I had an awful experience with an engineer over the weekend. The whole time, all I could think of was everyone in your interviews that says "Be a good person", "Admit when you're wrong". This guy did none of that. Thanks for all the awesome interviews and all the things to keep in mind as I go through my engineering career.

Great advice from Brad, say yes to everything. That was my approach when I was starting out and in 4 years I was working for JPJ Aus who is now owned by Clair. Seems like a very down to earth guy. They were on my flight on their way to Knotfest, I wish I could have gone to hear his show.

whats his Autotune settings LOL
Pretty much every pop artist runs autotune, it’s just part of modern music. Thing about autotune is, it doesn’t “fix” a bad singer like when you’re tuning in the studio, got autotune to work live, the singer needs to be very good or you’ll hear it. When singing live there are so many things that can harm your tuning so nothing wrong with utilising tools to help the show. The paying audience deserves the best show that can be delivered.
