- Fun run with my buddy PJ, his 135i moves out! Hard to keep up with a 3200 lbs car that's gripped up and has a great power band, definitely gave the M3 a run for its money!
I had the heat blasting to keep the car cooler and my hands get really sweaty, hence the gloves for this run!

Great driving seemingly well within the skill set, respect to traffic met, patience and safe timing to get by even if it chews up a corner or two, everyone gets to do it all over again. I'm sure those bystanders got an up close look at the action. Have fun, stay safe out there!
Thanks for the watch!
I have run the dragon at least a dozen times, that was fast! Good job and great video, props to both drivers.
what a great run! those ppl were so nice to pull over
Love the low camera angle. Makes it look like you're really moving.
And so far one of my fav dragon vids!
Thank you!
Gawd and you were giving it the beans too! He was doing more than walking away from you!
The 135i moves out!
Amazing driving. great lane placement as well, no mustard all mayo.
Jesus thats insane driving from both
Looks sooo fun
Super impressive.
i want to drive the dragon one day. seems really fun.
Love it
Great driving! Let me know if you want to take on an N55 M2 and I'd be happy to drive down there. I'd like to say I match your driving skill level. Can see for yourself in my video against a ferrari 488
one of the best experience ive that with my car was this summer at the dragon. was only there for 3 nights and couldnt really drive all that much but drove the skyway drive or something truly one of the best driving experience ive had. anyone debating on going on that roadtrip with your project car to the dragon, just grab your calendar and go.
Also does the 135 have an ig? Very curious on his build!
I've been on the Dragon a few times with my BMW bike and cars. I once ran the Dragon in a Lincoln Navigator SUV behind a couple of guys chasing each other in Mini Cooper S models. They had to pull over to let me pass. Does that count?
Looks like PJ, but I could be wrong. Did better than me though. I could barely keep him in my sight haha. Awesome driving!
It’s PJ!
Nice driving...
That low mounted camera makes it look really fast.
Well we definitely weren’t going slow by any means
Was that 135 a dct?
Proper job staying off the mustard
Males me miss my 135. I took a stick m3 out and it didnt feel as fast. But v8…..still havent decided.
I'm from Ohio, took my Mk4 down with some friends and this isn't how it was for us, we were always stuck behind a damn jeep or minivan, or a slow frs driver.
Awesome Video! It would be amazing if you could add tire/brake/suspension setup for both cars so we can compare.
The dragon can be really punishing on a driver, you did really well! Looks like you were getting a lot of rear end slip trying to get out of the slow speed corners. Did you try keeping the power button in normal mode so you can have better pedal modulation? Smoothness is so hard when your hanging on for dear life in a hairpin 😂
What tires are you both running? Great video!
He’s on kumho V730 and I’m on Goodyear eagle f1 super car 3 takeoffs from a GP1 E46 race car
Obviously well maintained with the exaust dangling off the bottom........
did you hardwire the gopro on the bumper? or just relying on the battery?
Just battery
Looks like a blast. People who claim you can't have fun in a car unless its a manual transmission, are out of their minds. That thing shifts lightning fast and keeps you right in the meat of your power band at all times... A manual would only slow you down...
I picked up a 22 Mustang GT Performance Pack with the 10 speed, and I can't imagine ever going back to a manual car. I need to get it up on that road. I am up there frequently on bikes, but have never taken the car up there and I feel like I am missing out...
Fun and fast are 2 different things. Of course you can be faster with a good automatic, but it is also true that it is more fun to drive a manual.
@@62Sketch Its only fun to someone that finds pushing the lever and pedal to be fun though... I find it tedious and boring after many years of rowing gears... I would rather just use paddles and enjoy the ride than fiddling with technology from the 1930's...
@@SquireSCA Paddles become boring for me because they're so easy to use. No effort in driving fast using them.
@@billwylde4846 Then you aren't driving fast. You still have to manage the car, the speed, the braking, hitting the apex and driving out... Pretending that not having an extra pedal somehow makes the car drive itself is laughable.
@@billwylde4846 Out of curiosity, what are you driving?
I’m going to Gatlinburg in June it’s like 2hrs away. I’m gonna hit the tail of the dragon while I’m there in my e90 m3. And then the weekend AFTER I’m there the 3rd weekend of the month apparently there is a big bmw group from Tennessee going to ride the tail of the dragon
Mvading the dragon. I’m one of the group leaders for that event, come out!
I just saw a guy jump off a cliff, I'm gonna chase him.
Why does it look sped up?
Listen to the end, you tell me if my voice sounds sped up and if you look at my hand movements pointing at the end…but yeah it’s sped up
very low camera angle gives it more speed look
probably because you're slow
'Gave the M3 a run for its money' Looks like it gapped you tbh.
There is a car up there like this now(camera car) for Tougefest 2024, ridiculously loud but not fast.
