Looks pretty good, i hope when mods come out someone makes a mod that adds more grass, rocks, trees, etc. to the terrain to make the map seem less empty.
I'd just take something to make the Shrine look more vibrant, I always hated that the color palette of it is diarrhea brwn/puke green.
Yeah, I really enjoyed Rise on my Switch but it’s nowhere near as atmospheric as World. They had to sacrifice alot to bring this game to Switch.
I’m going to get the Rise expansion but I’m looking more forward to the new MH developed for PC and current gen consoles.

They the pervasive emptiness and faded look actively detracts from the game in my opinion. Even leaving comparisons to World aside, it often doesn't hold up compared to other ambitious Switch games.
Playing the steam DEMO with my 3080TI on 4k 120p now. Will go for the PC version for sure.

@@edin4912 End game gear in MHW had full stun immunity, so a lot of us got used to being thrown around like hackey sacks and getting up no problem, now that that's gone...

There’s some wonkiness with the cloth physics on the Palamute’s tail. I wonder if they’ll iron that out for release.
@Nuffsed No MH fan would complain if this was an actual PC release. The only people who complain about how Rise looks are normies who only played MHW and are not fans of the franchise to begin with. Get lost.
@Nuffsed those textures originally came from switch, what they did here is to upscale those existing textures to make it look good on pc, and they actually did a good job in doing it for 4k since those textures were originally made for 720p and 1080p.
so expecting a texture originally from a 720p hardware to look like world's graphics in pc is a bit too much. if it was originally made for consoles like ps4/5 then it might be like that to world's but no.
and what do you mean by 2021? it came from switch and it look good on switch in 2021, remember that it is a port not an overhaul for a new IP for pc.

As a guy who fell in love with MH in world even I have to admit rise pc looks good. A nice blend of the classic look with that world level of detail on stuff. Can't wait to play it!

Switch version of rise was really beatifull but wow in 4K with 60fps this is as impressiv as the run
Overall, I enjoy seeing the higher res textures and higher frame rate.
Comparing the graphics from PC Rise to MHW/Iceborne, in my opinion, not a solid comparison just because both games have their unique art style. And both should be appreciated for how well they look.
This is, to be honest, the best of both worlds, of the realistic style of MHW and the classic style of past Monster Hunter games.
Can't wait for this to come out, and hunt with more friends!
Also hopefully the "port" of Rise to PC is solid.
I hope it has good hdr. I just recently enabled hdr in world and it looks amazing. Like teostra's and lunastra's fire looks like real fire.
Comparing switch rise to mhw, it definitely doesn't look as good. Now with the pc port, it's obvious that it's not because of the artstyle but because of the resolution and fps limit of the switch. It just looks as good as mhw now. The artstyle of rise doesn't limit the quality/realism of the graphics. It's different than mhw but both looks really good
rise's graphics is not an art style.. it's just a nintendo switch graphics, don't try to justify it lmao
@@marcoleung7253 it doesn't look as good as mhw. Foliage for example. Not saying I expect it to, it was built with switch limitations in mind, so reworking everything would be alot of work to ask for

Even thought I still played it on the Switch the 30FPS really drove me away from MHR very quickly. Hopefully I'll be able to enjoy a much higher FPS on PC where I know I can get above 144 constantly.
i'm the exact same, I managed 100 hours on the switch, I couldn't think of fighting valxtrax at 30 frames lmao
@@a1dvn Yeah I think I logged about 180 hours or so to the thanks of some friends but I strongly believe that any game that doesn't run 60 FPS at least isn't worth my time even if it is a fun game.

At some point i start feeling motion sickness, when you constantly run 144hz monitors on your pc and then drop down to 30 on the switch you really feel the hit on action games

Peppo, u probably won’t see this but can you make more full set videos like your violet Mitzune video? If this was with the magalgamo armour (I don’t think it is) it would be rlly cool to see what decorations where used (also mixed sets always need loads of grinding and rare materials

Unfortunately the hit lag is severe as the Switch version. I hope Capcom will consider lower it or simply remove it like it was in Iceborne.
While u guys are complaining and arguing about mhworld being and has better realistic graphics and shit, imma go and play this game because games are suppose to be fun and this game is fun. Clutch claw is not fun
Overall world/iceborne is a much better game not just in terms of graphics but also monster design and as a hbg main especially ammo swapping etc (just awful in rise). but i do agree that even tho rise is imo inferior to world is does have its charm especially through the wirebugs possibilities of exploring the maps and the implementation of endemic life into fights. another good thing about rise i guess is the low loading times for players without a good ssd. some friends of mine hat huge problems with that in world
@@tristanjonas6343i like your points, but monster design wise, i kinda disagree since almost every monster in world/iceborne is wyverns. Theres not a single carapceon or leviathans in sight sooo yeah. Hunting simulation wise and end game grind world beats rise. But holy shit i really dislike the clutch claw mechanic. It became not a tool to help you but a necessity to constantly be tenderizing the monster.(back then pre iceborne clutch claw didnt had that shaver jewel so it was really annoying/hassle . Not to mention that it forces monsters to be in a weird drooling trance state because of this mechanic. Clutch claw became better after they added shaver jewel but it came a tad bit late(during the last monster update, fatalis)
@@Syahburei Well yes i do agreed that the varieties of Monster species is narrowed down to wyvern and pelagus beasts but with Monster Design i meant how unique certain Monsters are in their behaviour and appearance/moveset. In rise i feel Most Monsters are refurbished old ones with Just little originality. And yes wirebug and No tenderizing is much more comfortable during hunts and i really Like that they Put old mh freedom weapons Back in the game

Graphics looks better frame rate is amazing but rise on switch still looks rly good and runs wierdly well for switch. No cross save = not interest in buying pc version(until moders add naked twins) so yeah.

The feeling is great. Playing Rise in 120fps with high texture resolution after playing for so much Rise in Switch is such a blessing. It might not be clear just from watching the video, but believe me I think it’s totally worth it to buy the PC version.
