I watch you from Australia! Your demands on yourself and your art, define your integrity. Stay with who you are. Not all people you are commissioned by, see and feel what you do. Us… Joe Public , aren’t on your level on understanding. We don’t see with your eyes…. UNTIL…. what you create, is revealed on completion. But we love the ride. You expressing your thoughts, imagination, interpretation, appreciation of what is in your world, is a gift to us mere mortals. If you are happy… we are. Because what YOU see, you paint. We don’t see it till after you have painted it. The details, and ambiance and even the scent of the area you are in, comes to life for us. Bless you. And thanks. 👍❤️
What an inspiration! Yes I think there comes a point when you can think yourself to a standstill. After not painting for so long, I gingerly tried to relearn as much as I could, and was very hesitant, then after watching you I finally, said, just go for it and enjoy it! Your inspiration! Oh, yes, a favourite piece of music too, whatever is it? So many thanks.
So glad you persevered and worked out the frustrations on another canvas, and then return to original piece. I found myself cheering you on secretly, knowing it was going to be another amazing work, proving to your self yet again, but certainly not necessary your amazing vision, and ability. Great job
When you started the second painting and you had paint running down the canvas and started putting blobs of paint on.. I said, "there ya go" :) you do such good work. And they wouldn't have asked you to do a painting for them if they didn't like your art. Do you, baby! We all love it!!!! I wish so badly I could paint like that... maybe I will try it sometime. Lol I paint very meticulous and clean... that is just my personality coming out.. but I love your art!! Thank you for all your videos! I love them all!! ❤
Lmao great show ! Turner,I loved what you did, sharing your frustrations ! You are true to yourself and it shows in your art man . I imaging Van Gough being that way ? Love your energy bud !keep on keeping on ,lol
Good for you Turner for being true to who you really are in the way you paint. That person asked for a comission from you, because they love your paintings and wanted you on that canvas not the other artists. You would be so miserable and not true to yourself if you didn't paint the way you paint. There's only one of you and what you do is soooo awesome o that's an understatement.
it is refreshing to see you even reenact that level of frustration. I remember a month or to ago I was similarly pissed off and I just started powerfully stabbing the canvas with my brush, it's genuinely helpful to hear someone of your level has these moments too!
If everybody liked the exact same things there would be no place for the beautiful variety and differences of personalities and artists, we would then be computers pumping out paint-by-numbers artless works. I love the energy and thick resonance of your works. Keep being you!
So refreshing that you share this process of working through the different stages of frustration before you arrive at what works for you and the painting! Stunning result! And I love the music
I admire your work and feel I learn from your sharing your process. Please forgive an irritating question, but what would be the time for this painting to dry?
during warmer seasons, my paintings dry pretty quickly. The thinner stuff on this piece was dry within a few days, and the thicker stuff was a week, maybe two. In the winter, it can be double that or more sometimes!
Ok Turner ,I’ve only watched till you changed the canvas so far ! Lmao Your temper tantrum reenactment was hysterically funny ,and I completely get it ! You get commissions ,they must want your art ! Now stop making me laugh and PAINT buddy ! lol 😂
Really stunning work man. Love it. Its always amazing how you blur the image into heavy brush strokes of paint. I had the same reaction painting last month palm trees. I abandoned realism back to pure abstract since then. Then I talked to a client online and they loved that palm tree painting. Go figure! All the best.
I hear you man. I paint in a tonalistic style I guess you could say. Love Innes, Whistler and present day artists like David Sharpe and Justin Worrell. I have a commission where the client wants an ocean/beach painting. I'm worried I won't stay true to myself and will end up painting something that looks like a thousand other ocean paintings. I'm trying to keep in mind there is a reason why they want one of my paintings. Maybe if I paint something that's not from my gut, they'll be disappointed that it's not in my style. We all have be true to who we are. As a side note, I want to be honest with you. I didn't get your style and process back when I first came across your channel a couple years ago. I was probably one of those people you mentioned that were turned off about what you did. Then, after painting for a while, I started to "find myself" and started to paint what and how I wanted to. Now, coming back to your channel, I have a lot of respect and appreciation for what you do. You have a new subscriber here.
Hello Turner, fantastic painting. Your customers will necessarily be satisfied: if they have called on you, it is because they like what you do, so there is no need to want to stick to the decoration of their home. You have made the scenery in the photo more beautiful. The colors are fabulous, the reflections in the water incredible. Congratulations to all of you.
Scuplture than Painting with the rich Color on your Canvas , this is really VanGogh's style , try the Sun Flower again in your Way , and you will be the greatest Artist just like Vincent in 2023 , Turner
Thank you for this video, wonderful process and lovely painting, there’s one thing creating a painting there’s another conveying a mood and a feeling, it’s excellent. I too love Isaac Levitan, I wonder if you ever heard of George Rowlette the English impasto painter? Much appreciation from Tokyo, James
Love your work Turner. Great how this piece turned out! You don’t seemed concerned about the toxicity of your supplies. Do you worry about exposure to OMS and heavy metals over time?
Tu pintura es de tanta fuerza y vitalidad, aunque a veces , algunos resultados no me gustan tanto, pero otras, cómo está, son realmente magníficas. Te felicito👌
Amazing work man. I'm an Italian cartoonist and illustrator, I use other tools but I love this this kind of painting! mattery, colorful and vibrant. I totally understand the moments of frustration and how much the mood of the moment, the place where we are, affects our work. Thank you for sharing this moment and your feeling with us.
Hi Turner, just now starting to use oils. Was using acrylic paints. I love your work! I have a question if you are okay with me asking, what is the liquid that is dripping down the canvas from your paint strokes? Thanks, Joe
I have got to tell you that I love your work and your passion. I just wish I could get the energy out of my paintings. Keep up the good work and keep posting.
I’m Glad u under painted this I don’t see the value in allowing white canvas to show through other than to look like a Matisse. Don’t know what people think about seeing the white canvas through a painting. I think there may be times when it’s interesting. What’s your view Turner ❤
Thanks John, I actually included the smaller sketches with the final painting foe the collectors. However the medium size piece that I did is available. Send me an email if you’re interested. Turner@turnervinson.com
This painting is so colourful and happy. There's a lot of you in it ( as far as I am able to say). So understandable the frustration!!! I love your sharing it with us though and wish the new owners much happiness with it! Still happy to watch your painting on my wall every day!!
I was clinching my teeth and smiling when you started talking about your dissatisfaction of your painting. I know your pain but your heart carries your truth and art. A tragedy is when that doesn't happen and your senses turn gray. For me your colors of your art lives and speaks your truth. Thanks for saying no. We all may win a little bit more by seeing you. 👍
По английски не сильно понимаю, через слово😊, но с фотографии вообще писать очень сложно, так что процесс всегда выматывающий, но главное результат, а результат хорош!
love how honest you are about your process and both paintings are fabulous. There is one shot where you apply brush work left to right on the white canvas while bending the colors and mark making that I think captures the "poetry" you often mention.
Went you paint in big size comes out espetacular, now in this small size you probably are using same big brush as it was a big size oil, so the amount of oil is same as big canvas on a small size canvas, can you understand what I want to said
Every painting that you do is greeting of a new day ... fresh and vivid ....your color combination is absolutely amazing !
You did it again! Just fantastic
I love how you work…unique style. It’s almost like you are a “conductor” of color when you put paint to your canvas. Thanks for sharing.😊
Welcome back! Good to have new vids to play while I’m painting. : )
Oh I really enjoy your enthusiasm! Keep it coming! I love art ......thank you!
LOL thanks for the re-enactment and the honesty. 😊
Love your work. The background music fits your style.
I watch you from Australia!

Bravo bravo majstore .❤️👏👌👍
You were right and the resulting change was phenomenal!!!
What an inspiration! Yes I think there comes a point when you can think yourself to a standstill. I love every brushstroke you make and understand your frustrations and joy…thanks for sharing
Congratulations on the amazing work!! Each of your videos is therapy for me and a daily inspiration to never give up painting.
I love the harmony of your color composition. ❤
The Color should looks like the Clay , and this is the greatest ARTS in the world just like Vincent did that
So glad you persevered and worked out the frustrations on another canvas, and then return to original piece. I found myself cheering you on secretly, knowing it was going to be another amazing work, proving to your self yet again, but certainly not necessary your amazing vision, and ability.

Clever to take inspiration from Levitan. I adore his work. Great result Turner! 👏
If everybody liked the exact same things there would be no place for the beautiful variety and differences of personalities and artists, we would then be computers pumping out paint-by-numbers artless works. I love the energy and thick resonance of your works. Keep being you!

I like the Clay on the canvas , painting looks like the scuplture not just painting itself
Turner , I want to say your Way for the painting is really looks like Vincent , seriously
Loved this one especially the hard parts. As an artist I feel ya
Ok Turner ,I’ve only watched till you changed the canvas so far ! Lmao Your temper tantrum reenactment was hysterically funny ,and I completely get it ! You get commissions ,they must want your art ! Now stop making me laugh and PAINT buddy ! lol 😂

you are a real artist
Yes!! Go for it!
Смотрю из другой половины планеты, природа очень похожа на наши древние северные горы и озера. Нет возможности выезжать на планер, а Вы супер!!!
Fantastic.

In the 'Mode' of modern art, 'If you can't paint...use MORE paint!'
you should "put" that on a "bumper STICKER!"
Paint. Melting Ice.
Bravo 👏👏👏

Thanks for being so candid with the process. I enjoy watching you paint and love the energy you bring to the canvass. Thanks Turner!
I can see VanGogh's Idea on your canvas , Turner
Love your work Turner. Great how this piece turned out! You don’t seemed concerned about the toxicity of your supplies. Do you worry about exposure to OMS and heavy metals over time?
Watching you be you, on canvas.
Tu pintura es de tanta fuerza y vitalidad, aunque a veces , algunos resultados no me gustan tanto, pero otras, cómo está, son realmente magníficas. Te felicito👌
A suggestion- donate the other canvas to a LTC facility . Your artwork could help lift the spirits of the residents.
Incredible. I love your work, with the textures, vibrant colour, and how it shimmers.
Do you hear about the strokes of genius , how to do the strokes of genius : it's the Fast Painting like Vincent did that

Thanks Joe! That’s just really thinned paint with odor less mineral spirits
