- My friend Cindy and I met at the Goodwill "Bins" Outlet in Akron on a Saturday morning. It was crowded and there wasn't much in the way of quality, but we still found a few nice things. Then we shopped teh retail side, and had much better luck! Come see what we found on both sides! I share all the information about what I've picked, how much I've spent, and how much I think I will make on any piece I sell on eBay, Niknax.net, in one of my booths, or in a live sale here on TH-cam!

I find things at estate sales and auctions, charity shops, and thrift stores, and even pluck treasures from Goodwill bins and street curbs as they are headed towards the landfill.

Buying rescued treasures helps the planet! If we could all stop buying new things from the big box stores and start treasuring the beautiful things that already exist, we could lessen our personal impact on the planet. That is what YoSoBoHo is all about!

Oh my gosh! I have been trying to figure out what the heck that snack glass dispenser with the cork lid was! I was given one and used it to put an ivy in water with clay marbles. Looks super cute with the ivy coming out the top and spout. But now I know what the heck it actually is!!!😂
So funny! They are a bit weird looking! My mom and I found one a year-or-so ago, before we knew what they were, where the spout was sealed off. We were very confused. 😂 It turns out that it was a manufacturing flaw. Lol
Your bins are actually organized! In Grand Rapids they just toss anything in regardless of breakage factor. I complain, but several years ago I found a mother Mary and child -very African looking- carved out of wood and they reside in my home all year long.
We are very lucky! Even on a day where there is little in quality, we’ll find something. Im so glad that you rescued the carving! 😊🤗💕

I saw the new R.B.G. book out for children. It is about Her as a child. I wish I would of had pen and paper when I watched the news this AM about the book. I know how she has your heart as she does mine. They put out a stamp last year too.❤❤❤

Since you’re in Akron Ohio, did you know there is a goodwill outlet at 1333 East 179th Street in Cleveland Ohio. They reopened in November. It was originally there but was closed for a few years then they remodeled and added. The parking to the front of the building. I don’t think many people know that it’s there because each time I’ve gone there were maybe 30 or 40 people at the most. Great video glad I found you your channel happy hunting

Yes! Good eye! I spotted that on my second round. I think it was cubist. But I probably would have left it even if it was Fostoria. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a good sell-thru rate. :)

They opened a smaller Goodwill Store (Boutique) right next door to our bins store. All of the glassware, nice purses, etc go over there now. Which means you have to pay more. Kind of bites but it is what it is.
🤔 Yeah, I don't think I would like that too much either. But, they can't catch everything. Plus, they likely have limited shelf space over there, so they won't be able to sort and stock as much as they get coming in there. Keep up the good hunt, my friend! 💕
