Nice find! My opinion - I'd bail on that 2.4L block and get yourself and unopened 2.0L. Unless you plan on pushing over 450WHP, this will save you some headaches. The OEM red paint always fades, you'd be amazed at how much a simply buff and wax can help though. The heater control assembly can be found on ebay or Facebook FS groups. But, when you find one, don't forget to change out the control wire and gears that we're the actual cause of the issue. I have a how-to of this on my channel... and many others. Good Luck!
I'll probably keep the 4g64 until it blows. it has alot of internal work done already so we will see how it goes but if there is any problems ill go back to the 4g63
No it’s not, it’s an evolution. I’ve had it 2 years now and had it completely torn down and rebuilt. This has a whole different body set up than a standard lancer but I appreciate you watching my back
