So last 2 games. Sword and shield and scarlet and violet, the main cause of the gimmick is caused by an alien from space. Wonder it'll be the same for gen 10. But I hope they change it up like, oh a pokemon has been dormant under earth for millions of years and have awaken again, thus causing gen 10 gimmick
Find Pokemon entirely responsible for the tera crystallizations covering trees and stones and floating in the wind deep in this Annihilation crater no one's supposed to be in, whose power is SO immense that it helped a professor build a freaking time machine and every Pokemon in the region and any Pokemon outside the region but near its crystals can tap into its power. Juliana: "We should be e x t r e m e l y careful around that thi--" Briar & Kieran: "LET'S PISS IT OFF!!!"
Since I’m here after legends ZA was announced, and a theory I heard somewhere else, I have some interesting perspective. The theory is the mega evolution is actually powered by terastal energy, but different and weaker in some aspects due to the distance kalos is from the center of paldea. It makes me wonder if in the new legends game we are gonna get more lore on mega evolution or not. But if the theory is true, then terastal energy has already begun to escape and influence other parts of the world like kalos and hoenn
This the first time I see a Theory that actually takes everything in account we got in the games. Therefor I am quit surprised it didn't got more views. But still I got some Inconsistencies that I would like to report on. .First of I don't understand why you are framing the spread of Terastallization as a bad thing. Unlike with Mega Evolution, the Pokèmon don't seem be negatively affected by the Terastallization. The only time we see something being harmed by it, is with the trees in Area Zero. .Secondly I think the assumption that Terapagos is spreading the Terastallization on purpose is a little bit far fetched. The only time Terapagos actually attacks someone is at the end of the story and you could definitely say that it only did this to defend itself. Terapagos even helps the player and the professor when you bring it to the Crystal pond in Kitakami by letting them ask each other questions. It could ever simply be that it is not aware of the spread beyond its cave (after all it is locked up in the cave and only "telepathically" talks to people who do get very close to it in Area Zero) or it could be that Terapagos is not actually the source of the Terastallization and the spreading Terastallization just came with it in the proposed meteorite you talked about. Also the Pokedex claims that it lived in the prehistoric Paldea and was driven to near extinction doe to changes in the tectonic plates. This implies that there have once been multiple Terapagos all over the region. And if we take this into account we can also involve the "Ultimate weapon-Theory". Because, if Terapagos was just a normal Pokèmon that lived deep underground the "change in tectonic plates" could have actually been the impact of the weapon which also created the crater. It was also the weapon that created Mega Evolution. So it could be that it also created the Terastallization and somehow influenced Terapagos. .Third of all you din't gave an explanation for the two strange symbols that can be found in Area Zero. Sure the big one carved into the ground might be a ritual to keep the dangerous Pokèmon trapped in Area Zero. But then who made this symbol? Was it the Research team. I don't think so! Science-people don't usually use magic. And there are no signs that humans have ever lived here. The game states that it is inhospitable. Heck! Area Zero is the only region in Paldea where we don't find ancient ruins! Also that doesn't explain the other symbol found on the metal plate. It could not be placed by the professor Turo/Sada because the plate shows up in Heaths book. So where do both symbols come from? They have to come from somewhere. .Lastly I am disappointed you didn't mention the Glimmet-line at all. Glimmoras Pokedex entry states that its CRYSTALLIZATION ability is similar to Terastallization AND it spawns more frequently in the depths of Area Zero AND near the crystal pool. There gotta be a connection here! Don't get me wrong. I appreciate the work you put into these videos. This is not something I would aspect from such a small channel. BIG respect to you. The fact that your video is so well recherched is the reason I am pointing out the few loopholes there are. Because your videos are the only theories I could find where I couldn't directly tell why they where wrong. The rest was either made before the DLC came out or just left big parts unexplained. You are also the only one that could give a good explanation for the tree in the depths. Thank you for this amazing video. You have earned way more attention for such good videos.
With all this talk about crystals I hope Diancie has some kind of reference to all this in Legends A-Z. I guess terrastalising won’t be back if Megas return or will it?
If black and white remakes happen what if instead of mega pokemon its terrastal pokemon with terrastal Zekrom and Terrastal Reshiram and terrastal energy will help Kyrum achieve its origin form but different like if bw remakes happen but also legends unova the Origin form of Kyrum would look different
I actually think the "6th" herba mystica, is kind of an unimplemented feature, there are some foods you can get that provide a typeless buff (like sparkling power for all types) and i think they were going to make them cookable with the new herba mystica, and they just decided it would be too strong.
I know this is unlikely but hear me out we will get a 3rd game and the ball in the tereum looks like there is a giant dormant terapagos so my thing is in the 3rd game you fight a titan terapagos in 19 rounds each for every Tera type and in the end you catch it and send it to its home land
@@LoreKeeperVG that’s true but the more it becomes known the more likely they might be sinister groups wanting to harness the power. Idk. I just think that if there’s a pokemon as powerful as terapagos then people may wanna harness its power for evil reasons. Which could lead to whole region being exposed to terra crystals.
It also comes down to the armament issue. Say what you will about pokemon not being realistic or dark enough for this, but each region is basically its own nation. Trainers are it's soldiers and we have obvious military rank parrelles in gym leaders, elite 4, and the champions. Since gen 6 we saw through gimmicks an arms race. Mega's are arguably the most versatile and easily stolen but arguably give the least boost to the military force of the country. Both Dynamax and Z-moves seem to pull power for the environment, limiting their number of uses or use entirely out of the region... defensive tools rather than offensive. Terastalization followed the same route as the previous 2 generations, but now we have confirmation that the effect can be replicated in other regions and rapidly if needed. That means we now have a military power enhancer that can widely be used and can easily be spread. We saw some forms of armament spread in gen 4 with the newly created evolution items for gen 2 pokemon. Yes, it was for balancing, but in lore, it is just an attempt to make your potential forces stronger.
Just saying, i REALLY doubt Terapagos is from space, the Stellar type was named by Sada/Turo and was probably a pun with Tera, since in japanese, the type is named SuTERA, besides, Tera Starstorm is also just a name, which has nothing to do with the original, japanese name, Tera Cluster, besides that move is just shaped like stars, they're bombs made of Tera crystals, about Heath's sketch... That's nothing... Heath has no rights to say that was indeed what he saw, what we know is that he described Terapagos as a planet floating in space, which CLEARLY is not the case. Now one last thing, if you didn't know Terapagos lived in ancient Paldea in numerous numbers, before seismic shifts brought the species to almost extinction, except for the little one sleeping in Area Zero, but yeah i agree with most of the video, but the "turtle from space" part, that's CLEARLY wrong, thanks for who read this fanboy speaking nonstop, have a good day!
@sergioricardosan You have the right for an opinion, but you can't say he is wrong. Without you bringing a reasonable explanation and evidence to back it up, because opinions re not facts. Since when Heath has no right express he's opinions He can, Is like me saying, we'll you can't call a cat, when I didn't t see the animal first hand.

This region reeks of lost potential, and lore of the terastal phenomenon & Terapagos being locked away to post-game & DLC content as per tradition for mainline games exasperates this issue. Also, it's not all that spanish either, especially with a bunch of random chinese myth-inspired legendaries scattered around the place. I'm not asking GF to go Blasphemous-levels of faithfulness on this region, but at least try making something other than a circle with N64-level grass & trees randomly scattered about. Maybe it was because Zygarde represents order and balance, and Xatu is known to see the terrible things that will happen in the future?
Both are Pokemon on the antagonists’ team in Pokemon Horizons-my theory was that the roles of antagonist and protagonist were switched.
"Terapagos' house" bruh i spat out my soda. It is true yet I didn't expect it. it made me think about Briar and co opening a crystal door instead of going through a hole.
Amazing video dude holy cow
Thank you so much! :)
So last 2 games. Sword and shield and scarlet and violet, the main cause of the gimmick is caused by an alien from space. Wonder it'll be the same for gen 10. But I hope they change it up like, oh a pokemon has been dormant under earth for millions of years and have awaken again, thus causing gen 10 gimmick
what a shame pokemon is digivolving old pokemon
Find Pokemon entirely responsible for the tera crystallizations covering trees and stones and floating in the wind deep in this Annihilation crater no one's supposed to be in, whose power is SO immense that it helped a professor build a freaking time machine and every Pokemon in the region and any Pokemon outside the region but near its crystals can tap into its power.
Juliana: "We should be e x t r e m e l y careful around that thi--"
Briar & Kieran: "LET'S PISS IT OFF!!!"
Quite literally saw this and this convinced me to finally finish the dlc so i could understand everything (and also get to the silly dlc epilogue)
Hope you at least enjoyed it :)
Crystal Apocalypse? You mean like in the third movie?
Hold on, this is [Darkest Dungeon: The Color of Madness]'s interpretation of [H.P. Lovecraft]'s [The Colour out of Space] in Pokemon!
14:26 😂
🛫
Interestingly Carbink can be found in the depths under area zero
It will be a new story with a new mechanic,
It may reference some stuff from other games.
Oh wow. This is actually scary
I know this is unlikely but hear me out we will get a 3rd game and the ball in the tereum looks like there is a giant dormant terapagos so my thing is in the 3rd game you fight a titan terapagos in 19 rounds each for every Tera type and in the end you catch it and send it to its home land
I’m halfway through the video but couldn’t we also see more crystals being moved to other regions?
Not as far as I know. The only person interested in replicating the Terastal Phenomenon outside of Paldea was Briar.
@IamPotion
They why ren't they mention
Even if they rushed the game, it had to kept a coherent story.
@@AgnesBooth-zu7tw its story isn’t coherent at all. Modern pokemon games are almost never coherent.
My crystal pool theory, is that the human only had a small amount of crystals, and put them in the pool to let them grow enough to make the masks.
Question is why?!?
@@AgnesBooth-zu7tw why what?
BRIAR!!!!! What have you done.
Oh there was a surprise. There was a surpriiiiiiiiiiiiiisssseeee... (wakes up) MOCHI MOCHI!!!
If the Gen 5 remakes don't bring back terastallization in actual Unova, because of Briar, if they're a sequel to BW/BW2 and SV, I'm gonna riot.
Stop. Saying. Nonesense.
Came from Game theory's vid, are you really the guy that appeared in Ending #1?
Who? Scott Cawthon? lol
@@LoreKeeperVG oh, thought that was you lmao. since the ending was called the "Lore Keeper" Ending plus you sounded pretty similar to him
Just saying, i REALLY doubt Terapagos is from space, the Stellar type was named by Sada/Turo and was probably a pun with Tera, since in japanese, the type is named SuTERA, besides, Tera Starstorm is also just a name, which has nothing to do with the original, japanese name, Tera Cluster, besides that move is just shaped like stars, they're bombs made of Tera crystals, about Heath's sketch...
I have a short talking about the Sutera thing
Well alright then, it's my interpretation of the name anyway
@sergioricardosan
You have the right for an opinion, but you can't say he is wrong. Without you bringing a reasonable explanation and evidence to back it up, because opinions re not facts.
Since when Heath has no right express he's opinions
He can,
Is like me saying, we'll you can't call a cat, when I didn't t see the animal first hand.
Can't wait to see how the Manga handle this in the future lol
Wait what if someone ate the crystals
Nah.
@@AgnesBooth-zu7twalso what if the next kanto game for the anniversary is a sequel with Terrastal energy being brought to Kanto
Why is Briar so crazy
Its only dissapointing to you eith the ogerpon stuff bc u didnt listen when they said the ogerpon storyline other than with pecharunt was over indigo disk wasnt supposed to have anything to do with teal mask i love this game i replayed it a 100 times its the cleanest and realest pokemon has been so far im not saying all elements are the best but most are the best only thing wrong w the game is the glitches and i dont wven get glitches i use to on top of water now i dont the graphics are nice compared to old pokemon games idk what everybody is tripping about i think theyre just conparing them to other franchises bc pokemon was nvr known for graphics its just alot of people complaining bc they see other people complain most of the time
I think it depends on area
This region reeks of lost potential, and lore of the terastal phenomenon & Terapagos being locked away to post-game & DLC content as per tradition for mainline games exasperates this issue.
Also, it's not all that spanish either, especially with a bunch of random chinese myth-inspired legendaries scattered around the place. I'm not asking GF to go Blasphemous-levels of faithfulness on this region, but at least try making something other than a circle with N64-level grass & trees randomly scattered about. Also, random desert.
Bro terapagos only crystalized its home what did he do to you 💀
You haven't seen the first video, have you?
Can we have bad guy there IS NOT HUMAN. Can It BE A POKEMON
AS BAD GUY
I'm more a Digimon fan but WHY ever seen Gen 1 with Mewtwo there is no per say "Bad" pokemon. Look I know Gen 1 big bad IS Giovanni. But mew2 is not "Friend" with us either
We have Eternatus
For God so loved the world he gaved his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but eternal life John 3:16
Oh, so AZ
Don't like when people trying to covert other people with their faith they should keep them to themselves .
I’ll keep saying this in every video I see the disclaimer. There are no “SPOILERS” in Pokémon, the experience is already ruined by the performance. There’s nothing a story can do to improve my enjoyment of the game lol
I don't think that has nothing to do with story spoilers tbh, and it's more about respect to other people than any other thing
@@LoreKeeperVG lmao to each their own. The game was already spoiled for me when I had to suffer through the poorly optimized performance, no amount of end game story could fix that 😂
@@TrvisXXIII I hate that i agree. The game didnt deserve the Story or world builder of Paldea. one of the better stories and characters held ransom by one of the worst performing and designed games second to SWSH.
Funny how I never encounter a game braking bu on my first playtrough, but in my 4, I had very wroe glitches happening, including the camara angle being fixed
The game was rush and uncompleted, but I love it anyways
Guess it all depends on what people wants.
One of the worst games ever
I was ready to rate it one of my favorite pokémon games. Maybe even my favorite. It was the DLC that ruined it lol
I mean, I kinda like the game (despite some blatant issues)
@@derekosgood3230it was the other way round for me. The base game felt like a chore with the whole star road thing while I loved the dlc characters, music, enivonrments etc. kind of like sw sh
@@natural8677 Well yeah I wasn't a fan of team star. That was the only aspect of the base game that I wasn't big on. I loved the base game as a whole though. DLC not really.
Comical. It’s a kids game.
It is, but that doesn't mean it can't have things for everyone. Especially if they're outside the main storyline.
There are many things in Pokémon games that a child won't understand, but you and I do.
(And we have already seen far worse things than a Crystal Apocalypse lol)
@@LoreKeeperVG well said.
And now things get way more serious 😓
Waaaaaaay more serious
