How do you make the logo wrap around the glass with the Beam Software. In you example your logo was just centered. What if you want it to wrap all the way around?
When the rotary is installed, can you put the honey comb back if you want to laser something else. Or do you have to remove the whole rotary system again
Hello Thanks for the video I really like the instructions that you include. Do you have a facebook page? One question I have the rotary attachment as well but do we need to take it off or can we leave it on all the time?
@@lazerking1701 Thank you love all the video instructions I wished I knew about your site sooner I would of ordered from you. But think on ordering a new machine I will visit..
I have this same unit, but when I try to engrave glass like you did, it just engraves in a straight line. I must be doing something wrong, or I have a defective unit.
So this may sound like an odd question but can u perhaps tell me the with and approximate length of the belt on the rollers on the rotary? Thank you in advance
Absolutely we do it all the time for local liquor stores that sell our service to their customers. Customer places in order and we can engrave their bottle for their wedding, anniversaries, birthdays etc.
My rotary isnt spinning. Have updated software and firmware, followed your instructions and the manual, center line moved to center of object. It fails to rotate. Am I missing something? Great videos, thank you so much for making these!
@@lazerking1701 I've also re seated the ribbon cable. I attempted to uninstall and reinstall the studio software but for the life of me can't find it in my program files.
@@GoodGuyv2 That is something I cannot help you with because only you know where you downloaded the folder to either your desktop or to documents or to your downloads folder
@@lazerking1701 I'm certain I can dig in and find it but I'm not sure it's software yet. Will update if that has an effect or when Beamo CS gets back to me
Hey, thanks for the vid! It helped make the setup a snap. Any plans to show how to install the autofocus add on? I’m still waiting for my autofocus to arrive. I had to order it from Great Britain (couldn’t find one here in the states) and it’s currently site seeing France and Germany for some reason :)
Ha yeah! Mine finally arrived and it was a pretty straightforward instalI. Forceps came in handy for the tiny camera and focus unit plugs. I don’t recall any real gottchas. You do have to remove the old manual focus from the x axis assembly so you will have to do a little adjustment and 3rd mirror alignment but it’s not bad. As far as auto-focusing, it’s a simple touch probe with a tiny stepper motor to adjust the height. Then enable it in beam studio. It has two modes: 1) the default, touch down once at the start of execution. 2) touch once at each layer, given a rough value of the object height to move down to touch. All in all, it’s worth it for me since I would sometimes forget to set the height, and the manual tightening ring would sometimes jam. Cheers!
i really like how you explain instructions.
Well thank you very very much!!!

You simply measure the circumference of the Tumblr/cup the image will be bigger than the diameter of the cup on your screen, but it will wrap around
@@lazerking1701 ahh...so it will stick past glassware on both sides.
@@MasterTheNEC as long as your measurements are correct you should be fine

On the beamo 30w you can leave it installed. Just disable rotary in the software when lasering flat stuff...
Can you engrave on bigger material pieces if you just set the machine on such pieces with the floor removed?
No....the unit will think the door is open

Are you able to adjust the rollers to be right next to each other, almost touching? I have a small stick that I want to engrave on.
They will close as closest possible but I don’t think you’re able to close it where they’re barely touching
@@lazerking1701 Thanks for your reply! So they could be closed close enough to have a small .25" gap between the rollers?

I will try to get you an answer.
Would I need to remove the entire rotary assembly if I subsequently wanted to make a flat project?
I just leave my rotary attached, but I put the honeycomb tray back in. Works just fine. :)
Can you do liquor or wine bottles

Did you slide the button in the beamo software under the documents tab to "enable" rotary?
@@lazerking1701 Yes, I scan the preview after setting the height, verify the rotary setting is on and move the center blue line.
