simple keep repeating until u master ur weapon and enemy movement
When you fight for the first time a monster just keep dodging and look at its moves, they to understand its openings.
Don't be too aggressive at first, attack ONLY when you have the big openings, once you understand how long it takes to do attack with your weapon, how fast can your roll go, how long the window lasts, then you can start to be more aggressive.
Chose Greatsword and stick with it until you feel confortable, it's not the easiest one to learn, but it's the best FOR learning.
Forget all the charged attacks and combos at first, use only the sheat attack, once you feel more confortable, add the charges, once you feel very confortable, add the combos/change weapon.
Once it clicks and learn the timings, it's only a matter of knowing the monsters' attack patterns, just keep fighting them until you win.
If you can, emulate p3rd, it's the best for entering because has very early Bulldrome:
Bulldrome is by far the best monster to learn.
It has two attacks: one is a chip damage combo block (wich we ignore for now) and a charge.
Bulldrome charge is made for teaching you how to play, its windup lasts EXACTLY like a Greatsword attack and dodge for getting away safe (+ getting close to it), it's really good for learning the timing.

It's not empty, I fill the bar with that Spirit Blade I before using Foresight Slash.
@@PeppoLS well, i knew foresight without spirit don't work but it does gain spirit if you hit back, but i didn't know Spirit Blade 1 regains spirit if you hit it and you don't have any.
seems that not only me playing the demo more than most of the games I ever played lol! well well done!
btw, I'd like to ask whether you can iai that dust at 3:50 - 3:51? I sometimes would get hit even I iai-ed successfully.
You press it right after you hear the explosion. You also need to be standing by the dust, and not close to it's stomach.
@@francisryangonzales6201 I'm aware of that. I'm pretty sure I iaied the dust successfully. Try that yourself, you'll see what I mean.
@@babyplatypus27 I don't have a hard time iai slashing that move. The only time I fail to iai it is when I get too close to the stomach. You pretty much iai'd the dust and hit either the stomach or the head when he comes back to all fours.
