tree and use a 40%+ block chance shield. This means over 60% plus block total, to literally block anything including spells and projectiles. That's kinda insane tbh and worth considering. Those shields are quite cheap too and can get a really good one. Its a damage sacrifice but a decent one at that. 2) The local knowledge atlas node is very debatable tbh. Some of the top players actively avoid it. There is speculation in the community right now that it may actually reduce the chances of currency and getting divine orbs, on various map biomes. I guess we need to find out if that's true or not but its worth mentioning. This takes into account how chances were working in poe1. 3) After the economy going to sh1t, getting a really good wand and a spirit robe is actually way more expensive than expected. Its the same if you actually want high energy shield gear with very high resistances and high mana/intelligence. Even more so if hunting for the rarity chance increase which is broken rn. It is what it is, but having so many items listed with divines, and having many players never drop a single divine... well, kinda sucks for non-hardcore players. 4) Its also worth considering getting enough spirit at higher levels and going for a cast on shock build with lighning conduit or something, for insta-delete bossing and/or even critical shenanigans. Might be a bit expensive but maybe an amulet/robe/corrupted helm combo is easier to do, to get enough Spirit for this. 5) Finally, with weapon swap you can get all curse tree nodes on the sigil staff for conductivity, making it super powerful. Totally worth it. That's 17 nodes which you can alternate for 17 dmg nodes in the tree, for the main weapon swap. Its pure win.

I like a lot of your suggestions in the video, including how important max mana is in this build, mana % on kill, and getting enough mana regen to make it work. I am not completely sold on all those exposure/penetration nodes though, since the conductivity curse can become so ultra powerful with the weapon swap and the extra exposure from orb of storms. Maybe all that is more than enough? Will need to test that more. I do like the extra chance to shock and magnitude though, and getting extra jewels on that front is a tough task for sure. I like MoM a lot, however it does come with a penalty of 50% mana recovery which is kinda bonkers bad if you get it too early. I wonder how much ES/Mana/mana regen we must have ideally, before we make the swap to MoM/El.Batt and then CI. (And how viable that is with just a rare amulet instead of Evergaze. Honestly, EB does not seem viable without the Evergaze.) Maybe something like 3k each of ES/Mana and 400+ mana regen is the time to switch? Atziri's helm also has an insane interaction in terms of conversion btw for this build and it recently became a bit more expensive I believe.
@@Raxxanterax HOW you guys make more than 1 character into t15, im stuck with my ranger, everything i try to buy for upgrade its 17+ divines, meanwhile i have 50 exalts and 1 divine, it will take me 2 years to get those divines.
@@DARKCOP2011 search in exalts and sort by stat you most need. Basicly get best you can get. It is what it is. Im rerolling this myself. Had minion build up to t15, but clearspeed was just not there. Got overwhelmed by breaches etc.
@@DARKCOP2011 1st thing make sure you choose exalted orbs as the trading currency. 2nd if you haven't tried yet, use currency exchange to get more exalted orbs in exchange of other currencies you have like quality upgrades.
Just in time, raxx. I was smashing with a custom crafted build and I changed it to a similar spark build like this because I keep seeing this energy / 1 health full mana sorc. I’m mega struggling now through the campaign in act three , so again I say just in time thanks man.
After I bought the everlasting Gaze I used one of the endgame builds I founds online with that passive tree but I had an horrible experience, to the point that I wanted to quit playing or at least switch character but this video really saved my character 😊 My dps in the tooltip went from 3,7 to almost 10k and before I could barely do a tier 5 map and now I'm at 13 so I'm very happy! Thanks for the build and those amazing early build tips with the gems!

Raxx this might be a dumb suggestion, but when you were talking about Siphon, and then went into explaining how to see what each take as far as mats, and again im stupid and wasn't looking, but i thought you were showing the Siphon and not Piercing shot, so i got those things and was confused. AGAIN totally my fault, just thought sense its a guide for a certain build, just showing that exact skill. Also this is literally the best build guide I have found, thanks so much! I hope that didn't come across wrong!

Raxx, as always an excellent video, but I might recommend relooking at crit with spark again. Even at 9% with 6 - 14 bolts, depending on gem level, each hitting up to like 6+ times you can crit piety frequently and there are lots of nodes right next to the nodes you are already taking that add 40, 30, or 20 % dmg if you have crited in the last 8 seconds. Additionally, I recommend checking conductivity out instead of lightning pen because it can take resistance negative. You can buff the crap out of conductivity with the weapon set points when you swap to the staff because it counts as a curse. CaiptinLance 9 has some very through videos about this build too, all of these ideas come from him originally. Again, love the content easily the easiest to follow build guides around. Thanks
Hey Raxx, thx for the build, I used the unique bow and quiver from the other guy's build and I had a rough time always dieing, now with this it's a breeze. I have made some adjustements that I think you should include in this build. for the curse Conductivity, you put it on the weapon swap with the chming staff (set #2) and in the build you put the affected skill points for all curses nodes near the main build branch (you need to associate 20 pts so main weapon (wand set #1) and you take all the boosts to CURSE with set #2 so when you put the conductivity it's SUPER BUFFED. The buffs to curse you can get for absolutly free is INSANE. 165% increased duration and more effectiveness and perks as well. Not doing it would be a mistake in my opinion. . Also you can turn off Archmage on set #2 to add blink with a little bit of spirit on chest armor which can help fastening the pace in maps. . And finally, for flame wall I feel like hourglass is chopping too much damage and instead went for concentrated effect, honestly sparks just go through as much in the walls and it's a major dps increase on bosses cuz most of them are huge so it hits them pretty easily.

Thanks for acknowledging about your prior selection on spark verses having lesser gears. That's been my story and it has been very difficult to get the same results as published guides. I'm still in the same boat. It is very difficult to get good gears when you also have little currency. I'm getting there tho, but it will take time. Really appreciate the video, thanks again. I just reached endgame. The struggle starts all over again lol.
I rerolled my mercenary to spark since it looked cheap to acess and do tons of dmg. Such a shit fest he litteraly got destroyed and dont funktion at all.
I switched over to the giga Chad endgame version yesterday. I tried out the proj speed 5th support for spark and it felt good. I tried swapping for the 100% pierce gem and it helped a TON with clearing trash before getting swarmed. Super helpful for high mob density areas like breaches.
worst thing about stormweaver is that the class is paper as hell if you arent running a shield, sometimes you just get destroyed in rituals when you get stuck and they swarm you
Yeah don't even try rituals is my best decision made, not worth it on Sorc at all, especially if you are not Spark Sorc You can still finish maps, just don't start the rituals
I wish this game had a damage log or replay or something. I'll be chugging along on some juiced up map, then boom dead. And I can't tell what killed me... I also started Archmage with an Arc plan, which only took my to level 50 before I switched to Spark which took my to 72 when I got stuck, but using this build has helped me optimize my build some and now I'm clearing maps again. Rax, thanx for this, it plays much smoother (at least with my equipment) than variants from CapLance, but I still have a couple of questions :) 1. Why you have mobility in Flame wall? I can understand it in spark, but fw? 2. What do you think of Midnight Braid belt for MoM builds in general and this one in particular?
Was about to leave the game , I had rerolled my sorc 4 times with different builds after the ice sorc nerf , Sure people made some great builds but when you got to the end of the build you seen the gear was 6 divine orbs (being playing 200h and not one has dropped ) was able to copy your build with enough power to do t13 so thank you.

You are my fav content creator next to Mbx and the only one who makes builds that look good but also budget( no RF in poe:( ) I really dont care of insta killing builds that are 'THE BEST BUILD' then i check the body and it's 2 mirrors.... This is affordable for ppl having a limited amount of playtime as well. I will make a sorc, i kinda burnt out with my titan farming endless maps and not finding a single citadels in my 150 hours of playing PoE 2.
The conversion is intended. All conversions are done like this in poe2. Conversions also only work once. You cannot convert anything twice. Extra is also calculated after converted to.
If you find yourself dying a lot on this you can pick up an Atziris Disdain (1ex unique will bump your es up works with CI), also consider equipping a sheild and pathing to some block nodes over on the left of the tree. A shield with increased block chance on it and you can easily get yourself up to 50-70% block chance will make you SIGNIFICANTLY tankier against white mobs
Its crazy how many different ways there are of making spark stormweavers, almost everyone has a different passive tree, I have no idea which way is the best. Other builds focus on building shock magnitude and putting it in a lot of gems. Others have a lot more energy shield, because it also creates mana, which gives survivability and damage.
Hi, thanks for the video. One observation I make is this: why put energy shield points in the skills tree in general if the Convert (Eldritch battery) only considers the total energy shield flat given by the equipment? Increasing it in the skills tree both as a maximum and in its recharge and faster start characteristics, are not considered. Thanks in advance for any answers.
Thank you Raxx my previous build was similar but just a random one and little defence so i was getting really squished especially in breaches which enemiesnjust swarm you. This seems a nice one to continue. My cast speed is a little low at the moment due to gear affordability, are there any methods you used for breach with this spec? 🙂
Would love to see your spark damage; it's a pity you can't see it on the planner. For some reason, I am still stuck at 13K, and that is with level 19 skill gem.
All budget builds should currently be made with like 1-2ex per slot and with 3 ascendancy. This is what we are at shortly after clearing the map and doing couple lvl 1-3 map quests. I think that is a solid start.
I am using a similar build that uses lightning orbs and warp and frost wall, you can use warp on the balls and explosions everywhere, the ice wall to block pests from advancing and distracting them to go for extra explosion, not using any cast on anything just the ice shield. I am not at the endgame yet so let's see if it holds up or not.
BTW Raxx idk if you'll read this, but siphon + at least 20 mana on kill is godly on LA deadeye. You can just hold down LA on breaches or if mob density is high enough, be full mana perma, and never touch your mana pot. Makes T15+ breaches completely free even on my 15 fps doodoo computer. High Alert has huge dr if your base eva is already very high. Thanks for the guides! Top tier stuff as always.

I'm level 91 spark build but I appreciate this guide, this is how they're supposed to be made. One thing though, you said "more" is multiplicative, there's a node called Wild Storm but I take it it's not really beneficial for Spark, and more beneficial for Lightning Conduit?
Everyone I've heard mention it so far has said that penetration happens after the exposure and curses, so if you reduce their elemental resistance to 0, penetration isn't going to help anymore, unlike poe1. That's why I think most builds are running one or the other.
If that is true, then yes the pen nodes would lose a lot of value. If I’m being honest, I don’t know where it happens in the calculation. If GGG put pen last, then they’ve really hamstring that stat
@@Raxxanterax ah they designed it that way so it wouldn't feel comulsory to grab them all (and also so it's not so easy to lower resistances to negative on enemies). Since Sorc gets the ascendancy node to buff exposure, we would choose to invest in either a curse setup or a pen setup. The above commenter was correct though that pen now happens last. If you don't want to bother with a weapon swap setup (which is what captainlance does in his version of this build), then I think just going pen on the tree is fine.
I am building a DPS build for Stormweaver (early endgame) aiming to not be hit. Instead of energy shield I am using both mana and health to survive longer instead of becoming immune to chaos. Priorities are mana regen and critical hit/ damage, skill duration and cast speed. Just reached 4per second sparks. I picked up crit nodes and got my spark to 38% - 45% crit chance (OH focus +90% crit chance). I prioritized crit damage over chance. Just started my maps tier 4 quest, and still gearing up. Doing 11k dps unbuffed and very happy so far. Also, my spark is: cheaper mana cost, projectile & cast speed, Electrocute chance (so far). I really want +movement speed back in there or pierce again, but don’t really need it right now. Pierce helped clear even faster, just unnecessary.
I needed this pivot. I was getting so sick of individually clicking every single frozen enemy on screen to shatter them. Thank you. Edit: that want is absolutely ridiculous
I love how every POE 2 video I have watched over this holiday break has they Rhyyker D4 ad playing before it. If only Blizzard used that money and pettiness to ACTUALLY make that game better
Spark players are sleeping on Lightning Warp with Ball Lightning, currently only level 54 but it works a lot better than Flame Wall imo. The shocked ground is easy as shock application and the teleport/execute is really useful as well. I picked the double shock as my 2nd ascendency so it scales really well with magnitude of ailments in the passive tree.
Lol Rax, the amulet went to min. 1 Divine, it's less pain than Ingenuity after the other stormweaver build, it now sits at 20 Divine+. Either way might get my stormweaver out of the dusty corner of the cupboard and respec it, see if it can be fun again.

This build calls for support 2 gems which I haven’t seen yet. This IS NOT a levelling build. It’s more a mid to late game build.

I rerolled my mercenary to spark since it looked cheap to acess and do tons of dmg.

I switched over to the giga Chad endgame version yesterday. I tried out the proj speed 5th support for spark and it felt good. I tried swapping for the 100% pierce gem and it helped a TON with clearing trash before getting swarmed. Super helpful for high mob density areas like breaches.
worst thing about stormweaver is that the class is paper as hell if you arent running a shield, sometimes you just get destroyed in rituals when you get stuck and they swarm you
Yeah don't even try rituals is my best decision made, not worth it on Sorc at all, especially if you are not Spark Sorc
You can still finish maps, just don't start the rituals
mana tempest + spark and everything gets deleted in the ritual so its actually quite the opposite i would say.

I also started Archmage with an Arc plan, which only took my to level 50 before I switched to Spark which took my to 72 when I got stuck, but using this build has helped me optimize my build some and now I'm clearing maps again. Thanks!

1. Why you have mobility in Flame wall? I can understand it in spark, but fw?
2. What do you think of Midnight Braid belt for MoM builds in general and this one in particular?
Would love to know about the interaction of midnight braid as well. It's a good 50% dmg negated.
Was about to leave the game , I had rerolled my sorc 4 times with different builds after the ice sorc nerf , Sure people made some great builds but when you got to the end of the build you seen the gear was 6 divine orbs (being playing 200h and not one has dropped ) was able to copy your build with enough power to do t13 so thank you.
You can also put 2nd weapon passives on spell aoe for bigger sigil and curse
32:10 Mousing over the Mana recovery and holding down shift, you can see that it does indeed affect mana regen

You are my fav content creator next to Mbx and the only one who makes builds that look good but also budget( no RF in poe:( ) I really dont care of insta killing builds that are 'THE BEST BUILD' then i check the body and it's 2 mirrors.... This is affordable for ppl having a limited amount of playtime as well.
I will make a sorc, i kinda burnt out with my titan farming endless maps and not finding a single citadels in my 150 hours of playing PoE 2.
The conversion is intended. All conversions are done like this in poe2. Conversions also only work once. You cannot convert anything twice. Extra is also calculated after converted to.
If you find yourself dying a lot on this you can pick up an Atziris Disdain (1ex unique will bump your es up works with CI), also consider equipping a sheild and pathing to some block nodes over on the left of the tree. A shield with increased block chance on it and you can easily get yourself up to 50-70% block chance will make you SIGNIFICANTLY tankier against white mobs
Its crazy how many different ways there are of making spark stormweavers, almost everyone has a different passive tree, I have no idea which way is the best. Other builds focus on building shock magnitude and putting it in a lot of gems. Others have a lot more energy shield, because it also creates mana, which gives survivability and damage.

Hi, thanks for the video. One observation I make is this: why put energy shield points in the skills tree in general if the Convert (Eldritch battery) only considers the total energy shield flat given by the equipment? Increasing it in the skills tree both as a maximum and in its recharge and faster start characteristics, are not considered. Thanks in advance for any answers.

Thank you Raxx my previous build was similar but just a random one and little defence so i was getting really squished especially in breaches which enemiesnjust swarm you. This seems a nice one to continue. My cast speed is a little low at the moment due to gear affordability, are there any methods you used for breach with this spec? 🙂

All budget builds should currently be made with like 1-2ex per slot and with 3 ascendancy. This is what we are at shortly after clearing the map and doing couple lvl 1-3 map quests. I think that is a solid start.

I am using a similar build that uses lightning orbs and warp and frost wall, you can use warp on the balls and explosions everywhere, the ice wall to block pests from advancing and distracting them to go for extra explosion, not using any cast on anything just the ice shield. I am not at the endgame yet so let's see if it holds up or not.
I wish you could also make this more helpful like your earlier videos for level 30 players like include an “early” section
BTW Raxx idk if you'll read this, but siphon + at least 20 mana on kill is godly on LA deadeye. You can just hold down LA on breaches or if mob density is high enough, be full mana perma, and never touch your mana pot. Makes T15+ breaches completely free even on my 15 fps doodoo computer. High Alert has huge dr if your base eva is already very high. Thanks for the guides! Top tier stuff as always.

I'm level 91 spark build but I appreciate this guide, this is how they're supposed to be made. One thing though, you said "more" is multiplicative, there's a node called Wild Storm but I take it it's not really beneficial for Spark, and more beneficial for Lightning Conduit?

Pretty sad that only thing that scales to end game with Sorc is Archmage.
Everyone I've heard mention it so far has said that penetration happens after the exposure and curses, so if you reduce their elemental resistance to 0, penetration isn't going to help anymore, unlike poe1. That's why I think most builds are running one or the other.
If that is true, then yes the pen nodes would lose a lot of value. If I’m being honest, I don’t know where it happens in the calculation. If GGG put pen last, then they’ve really hamstring that stat
@@Raxxanterax ah they designed it that way so it wouldn't feel comulsory to grab them all (and also so it's not so easy to lower resistances to negative on enemies). Since Sorc gets the ascendancy node to buff exposure, we would choose to invest in either a curse setup or a pen setup. The above commenter was correct though that pen now happens last. If you don't want to bother with a weapon swap setup (which is what captainlance does in his version of this build), then I think just going pen on the tree is fine.

I am building a DPS build for
Stormweaver (early endgame) aiming to not be hit. Instead of energy shield I am using both mana and health to survive longer instead of becoming immune to chaos. Priorities are mana regen and critical hit/ damage, skill duration and cast speed. Just reached 4per second sparks.
I picked up crit nodes and got my spark to 38% - 45% crit chance (OH focus +90% crit chance).
I prioritized crit damage over chance. Just started my maps tier 4 quest, and still gearing up. Doing 11k dps unbuffed and very happy so far.
Also, my spark is: cheaper mana cost, projectile & cast speed, Electrocute chance (so far). I really want +movement speed back in there or pierce again, but don’t really need it right now. Pierce helped clear even faster, just unnecessary.
my spark sorc for leveling has been great for everything but bosses/elites. I cant get past the juggernaut now without co-op.
Do you have a leveling guide for the Spark Sorc? Just used your Ranger leveling build that went right into the End game build.

Hey dude, should I be doing every map node or just making my way to each tower and boss?
Spark players are sleeping on Lightning Warp with Ball Lightning, currently only level 54 but it works a lot better than Flame Wall imo. The shocked ground is easy as shock application and the teleport/execute is really useful as well. I picked the double shock as my 2nd ascendency so it scales really well with magnitude of ailments in the passive tree.
Lol Rax, the amulet went to min. 1 Divine, it's less pain than Ingenuity after the other stormweaver build, it now sits at 20 Divine+. Either way might get my stormweaver out of the dusty corner of the cupboard and respec it, see if it can be fun again.
If you filter it to show only exalted, they are within the range of 30ex for low rolled ones.
