- A ton of mistakes but sub10 is sub10, I took it. Improvable for sure but too much RNG to deal with, not worth the time to grind it for.

@@raulruiz6220 Because you're forced to hit one body part the whole fight. Just look at this run. If I want to hit the other leg I have to lose 20% affinity and 24% damage (HZV is 50, when tenderized it becomes 62).

@@raulruiz6220 Yeah, this mechanic just made hunts more monotonous. Without it, Iceborne would have been better, I'm sure about that.

That's a completely optional endgame challenge done right.
Games rarely get to get away with that these days, because people feel if they spend 60 bucks on a game, it should be developed in such a way that they can play every part of it, and no part should be inaccessible or difficult to complete due to a lack of skill or ability.
With some dedication, yeah you could beat Behemoth in base game...It took me more than 50 try for my 1st solo kill of Behemoth in base game. It felt so rewarding...
@@chikanotoko3092 I tried soloing it first time and got his 2nd stage and lost.
@@Twisted_Feet 2nd and last stage are the most dangerous phase. Thx to hectic thx to Charybdis. Its fine to be defeated at 2nd stage. Too bad, Iceborne didn't have that kind of challenge until the end. I know people hate Siege/MMO mechanics and the forced 4P difficulty mechanics, but still...

The shear amount of practice to perfect dodge the attacks is incredible. The sad face emote when the monster’s cry canceled out your helm splitter, I felt that.

Glad to have seen it live, so I'll say it again, just like I did when you were streaming it: the foresight slash behind the comet to avoid the nova AND the tornado @04:25 proves just how good you are with the LS. It's not just memorizing enemy movesets and timings, but really good thinking, too (as I doubt you can practice that too much beforehand). Way to go, Pep! Looking forward for your next stream!

Swear they be doin it on purpose to any final max damage combos 😭 charge blade mains can relate with the SAED, hammer with Big Bang, and Great Sword with the final lift of the two piece combo.
Man I just remember doing this on release with randoms, after so many tries we got a dual sword user who was a beast, he tanked the thing like it was nothing and didnt get hit once! And at the end when we had only 1 cart left, when Ex Behemoth summons the final meteor, instead of hiding behind the rocks, he pulls off the chadest of moves, he just uses the dragoon emote to dodge it like it was nothing The guy was MHW version of Let Me Solo Her for the EX Behemoth

You have taught me that foresight slash has Iframes good enough to dodge monster roars and can be followed up with a roundhouse slash... I did not know this and now realize that I have been using a mere fraction of the true power of the longsword, thank you.

I find it disappointing that we can even say "all the supernovas", back in 4U when the teostra supernova was introduced it was his attack. Now it’s like capcom went way too trigger happy with the concept...

I'm of the opinion that he is still harder than any other monster introduced in base game or iceborne. Sure you can trip him constantly with enough damage but for certain weapons this guy is just giant pain in the ass. Longsword is a great match up against him because his relatively obvious tells.
