So, Joel might have seen it on twitter already, but just incase someone else comes here and does not know - the reason for the added A4 paper is due to weight limits on shipping from China to the USA. The freight company had minimum weight limits when sending out from China to the USA, and without the paper the package didnt make that minimum weight limit. So, the shipping company added the paper to be able to send it, atleast on the terms they had set for their agreement. Seems like a weird rule, but hey - there's tonnes of weird rules over in the USA and Europe as well, so I dont think we're in any position to complain about that. Atleast a stack of A4 paper is useful, it's not like they added some heavy foam for us all to just trash in the bin.

I have a vyper as my first one and love it so much. I originally had a SR and had so many problems! I want to give this one a second chance
This was fun! And TALL!!
Decided to upgrade from the ender3 class of printers and got my v400 recently. Very surprised that the printer isn't more popular. Quick tweaks with a custom super slicer profile and the speed and quality are far beyond my expectations.

With what Nero was saying about the ability to add extra stuff like controlling lighting, etc it got me thinking about functional uses for it. For example, you could have a strip of 100 LEDs, and have it turn on 1 per 1% of printing done.

I am a Klipper convert so seeing it on this commercial printer is very good news. I would like to get my hands on that touch screen mcu combo and try out on one of my printers.
That is just Klipperscreen. It works with any touchscreen connected to the Pi. It doesn’t work with a screen connected to the MCU.
@@jakepF1D in this case it does not need a PI the screen has Linux installed so it just needs to connect to a board like an SKR via usb.

Hi Joel, what type of nozzle does the v400 take? As there are not any replacements it seems provided I was going to order some extras if possible.

Hi, Can someone please tell me the physical dimensions of this printer. I can only find print volume online and I need to now how much real estate it needs including overall height. Thanks
Cole Dixon - the chance of you seeing this is probably 1:1,000,000 but if you do... Your issues with your Ender 3 Pro sound like more than likely to be your E-Steps on your Extruder are off a small bit. Being how you said your filament doesn't start to get squished until midway through your print it sounds like your e-steps are set too high and thus the extruder is pushing just a little bit too much filament as the print is being printed thus building up the pressure in the nozzle as the print goes. It' sounds like it gets to a point where the pressure is too great and the extruder isn't able to keep pushing the filament at the rate at witch it's set causing it to slowly bind and get squished in the extruder gear.

Hey Joel I’m hoping you can shed some light for me on a particular subject. Why is it that core XY printers get so outrageously expensive when you get a vertical build volume in the 400 to 600 mm range? For example I have a flash forge guider 2 which is a sub$1000 printer with a 300 mm vertical. But to get something that will print in the five or 600 mm range I’ve got to spend 6000+ dollars why is that? Thanks!

Look at the tronxy x5sa 600. They aren't the world's best pronter but they are sub 1k I believe and you can easily turn it into a giant voron for not too much more.
It because as you get taller everything in the frame has to get stiffer.

Buyers, beware, do not buy into the hype and free printers that are given to reviewers. I can tell you you will be lucky to get your order the way most customers have to order in one to two months with tons of excuses. Not the type of company I would want to do business with, and if you did I could imagine the type of support you would get and time delays.

Anyone else have poor customer service from FLSUN? I ordered in September and they said all the September orders have been sent out but mine has not. I sent them my order number and no one has gotten back to me? I have seen other comments about orders not being fulfilled. Is this company known for scamming people? I have sent them messages through other mediums and I have not gotten a response back. This is why I am reaching out to the community. Thank you!

Why not just enclose the V400. Velcro male glued to the rails and velcro female glued to plexi.
It’s a decent idea. I know Nero did this to his but with cardboard.
@@3DPrintingNerd Thanks, perhaps small neodym magnets instead of velcro, where nothing needs to be done to the printer itself.
