I just learned a new trick that keeps the engraving from getting cloudy and to stop flashback. Spread a thin layer of dish soap on the acrylic. Then just rinse off. Works amazing! I just got my Beamo a few days before Christmas and I'm loving her. She's a Chameleon skin so I named her Cordelia. Didn't feel right having a male name with this beautiful skin.

Good job with improvising and turning a bad situation into a great informative video. I'm so close to pulling the trigger and buying a Flux Beamo. Thanks for the vid!

Glad I watched this video, glad it was available.
My beamo Jake would not cut, but after cleaning the mirrors and the lens, all is well.

Thank you! Glad I came across your video! I noticed you had to stop to do it from a second cut. I've been trying cut mirrored acrylic and had to put spaces between the honeycomb and acrylic to stop the flashbacks and getting a rough cut but soon as it drops the second cut ruins it :(

This was so helpful. Are you still using your Beamo? I see you haven't posted in a few months.

    Last comment for awhile.
Noticed that you did engraving, then went immediately into cut mode. How did you accomplish this?
Like a lot operations on the beamo are not clear.
Sorry I’m asking so many questions.
Thank you again you have been so helpful

How often do you need to clean the lens?

Now this is the real deal, us newbies need. This machine is so overwhelming at times. I randomly remembered you from the flux group and looked you up on TH-cam to see if you had a new 2nd video and sure enough you did!!! i got so excited!!! Thank you for sharing this. Please keep them coming. I personally love videos like this that show everything. I’d love to see the finish product if you do a next one. Thanks again for taking the time to create these videos, I can only imagine it’s not easy. Do you have tik tok or Instagram maybe you can do some lives and notify your followers on it. Thanks again!!!

Thank you again for the helpful information, also what are the settings you used? My mirrored acrylic will Be in next week. All the information I can find is for the glow forge.

Untested in using real leather, also when using mirrored acrylic , do you mirror the image or flip it or both before cutting?

@@clarencejackson5454 I am working on sourcing real leather to be able to test it for everyone.
I mirror/flip the image and I place the acrylic with the mirror face down.
