- It has been months since I've been to the Goodwill bins, and I was getting the itch to get back and see what I could find. Initially I wasn't finding anything great in the bins but as I just kept picking and digging!! I finally started finding some great items and was able to fill up a cartful. Watch as I pick and then show you what I items I found!!

You are so lucky to have one of those Good wills bins near you. We have nothing near me and our Good will s don’t even have any discount days!
The orange plates are Fire King Peach Luster. These are the plates we grew up with in the 60s.

You could make 3 six foot garland if you styled it with lots of imagination! Same with the bird houses! This was a great haul! Fun too!

You got some great things! I especially loved the white enamel bucket and the black speckled one. They would be great for putting Christmas trees in. Also loved the vintage soap dish.

I love the bins so much. They are fantastic for resellers. I wish I could go during the week but I work full time and they are an hour away so Saturday or Sunday I try to go when I can. I have a small booth so I pretty much fill my booth with what I find. It is so much fun giving things new life and saving beautiful things from becoming trash. I love all your inspiration and I never miss a video.

the orange dishes are Fire King. Very collectible. In my area F.K. pieces sell for anywhere between about $5-$12 depending on the piece.

I am currently making chunky churches out of a railroad tie and covering the roofs and doors with music sheets. You should make some for your booth for Christmas!

I dont know if it was answered but the were for under furniture on carpet mostly, my grandma had them, she said it stoped the legs from making deep holes in the carpet and wearing it out so when you moved your furniture around you could refluff the carpet in that area. great haul
Cast iron frame is gorgeous! To replace oval glass is super expensive so I’d love to see how you repurpose it.

I think the big enamel pan has a large handle then a “pour” handle. The Amish around me use them on open flames to cook. Great haul!
Clear glass rounds are definitely floor protectors to put under furniture legs.
Your Mom was right. Those clear, round glass objects were used to sit under your furniture. And that big enamel pot only has one handle because you pour out whatever was in it, so you held the one handle and the large circular wire handle. Not always safe!
I have those red chargers. Bought them at Costco set of 8 for $8. They look beautiful under Christmas plates. Yes,your mom is right on furniture coasters.

The white plate with no marking is actually ironstone. I have a large collection that I use for everyday dishes. I always love your hauls, so many great finds!!

I loved everything you got. And yes those round thick glass pieces are for furniture, I remember my grandmother had them under all of her furniture. She loved to move stuff around and she said it made it so she could do it alone. God bless
Your white plates are depression glass, looks like American Sweetheart pattern, but not milk glass which is totally opaque, i.e. you can't see through it. The color is called Monax. They are gorgeous. As others have said, the orange plates are fireking peach lustre.
Sonnet, you may want to check the glass furniture coasters with a black light. I have several that glow!!
Sonnet, I made a mess. I bought two of the wood pumpkins last year and started decorating them this year. They had initials so I painted them with DYI paint, and guess what, the wrong color. So I painted the whole pumpkin. then I had some napkins and I thought put leaves around the top. thinking back I think my mod podge was old and caused my napkins to bubble up and look hard. So I started sanding them down. Well, here it is Nov 5 almost too late for fall so I'll just save them for next year. I don't have a channel or sell my stuff. I'm a beginner. So teaching mistakes will happen. Thanks for listening. My goodwill in my area is not as good as yours.
You can sand the chip out of the glass cloche.

I thought your snowman noses were cute!! You can try steel wool for your mice problem, you stick it in their holes and they don't like it!
I'm having the same experience with the Goodwill's in my area...the shelves are bare...and they try to place what they've got to make it look like there is more than there is.
Sonnet, for the mouse problem have you tried something called Freshcab? They are little bags filled with natural smelling things that mice supposedly don't like 😉 My Mom lives in the country and they seem to help! Thanks for what you do, I'm very inspired by you ♥️
I have been looking for a jar like that to put my Epsom salts in. I take regular Epsom salts baths for my arthritis.
You need a magnifying glass to read the bottoms of your crocks, dishes etc....That is what I do...

Those orage-ish dishes look like they could be Fire King carnival glass. Beautiful milk glass set 😍 You found some great pieces! Wish I had an outlet store near me. The closest one is 3+ hours away and not a good one. Went one time... lol

Sonnet, how do you know its milk glass? I see lots but never know how to tell.
The plates were not milk glass which is totally opaque. I.e. you can't see through it. These plates are depression glass, color is called monax and is partially transparent.
The orangish plates are called lusterware
14:19 Those plates are depression glass, one of my favorite patterns. Please don't craft with them. The orange plates look like they might be luster ware, also collectible.
