very curious if the V400's hotend/extruder section is physically compatible with the SR? Already have an SR and am putting together a sherpa mini for it, but if the part was compatible and cheap enough I'd go for that instead.
love the new speed achievements in the space over the past few months. you should do a video with this printer rocking a 0.8mm volcano
Actually, we have a 1.2mm CHT volcano nozzle just itching to get mounted on it :)

@@3DJake_Official Gonna have to print way slower with that. Even with a volcano there's no way you can heat that much plastic at 300+ speeds.

What is the real build space from this printer? For example I want to print a square. What size can it have before it reaches the limits on top and in the circle?
Got mine yesterday from the september batch, love it so far. Still havent tweaked the settings to optimal performance. Since you are a month in, landed on any good overall configs?
Got mine yesterday, and it prints great. Question: my completed pieces all have a large "splash" layer at the bottom on all of them that I have to trim off. Is there a Cura (Cura 5.3 for me) setting to stop or reduce this? Thanks very much.
Is there a way to make this printer enclosed?? That would be awesome for abs, asa and cf materials. IT has the hotend for it 🤤
Anyone make an enclosure for it yet? If so are the electronics able to handle the heat in your opinion? Nice video!@
Hi, awesome video, thanks! I'm waiting a long time for "my" pre-ordered Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, but I'm a bit tired of waiting so I'm seriously thinking to buy this one instead. Do you think it is difficult to add an E3D Revo hotend on this thing? Have it on my Ender 5 and love it. Thanks.
I wouldn't think it is difficult as long as you have some CAD skills - the printer is just too new for any community designs, I had a look at printables and thingiverse and there isn't anything available just yet.

Hello 3D Jake, I am wondering you have experienced stringing issue when doing the retraction test with V400 default setting? If yes, could you share your config that minimise stringing ? Many Thanks !
No we actually didn't have any stringing. We're running the following retraction settings:
Retract at layer change: Yes
Retraction distance: 1mm
Retraction speed: 30mm/s
Combing: Not in skin
Retract before outer wall: Yes
Avoid printed parts when travelling: Yes
Avoid supports when travelling: Yes
Z hop when retracted: Yes
Z hop only over printed parts: Yes
Z hop height: 0.3mm
Mine will be here in 2 weeks normally :)

I got my flsun v400 but i get every time klipper not connected or klipper has encountered an error Issue a firware restart...
can not update mcu config as it is shutdown once the underlying issue is corrected use the firmware restart i made that but nothing works? Any help pls.
Was that a mistake when you said: all depends on xxx and "Jerk" settings? because i thought that Klipper does not implement jerk? was the info wrong? i had to remove the gcode commands setting up jerk in Cura...
Yep completely forgot that Klipper uses junction deviation instead....was wondering when someone would notice this.
I'm having issues with my first layer being rough, causing nozzle grind and drag on subsequent layers. Any ideas on settings to smooth out the first layer?

How was the overall quality of the prints on a scale of 1-10 and not at max speed because quality is more important to me
Good question. Maybe 8/10, good but definitely not perfect and this was tried at differing speeds, couldn't see much of a difference in quality when printing at 100mm/s and low acceleration limits or 200mm/s and moderate acceleration limits.
@@3DJake_Official so my understanding which is very limited as I'm new to 3d printing is that deltas have better quality than traditional printers, would you say this is true and if not what printer have you used or heard of that has amazing print quality? I'm also considering getting the prusa xl can I get your thoughts on that
@@KavdaenMain Well not necessarily. A delta can just go faster than traditional printers, you can still get excellent quality on something like an Ender 3, you're just never gonna be able to get high speed on it unless you modify it.
Honestly, for FDM printers the best quality I have achieved is with printers that I have modified. If what you need is super high quality and fidelity I would actually recommend a resin printer instead.
The Prusa XL looks interesting, it isn't like other traditional printers though because it will have klipper firmware and have corexy kinematics too. What I can say about other Prusa printers is that they're wonderful. Good quality prints and out of the box it is able to print a wide range of materials but the best thing about Prusa printers is the user experience. Reliability is fantastic and it is so easy to use.
@@3DJake_Official i just bought a v400 to print sturdy parts do you think it will have good detail for that type of stuff. I had a Ender but it broke on me i am hoping this will do good

I remember another big delta... Everyone hated it because of the company and some issues that had with clone boards, etc. Let's hope this fair's better in the long term.
This isn't new for them. This is their 4th delta.
@@Xanthira222 but the klipper part is new, and turns out they are not following the open source licensing requirements. And is locked down so you can't access some settings. Let's see how it ages.

I have tevo little monster and this is very nice delta frame but that electronics sucked so hard. It is runnig on duet for almost 3 years and still strong.. But i like this printer i think it is time to buy my tevo brother :)

Anyone else have horrible customer service from FLSUN? I ordered in September and they said all the September orders have been sent out but mine has not. I sent them my order number and no one has gotten back to me? I have seen other comments about orders not being fulfilled. Is this company a scam?
I’ve had no issues with them. I ordered in the second wave and it was sent when they said it would be and showed up with no issues. They have reached out to me two or three times now to check up on me and my progress. No complaints on my end at all.
Mine was also ordered to be sent in the Sept 20 batch. China had a holiday during that time so it was abit late. I just got mine this week. 2months is normal when dealing with air shipments from China. (At least to me in Sweden) it is not a scam. But my recommendation is to always use Paypal if you have any future notion of non legitimacy. They cover up to 6months of package not coming into a full refund.

You referred to “clipper” over and over again as if it’s the most important feature but you never explained what it is. I have no idea.
Ah, Klipper is a kind of firmware which has a special feature called input shaping which essentially cancels out the vibrations that cause ghosting and ringing. Because of this you can print faster at good quality
Buyers, beware, do not buy into the hype and free printers that are given to reviewers. I can tell you you will be lucky to get your order the way most customers have to order in one to two months with tons of excuses. Not the type of company I would want to do business with, and if you did I could imagine the type of support you would get and time delays.
I got mine after 2 months, pretty standard when we are talking shipment from China that is 20Kg and a 1 by 0,5meter box.
The support is suuuper slow at response but very calm and assuring. A tip is if you are ever in doubt use PayPal. Their contract with such sellers are very strict and assures you refund up to 6months. It was worth the wait tho :)

I have done my research and there are A LOT more people out there who have not have their orders fulfilled or responses, I am one of them. I can't speak for FLSUN regarding how they deal with unfulfilled orders but if you're ordering from us we can give you information about when we expect deliveries.

To bad that they are FLSUN is taking a page from Prusa and there XL, promising a ship date to gather Pre-orders to take your cash, and not being able to deliver on shipping commitements and then blame it on COVID or Logistics . This is becoming the norm Prusa, FLSUN, and Bambu Labs.....buyer beware.
I just got my v400 yesterday. It only came a week late, no big deal.
Maybe just maybe it's becoming the norm because it's an actual problem....

I have that everywhere, even with parts from the states, which are produced in the states delivering to Switzerland. I received my V400 two weeks ago and its amazing. Built it in 15min with my wife, leveled the bed and printed successfully a provided knurling screw model with the provided PLA. So out of the box to the finished print in 90mins is bloody amazing and actually how it should be. The delivery was only 10 days late so no big deal.
I received my Speeder Pad in 9 days, now adding my SR to it when there are no options for adding other printers has been a bit of a challenge.
i appreciate this review but i find that sometimes it is very hard to understand what it is you are saying. you seem to swallow or mumble your sentences.

If you are buying a CNC machine quiet shouldn't even be on the list.
