Thanks for having me! I also want to extend my gratitude to Rob and Mark at Allumy Motorsport for getting my car ready for the filming. They did an outstanding job preparing the vehicle and ensuring it was in top condition for the shoot. Their expertise and attention to detail really made a difference, and I'm grateful for their hard work.
Proppa nice car you have built and tweaked buddy👌 may I ask what kind of money is needed to achieve 500bhp, just the mods and not including the car itself, if the wife might see this then I already know the amount it cost about 600quid🤫🤫😉😁lol. Always liked this shape 1 series 👍
@b3nonee Right around the same power, just blew up my 6hp at the track yesterday, ran a 11.8 at 127mph taking it easy. The first run in which I gave it all the 6hp gave out. I have an 8hp45 ready to go in - how has yours held up to the power? I am second guessing myself here.
@@fivesfe I turned down my torque reduction values on my 8hp45 for the sake of science, I ended up cooking the clutches and I'm now running an 8hp70. I can say that the 8hp45 with the stock torque reduction values will do the job pretty comfortably, but the 8hp70 is a night and day difference for shifts at full load.
Im exactly the same with all my cars, when I've just got vehicle and its looking all fresh and mint I always say keeping this one looking like new👌. lasts about 2 washes and the interest of spending several hours every Sunday wears off. Long as everything is mechanically sound which I always keep on top of then happy days enjoying driving and using it instead of polishing admiring the thing..
Nice to see someone else going single exit exhaust on these cars. I've done the same on mine going with a full vibrant exhaust with resonator and muffler
I had a 135i ringtool… with all the chassis mods… because stock it was a really nervous car on the rear in the corners and in the straight… with only 360 hp… imagine with 500 LOL This needs a LSD proper Coilovers and Swaybars around!
Super killer build! One thing not mentioned when going over the fueling is the Low pressure pump or pumps if that's the case. I know before I've run out of fueling due to the lack of fuel I needed to put in a Walboro 460 or 525 LPH in tank pump or twp if needed. I'm running just a single 460 LPFP so far and I can run up to 70% Ethanol. Which make huge power with my 17T's. Wow what a great build! This has an LSD as well which is so needed!! Smokin!
I got a 2008 white convertible 135i n54 450bhp stock auto gearbox, engine stock, new oem vargas turbos, but changed everything around the engine like everything from all bolt ons, oil cooler, intercooler, aluminum radiator , Precision Raceworks coils, downpipes all gaskets from oil pans to valve cover 4 months work lolol but i have a monster now . These cars are beasts
Love these little 135's! I have a dark blue 2008(year one of the one)/manual thats nearing 100k miles. Bought it used in 2009 with 5k miles on it, so I had the car from the beginning. I feel a little sad about saying goodbye, but its time. Thinking about getting the new M2!
@@TheCinderellaman10 its been excellent. Especially when you consider I've been running BMS catlless DPs & JB4 map 2 for the past 8 years straight. That's totally my bad! I try not to spread any misinformation but I'll be honest I've not properly researched that side of things because I've kind of got my heart set on a port injection kit / water meth. I mainly wanted to make sure I mentioned it so that people know that it's another option and that PI / meth kits aren't the only solution for the HPFP bottleneck on the stock fuel system.
@@b3nonee Are you sure the HPFP is the bottleneck and not your Low pressure pump? Ive got a 1M, which as far as I know doesnt have a different HPFP, and im running 500+ Wheel HP on 93 octane fuel comfortably on the stock HPFP, I just have a Stage 2 LPFP.
