I think that Miraidon and Koraidon should be under Dialga’s care. It’s primarily because one stands for the past, while the other stands for the future. And who controls the past and the future? Dialga, the Pokémon of time.

Cyclizar is basically the present form of both koraidon and miraidon so it makes sense that koraidon is the past where it's fighting style thrived at meanwhile miraidon is a more futuristic manmade (like paradox Pokemon basically) but miraidon thrived at being a strong special Pokemon that uses the electrical powers against even the mightiest opponent. It makes me think if at some point when there's a dlc for the game, would these Pokemon come face to face with themselves freely and if so how would they react as we know despite them being boxart legends koraidon and miraidon are said to have multiple of them which is definitely unheard of but isn't far off from other legends(if you think about it there's multiple of every legend they are just incredibly rare hence the legend title).
I always figured the Future Paradox Pokémon were techno-organic in nature. Like, they look totally mechanical on the surface, and certainly have mechanical components incorporated into their biology, but they are living creatures with thoughts and feelings, who require food, sleep, and love like any other.
It could have been a very best idea to put genesect in violet version and its original past form in scarlet . We could have gotten the original form of genesect . The theme was so perfect to fit it .

Miraidon being man made could be a nice twist! The Professors studying lore, though - and it usually being connected to the legendaries - it makes me feel like Miraidon is, somehow, natural and old. Which is also very weird, honestly. I think that, despite our lack of info about the game, this new pair of Legends is one of the most intriguing we've had in a while! Also, we have a very similar idea to what's happening in this game, but we're drawing different conclusions! I don't think it is time travel!
Dont forget that in Japanese folklore Objects even Machines when they get treated well and get love can have a Soul after around 100 Years. So Miraidon could be a Machine that was loved get a Soul and became the very first Machine Pokemon who lives.
They have name puns, korai meaning past and mirai meaning future, that is also shown in their design, i think we're dealing with some time travel shenanigans as you said
I reconize miraidon from Nexomon, mostly luxa with a few differences: this boi got wheels, this thing... is not a boi... its a lizard. Still, they both have.. purple, have a lot of electricity stuff.. then koraidon is just a cool red lizard. I like both, but if I have to chose I am gonna say "wait till it's out, see a few people play up until the first gym, and then end up picking both because they were both amazing" like I do with all the games.
theory: koridon was a pokemon that was created by a group of ancient deities from cyclzer for protection of ancient grounds and miraidon was made near the time of PLA from parts found in rifts and then its soul was constructed using the same thing as magerna (it does show emotion (spoiler) it helps you escape a wild houndoom and it does encourage the tontos (hope i spelled it right) son (forgot his name) to join the group as they go on a longer path home) and was made to guard villages and when the ancient people died and a new generation came and the new people were scared of miraidon as it wasn’t needed for protection as villages and clans were in an era of peace so it was locked in a mode where it was slashed from using its powers and could only traverse the lands of paldea (the mode is the mount of miraidon)
Not a big fan of the idea that Miraidon is manmade.. I think it really looks cool but I prefer Pokemon that are natural. Something completely created by man is not really alive imo. A robot for example might be able to interpret and show emotion, but it's never the same as something that developed naturally.
Just looked at the release date of the video and I am obviously using information you didn't have at the time, but I even than I had the theory that both might be artificially created, just by different means.

I'm thinking more one professor wants to bring back the past and the other wants to build for the future - so they bring back/make the opposite pokemon of the game you buy and you the player have to use the other legendary to stop the legendary and the evil professor

Maybe we will get it's ancient form, unless it is Kabutops or Golisopod. -Miraidon could be one of the RFs mentioned in the leaks. -I feel like PorygonZ was a RF, we should see a Porygon3. -Fossil pokemon... including Mewtwo, are all half RFs... since they aren't the full version of the ancient form. Also, Miraidon technically can show emotion, through emoticons...
Maridon may be biomechanical it has a mind and feelings but cant show via expression due to it's pesudo-mechanical body either lacking the muscle connections required or just doesn't want to show them due to it's cold nature and koridon smirk could just be because of its natural or maridon could just be the future variant of koridon
I had a theory relating to legends arceus and pokemon scarlet and violet. Iv been thinking these 3 games are the beginning of a new pokemon timeline separate from the original timeline and the mega timeline, a more unstable timeline with these spacetime rifts and beings like dialga and palkia possibly retaining their origin forms. The player character from legends arceus was taken out of their own space and time and thrown into this new one, and it looks like pokemon from that game will be returning in scarlet and violet.
Perhaps one is a Pokemon that came through the rifts from somewhere deep deep in the region's past. And the other is one from far far far into the region's future. Maybe the scientists are wanting to discover it because they believe one of them is the key to making the world better. Maybe it's even the same Pokemon, millions or billions of years apart. It could be some sort of time travel paradox that is causing disturbances related to these guys. Because of they are the same Pokemon from years into the future and years into the past, they aren't supposed to be there at the same time. This paradox could be the danger that the region is facing that has to be solved. Makes me think how dialga and palkia fit into the theme of space-time in this generation.

Honestly I think using terastal energy to fuel it would be a much more logical explanation as the creators would not need as sophisticated equipment because you know sucking life energy out of shit probably needs super advanced tech. Unless it was made in the Future of course which is very possible.
