I am a colts fan till the day I die and I agree. There was no reason for the way they treated luck for retiring. I don't blame him at all for it. Some of the fans are really stupid and disgusting.
Yeah but who retires from playing NFL football just to shoot porn part-time for a living? I know he comes from a wealthy family and doesn't really have to think about money like us normies but still, trading an NFL superstar career for a part-time porn star career makes little sense in my book son.
@@angelc0035 What do you mean What? You got a problem with my opinion of Luck's career choices? Fine. We're all entitled to prioritize what makes us happy in our own way as long as it's not breaking agreed upon laws. As far as I know Andy's not making any illegal videotapes, it's all legit and legal what he's doing so I can't really judge him for it. You, him and I simply don't have similar wants, standards and desires. That is all, don't judge yourself for it... we all must find our own way son.
This man is the reason why the Bengals are doing literally everything they can for Joe Burrow You protect the #1 asset you have and give them their rest when they need it
@@ckobo84 they are still trying to find the right guys for the O-line unlike the colts with luck who covered up injuries and put him behind an O-line that couldn't stop a man in a wheelchair
@@ckobo84I’d heard the front office gave Burrow the choice between them drafting an Olineman or Chase, asking Burrow which he wanted more and Burrow went with Chase. Assuming that’s true, they really are doing everything they can to keep him happy and in control.
Mahomes too. He got clobbered in the SB against the Buccaneers and the FO spent basically their entire off-season and resources rebuilding the offensive line from square one. Now it’s one of the best in the league.

Matt Ryan didn't get to ride this excuse and his line was worse for longer.. same with Miami.. But Luck gets the sympathy cop-out while everyone else is "trash"
@@youngf.l.y.1467 offense was never the issue in Atlanta and the defense lost them more games than anything .. Ryan literally had a worse line and played better in an actual competitive division.. Ryan literally had numbers identical to his MVP year the year Julio left 🤣🤣🤣
Andrew Luck is like Barry Sanders. They both could have kept playing at a high level for awhile, but both chose to walk away due to franchise malpractice. Luck was absolutely one of the best to play QB and I have nothing but utter respect for him to choose a happier life for himself. Luck is an extremely smart person. It's unlikely football was ever the be-all, end-all of his existence. But...I do miss that twitter account portraying him as a Civil War officer.
I'm an old Bears fan so I watched Barry's entire career in the NFC North... he didn't retire just because Detroit was perennially bad. He did not have "awhile" left. He had clearly hit the wall in terms of top end speed and was declining. His yards per carry dropped to his lowest level, he was still good in between tackles but he was significantly slower in the open field than in previous seasons. He was not running away from anyone anymore and only scored 4 rushing TD's the entire season. Without his ability to hit the home run play he's not worth the constant TFL's and runs for no gain which he had problems with even at his peak. The team actually improved the year after he retired going from a 5-11 team to an 8-8 team that made the playoffs.
He didn't retire because he didn't like the franchise. It was due to the high amount of injuries and wanting to lead a healthy productive life after football.
@@jennyanydots2389Barry Sanders may have slowed slightly, but he was still an elite NFL running back when he retired. He ran for 1491 yards that year, more than 90 yards per game, and had a 73 yard run. His rushing average and touchdowns were down, but not the lowest of his career. He had the highest number of carries in his career, and may have gotten tired of the pounding and injury risk for a team that wasn’t going anywhere. He was always a player who was quick rather than fast, and someone who could be outrun in an 80 yard sprint. He always had a lot of tackles for loss if people could catch him.
@@MazeDaGr8 not with Jeff Fisher as the coach. He was QB killer and would have ruined Luck worse than the Colts did. Thank god he didn’t go to the rams. Also without the RG3 trade they probably don’t get Aaron Donald.
I remember people talking about him “coming back after retirement” and it’s almost like no one listened to him when he gave that final speech. That man had his spirit broken by on field trauma and recovery. I mean I don’t think he even looked forward to football anymore. I really wish him the best in his retirement. I’m glad he can take care of his family and be present in their everyday lives because that means more to him than any trophy or nfl paycheck he could receive. He was never on my team but he’s such a stand up guy!
Not only that, but he took them deeper into the playoffs each year, coming just one win short of the Super Bowl. That's an incredible accomplishment for a QB in their first three years in the league.
The Dolphins’ owner Ross (Steven? Stephen?) served a suspension and was banned from his own facilities for a while (I could just look it up) last season for tampering with Brady twice; once while he was has on the Pats and again on TB, for tampering with Sean Payton while he was still with the Saints, and all the whole Brian Flores thing. Flores said the owner offered to pay him to tank, and Flores was invited to that offshore meeting on the yacht with Ross & Brady. I’d assume owners/front offices do that kind of thing all the time, and Ross was guilty of multiple offenses so they suspended him. I’m only speculating, but I’m thinking it might be like when players get caught using banned substances; they get out in a program & get tested more often, and after x positive tests they get suspended. I’m sure New England and Miami aren’t the only teams that do “shady” stuff. The Irsay suspension may have only been because it was public news. It’s reasonable to assume that not only do owners do stuff like Ross did, but WE don’t hear about it because it doesn’t make the news regardless, or it gets handled behind closed doors. Like, do I think the Patriots were guilty of “deflate gate” and “spy gate?” Sure. But I also think lots of teams “bend the rules” in similar ways. We hear about it when it’s a successful franchise (think Houston Astros) or the media catches wind of it.

i actually had the pleasure of meeting andrew luck at his master’s graduation at stanford this weekend. phenomenal man, extremely loving father, and a pleasure to speak with.
The second Andrew Luck went to the doctors in the NFL his career was virtually over. I'm glad he was able to shine. I'm a Redskins/Commanders Fan so I can vouch for that pain. RGIII and Andrew Luck back to back
This will be lasting trauma on the franchise. Ryan Grigson did him so dirty. Pagano was never that good of a coach either. The Luck-Hilton connection alone is pretty much what made them a playoff team. And just when it looked like he was getting a fresh start in 2018, it was over. Tragic. I got Andrew’s autograph as a rookie, when I was probably 9. He’s a great guy and was my hero during my most formative Colts memories. I only have vague memories of Peyton. Andrew was my guy from ages 9-16. Sad to see this happen to your hero. Glad he’s doing well in retirement though. I truly hope Anthony Richardson’s story turns out different.
I would have never guessed you were so young. You are well written. I can tell a lot about you and your upbringing and SES just by your writing and portrayal of ideas at your age. Damn dude I’m only 25 it sucks you don’t have great memories of Peyton he was the real deal. Whole team fired on all cylinders. So much fun to watch as a kid.
The Colt’s owners never learned anything when they left Baltimore in the middle of the night. At their core, they are rotten people who destroyed this man’s body and spirit by not giving him the people he needed to win. Contrast them to the Chiefs and Eagles who value their quarterbacks and all their players. The NFL needs to have more safeguards but I doubt that will happen… Outstanding video!!!!
A LOT of older owners feel they’re the reason for the team’s success. Their egos as rich folks is what’s keeping them from the only change worth anything not monetary. Owners like Irsay and Jones care a lot more about profit and taking the credit. As a Lions fan, we were at that point as well until “new” leadership stepped in and started to actually somewhat care.
I want to say that, as a Colts fan, I absolutely *despised* the way people booed Luck when he announced his retirement. The way they treated him was abominable. It sickened me and still sickens me to this day. This all comes down to the front office and their awful job at protecting him. I may have been a fan of the Colts, but at that time, almost everything about them disgusted me. The way the fans treated him, the way the team took advantage of him. How the front office was absolute garbage. I felt, and always will feel, sorry for Luck. We didn't deserve him. I know Andrew won't read this, but I'm sorry for the way we treated you. You were always a class act on and off the field.
That’s was So SUPER ASS, that they did that to him!!! REAL SHIT- This man LITERALLY risked LIFE and limb, for an organization that is So BullShit and Classless?!- They left us, in the middle of a blizzard; without letting the city know that they were moving to Indianapolis. That’s why John Elway REFUSED to come here!!! Irsay was a Piece-Of-Shit and Junior ain’t No Better. As much as I LOVED Peyton Manning at Tennessee in college and in Denver, after the Colts cut him?!- I couldn’t STOMACH him, with Indianapolis… Fuck The Colts!!!🖕🏽💩💯
Luck was definitely on his way to be a generational QB. He needed all these pieces around him to win and they didn’t do anything for him. Some people nowadays call Luck a quitter and say he should’ve stayed, but when you get hit all those times with no O line, receivers to throw to, and almost no defense, it’s gonna take a toll on him, and some people just either don’t understand that, or they don’t want to accept it
Yes those details on the extend of his injuries were pretty gruesome and more than justify his retirement. But he didn't need any further justification.
Didn't the Colts try to shift to run first in 2015? They got Andre Johnson but he was a terrible fit for the Colts and disrupted the chemistry with TY.
I dont think people realized how crazy the whole injury hiding scandal was. we're so much more aware of injury and protecting player health now than we were in 2014 - tua gets a concussion and gets sent back in the game once and the dolphins medical staff is fired. luck was basically abused and tortured for over 2 years and when everything was breaking out, i still dont think people realized how bad the situation was. its a good thing he's smart and got out of football when he did.
I center though this was only 10 years ago, it’s 10X’s as hard to hide all that stuff these days. I’m glad it is too. Certain rule changes can definitely be regarded as “soft”, but transparency was definitely needed. The owners care about the money than the players themselves. If that player can limp on to the field and put fans in seats, the owners were making it happen.
It's not abuse when u have the means and freedom to go get a second opinion😂😂😂tf yall feel srry for him for.....what person feels their shoulder crumbling for two years and don't go see a different doctor, he pissed blood and said he was fine, that's not brave, thts stupid as hell

He was one of the last of a dying breed - a throwback, tough-as-nails, no-nonsense type of player. Players like this are incredible to play with and coach, but their toughness becomes a detriment in the long run because the body can only take so much.
Andrew luck is a story that every football player needs to learn about if they have any future in the sport beyond high school. No team is worth sacrificing your own body and mind to the degree that he did, for them to spit that dedication in your own face by refusing to surround you with any even capable talent, and even worse, downplaying the injuries that he had suffered for years. If somebody had been in his ear telling him to leave, he would likely still be playing
It's sadly ironic that both Luck & RG3, the 1st and 2nd overall picks in 2012 draft both had their careers ruined by the incompetence and shameful lack of regard for their wellbeing . Go Hawks
the problem with this case was the Colts didn't think of them drafting Luck as a rebuild. they just think they can continue from what Peyton left them so they thought what they did prior to that was enough and doesn't need to change. the reality was they need a full rebuild not just some reload. what happened to Peyton before Luck wasn't a flash in a pan but it's a sign that said "You need to take care of your star QB" they should address their O-Line and defense but sadly they didn't.
As a indy native and Colts fan this is %100 .. That whole time I was very disgusted with Ryan Grigson as a GM and not getting Luck what he and the team needed. Discussed it online and was mostly ignored by the fellow fan base. On the Andrew Luck retirement boo’s I’d say that was aimed towards the Colts more than the man himself. But I wasn’t there.
Grigson is the current VP of player personnel for the Vikings and I've been calling for his head into the void for far too long, but hopefully we can stick the tank landing...
yea but Grigson had nothing to do with Payton manning or this young kid now Colts believe deeply in Anthony Richardson's future despite shoulder injury where have we herd that before with all of the above qbs mentioned you know where this is going another bad luck story for the colts or is it just bad ownership bad management every year

I’m from Indiana and I remember when Luck retired and the shit people would say as “fans” was absolutely idiotic. They judged him like the man abandoned his kids or something. Since some peoples lives are so sad the only time there happy is when their home town team is winning and we could t win without him,and for some reason these people felt they was owed something from a man they never met,it was ridiculous. A friend of mine was upset, because Luck had just taken a $25-million bonus for being on the roster or something and then walked away, leaving us with a salary cap hole. I told the guy that if Luck could have taken more, I would have been fine with it. It's the least the organization could do for basically ruining the man's incredible career.
I've had a few long rehabs and I can't imagine how stressful and miserable they must be for a professional athlete. Not only do you have to regain average strength again, they have to get in top notch shape again. It really has to be draining especially when your team doesn't make it easier and you end up hitting roadblocks in the playoffs. All that work for what? It's quite infuriating how they booed him after he announced retirement. He gave them everything and that's the thanks they gave him? Those fans deserve the misery Cleveland fans have endured for the next 20 years.
This is still some of your best work sir, I have watched it three times now, it’s why I subscribed to your channel. It’s so gross how he was treated and you showed so well how good he was and how toxic the staff was…it paints a grim picture of how we all can be taken advantage of and be sold up the river. Excellent storytelling good sir.
Just found this channel... I absolutely love your narration. Awesome content. Gained a new fan for sho. Luck was such a phenom... I don't blame him for walking away from a franchise that threw him the wolves... and when he brought back the carcuses of the wolves they didn't even make him a plate. Awesome player/ human being. (Luck is off the charts intelligent... he makes normal "smart" people seem slow in comparison)
What's crazy is that we only got to see the bottom of his potential and it was still Top 10. We can only imagine what his ceiling would have been on a better team and healthy.
It's depressing how Irsay pretty much kept people in the dark on how bad Luck was hurt and don't blame him (in hindsight) for retiring. It didn't help we relied on aging over the hill QBs until we did in 2023 what we should have done in 2020.... got a new franchise QB and started from scratch
I noticed on that sack graph showing Luck getting sacked 41 times in 2012, it also showed Rivers getting sacked 49 times. Indianapolis fans were worried about getting Rivers in 2020, but he came from a worse situation than Luck but still was able to be one of the top five passers every year. That also probably why he had such a quick, decisive throw….. he’d get clobbered if he didn’t get rid of the ball. But that didn’t stop fan from blaming him for the team’s problems. Just like they did Matt Stafford before he left Detroit.
This is absolutely damning. If I was in the draft, I would tell the Colts to not even think about drafting me, and that I would never play for their organization.
Colts fans need to blame management for not taking care of one of the greatest qb's ever. The guy was too humble to complain. They ruined him. He carried that team and management never made a decent effort to improve their o-line. Hiding his injuries and forcing him to play, instead of protecting him and extending his career. One of the best talents to ever play, and they totally ruined him.
I've watched football fanatically for over forty years. Andrew is my favorite player ever. This video actually correctly states how he absolutely carried those Colts teams. It was disgusting people booing him.
It's tough to drag me through a 40 some minute video. Gjob! I was thoroughly interested in the story of what happened to him. From here in Denver it was obvious Indianapolis drafted a generational talent in Luck. But ten years later & he's already out of the league... Thx for the video 🙏✌️🏈
As a Colts fan watching from home, I was disgusted by the people in the stands that booed him. Luck handed Grigson an executive of the year trophy. Grigson in turn crapped all over him and destroyed a player’s career. The good thing about Andrew Luck is that he was always more than a football player. I believe he made the right choice to retire when he did.
Andrew Luck's brief but outstanding career is a prime example of how the league grinds its players to the nub for entertainment purposes. They push the continuing illusion of competition and win possibilities, even when the truth is painfully clear. Colts owner Bob Irsay erroneously thought that he was going to win more Super Bowls with Luck than with Peyton Manning. He didn't care about either guy, he's just repeating his late father's stupid quest to be his own winner. Luck's career also reminds us as voracious sports fans to appreciate great athletes while they're on the stage....
One of, probably even the, biggest what if's in NFL history. I feel so sad for Luck. He couldve been an alltime great, but sadly the Colts fu**ed up in any way possible and not only destroyed his body, but also took his will to compete. Its just to sad!
I teared up a bit, I'm not even a Colts fan. Great video! Still bothers me that Schefter blew the whistle on his retirement, and specially the fans reaction
If the front office was just honest about his injuries, gave him the time to truly be healthy, and weren't complete headasses at giving him a protective O-line, Luck could have taken them to a superbowl. There was such a small window for him being capable of winning a championship and Mahomes not being in his way. Now the Colts will be lucky to be a deep playoff contender before the decade is up.
The thing people outside of Indy need to understand is, the Colts had a history of hiding player injuries and the severity of them to their Fans. With Manning in 2011, Luck in 2017, they drug it out that they would play those seasons. and again in the summer of 2019, a lot of the frustration and anger is not towards Luck himself, but rather a shady organization who hid this injury from fans in order to sell tickets. For Anyone who says that the Colts didn’t know Luck would retire, the Colts literally brought back Manning and Dungy to training camp less than a week prior to his retirement , saying “Luck looks good and healthy”. They did this with the full knowledge that his shoulder had not healed properly and would not play starting the season. The fact he retired a week later isn’t a coincidence. The Colts (specifically Jim Irsay) are entirely to blame for Lucks career.
I had told the person who covers the teams in Indy that I hoped that the Colts don't ruin Anthony Richardson like they did Andrew Luck and his response to me was "Andrew Luck ruined Andrew Luck". I then told him that the team's O-line and lack of running game were near the bottom of the league every year. He hasn't come back with anything. Now I am seeing your video for the first time, and it backs up everything that I told him. Well, time for me to start getting ready for fantasy football season #40 for me. I am in one of the oldest fantasy football leagues in the country, having started when some guy named Dan Marino was a senior at PITT. Thank you for the video and I'm now a subscriber.
The sports media here are a bunch of idiots. Never played the game but are experts because they have a communications degree. The one guy on radio who knew what he was talking about was Big Joe Staysniak and they fired him.
So, someone who covers the Colts, and presumably knows about everything that the Colts tried to cover up, and everything that man went through, decided that it was Andrew Luck's fault, or that he at least deserved a lion's share of the blame. That guy is bought out by Jim Irsay. There's no other explanation as to why he is bootlicking in the way he is.
Andrew Lock in my opinion was a guaranteed lock to be a top 10 all-time QB and the colts tore that away from him. I am not a colts fan yet I was genuinely heartbroken for him when he retired because of what a great man and competitor he was. I knew he left his soul on the field and there was nothing left
As a life long colts fan at 42 years old from the Bay Area… we destroyed one of the best football players of the decade because we didn’t know how to develop 1) offensive line , still can’t … 2) skill players to match our qbs skills, still can’t … when he retired during that preseason game It was the second time I cried after Peyton leaving being the first …. I pray for Richardson but god blessed us twice and we got one Super Bowl win between 98- 2023 with two all time great qbs and numerous HOF players … but it doesn’t matter if your front office doesn’t do their job when it matters most… playoff appearances where great but should have had at least 3-4 more championships
I don’t usually have an attention sp SQUIRREL an to watch 40 min videos; in fact I was only trying to make out the title, but the video automatically started so I thought I would give you a few minutes to grab me and keep me. 40 minutes later and I am still here. Sounds like what happened with Jacksonville a couple years ago with Trevor Lawrence. This year looks like the best team around him. I hope what happened to Andrew Luck doesn't happen for Trevor. It was amazing watching him play, especially as his FIRST LOSS EVER came at the hands of a second National Championship game.
Great vid! Ryan Grigson carries sole responsibility for Luck no longer playing football. Not only is he responsible for destroying this man's body, he also robbed him of his love of playing the game! I don't know how in the hell Grigson still has a cushy job in the NFL managing personnel, but this man should have been met public castration by Colta fans for how poorly he managed the franchise.
I almost forgot about Bradshaw! He came from the Giants and I think it was the 2014 season, his stats weren't eye popping but he was a nice pickup! I remember him stepping up and made some highlight plays when we needed some and was a weapon as a receiver too! Those Andrew Luck years bring back such nostalgia, I was so mad and upset when he retired and resented it at first but the older I got and the more I heard why I understood and have tons of respect for him.
I work at Stanford and we would get tickets to the collage games when Luck was playing... what a blast to watch him play, wish his NFL career went better for him.
Between the team not surrounding him with the talent he needed to succeed and the fans booing him after his retirement announcement, I've grown to dislike the Colts franchise entirely.
I’m ngl, not a colts fan but I live like 20 min from Lucas oil and I remember people literally constantly pointing out the issues laid out in the video as Lucks career was unfolding. Sad to see how bad the colts treated a potential goat
I met Andrew, his Parents, and his Wife the night of the 2018 NFL Honors Ceremony. That was the night that he won the NFL Comeback Player of The Year Award, after coming off the jury. Really cool guy, and great family. I don’t know this man from a can of paint, but he didn’t seem like a man that was happy to have just won that award. Especially after all that he went through the previous season. Maybe he was just overwhelmed with the entire day’s activities, and was just exhausted. But when it leaked that he was retiring, it wasn’t even shocking to me, because I instantly thought back to that night.. I saw it in his eyes. I don’t even blame him, honestly. And this is coming from a diehard Colts fan.
The fact that Andrew Luck didn’t give that team and their ungrateful fans a finger as he walked out says what kind of man he is. The guy not only was a stellar football player, but an exceedingly intelligent man. Tough as iron. I have a hell of a lot of respect for Andrew Luck.
This subject as a colts fan sucks. I think the difference between the 2 picks was the regime they were drafted in. I truly believe that the Colts roster is a lot better now than it was in 2012 when luck was drafted. Ballard is definitely a better Gm and it sucks that looking back on it, Ballard came in too late and the mental toll on luck left him a choice he felt he had to make was to retire.
I know people feel strongly about their favorite team, so please understand I’m not “attacking” the Colts or their fans. I’m not a fan nor a hater, just looking at this objectively: sooooo many analysts are saying Richardson is raw talent, an amazing athlete but not NFL-ready. If the majority of the media is correct, Richardson needs to sit and learn behind a veteran. Since Indy doesn’t have a franchise QB right now it’s likely Richardson will start this season, probably early. I hope he doesn’t struggle early and end up flaming out as a result. I root for players, I’d like to see him be successful. I’m just not sure (if the media is to be believed) that any team that’s going to expect him to start as a rookie is gonna put him in a situation to succeed. A lot of that is mental tho; maybe he’s mentally tough enough to make it through early struggles. Some guys (Ryan Leaf and Carson Wentz come to mind) seem to have been ruined mentally by their situation. I wish Richardson and the Colts lots of success. Since you ARE a Colts fan: you probably share my opinion that Manning is the goat. If he spent his career in Brady’s place (or just didn’t have a career that coincided with the Pats dominance) Manning would have at least six rings and most people would share my opinion that he, not Brady, is the best QB in history. Manning changed the way the game is played.
Thanks for this recap. It is sad how such a dedicated, talented player was physically and mentally destroyed. Granted, he got paid well, but I'm glad he retired while his body was still (seemingly) intact. Maybe, he can just rest and try to not get destroyed every week.
What you didn’t mention is the changes in the front office after 2016 when Ryan Grigson the man responsible for putting a terrible line in front of Luck and almost literally killing him was fired and the improvements you mentioned between 2017 and the start of 2018 were orchestrated by current Colts GM Chris Ballard. While fans did boo him in the stadium the majority of us Colts fans were actually just sad and heartbroken but we understood why he made the decision to retire. He was taken for granted for sure and it didn’t help that we went from all time great Peyton Manning to the best prospect ever in Andrew Luck so nobody in recent memory had lived through QB hell like most fans do before they get the guy.
This makes me respect certain owners less and less. I get we as fans get on the players for being divas or pampered at times, but situations like this are proof as to why they’re 100% looking out for themselves more. After Luck retired, the mentality shift from players was super apparent. They know owners will sacrifice them in order to get people in seat and make a profit
I've never been more happy for a player to say enough is enough. I'm a Patriots fan and have nothing but 10million percent admiration for Luck, I wish he was drafted by a team who didn't treat him like a garbage can he would have been awesome to watch in his older prime years.
I'm glad I watched this video for a few reasons. Something about Andrew luck just rubbed me wrong when he was in college and when Indianapolis drafted him. All the hype surrounded him being manning replacement didn't help. I'm from California and I'm a raider fan so not too much in common with the Indianapolis colts or Andrew luck. I failed to recognize he was so good because they never won a Superbowl I guess. I hadn't a clue he was so beaten up. I didn't realize the colts treated him terribly. Indianapolis fans should be ashamed for demoralizing him not appreciating his sacrifices. I wish I would have viewed him different recognizing him for giving to the game everything he had. I really do. Great video and now I know Andrew luck is a bad ass.. .
Damn just imagine if the Colts decided to rest Luck when he first injured his shoulder. If they woulda just let him get fully healthy and confident things probably woulda turned out way different for the entire organization

yeah Ben had some sexual allegations against him too, I never bother to check what they were cause who gives a fuck, it's 99% chances fake news anyways.
A couple of things you should have mentioned: In his rookie season, Bruce Arians was the interim head coach while Chuck Pagano was getting cancer treatment. Also the 2014 divisional game was not the first time Luck beat Peyton. He beat him in the regular season in 2013.
I caught that too. I don't know why he didn't mention it. He does the research on these things. It's really weird he didn't see that luck and the colts already beat manning and the broncos.
@@charliehofmann3524 guess cause this felt more major than a regular season victory which I can see for sure especially with it being the divisional round and all. And what seemed to be one of Peyton’s last biggest games at the time.. Just my two cents.
This might be a hot take, but the Colts are low key one of the worst ran and underachieving franchises in the NFL. Since drafting Peyton they’ve won a single Super Bowl with super stacked teams. Every year they fall short of expectations.
I’d go a step further. They’re one of the most underachieving franchises in all of sports throughout their whole history. They had Johnny Unitas, Peyton Manning, and Andrew Luck, and they only have 2 super bowls to show for it. People like to give the packers a hard time because Rodgers only won one Super Bowl, but at least they have 4 rings in the bank.

Andrew Luck is like Barry Sanders. They both could have kept playing at a high level for awhile, but both chose to walk away due to franchise malpractice. @@ErikCB912 good example! Johnson had something left in the tank for sure.

The fact that Andrew Luck carried this franchise to 3 straight playoff appearances with a below average defense and no run game is incredible.

They also mismanaged Peyton’s career. Also, the owner caught a DUI that got suspended for 5 games. I didn’t even know an owner could get suspended.

This man chose his family health and happiness over a career of pain and people couldn’t understand. Thanks for the video
It's like people think their actually on the team
Sad to think that he might still be playing if he'd been drafted elsewhere. He was a cool dude.
Yeah, that was ridiculous the way he was treated. He carried that team with no offensive line. He was a brilliant player. He deserved better.
Just sucks to not be able to see what Luck could have truly done and will always feel for him and how his career ended up.
One of the most underrated and overlooked athletes of all time 💯
What's crazy is that we only got to see the bottom of his potential and it was still Top 10. We can only imagine what his ceiling would have been on a better team and healthy.
Imagine if Andrew Luck went to New England or Pittsburgh. He would have been a hall of famer. It's a shame what happened to him.
Same could be said about Bert Jones 35 years before.
Great QB.....Long time Dolphins fan and i remember him well. He was a nemisis and he was a baller!!!!!
Well luck is a grown man. He was a big enough Star to say no I’m hurt. I need to heal.
Great video. Luck was a stud and it’s unfortunate to see how the colts treated him behind the scenes.
I love these videos. You do such a good job making these. Top tier content and I cant wait for the next one
👍 Happy to be watching another TFrog video. 😩 It’s been a long 12 days. I find your work sometimes painful….but, always informative.
This is absolutely damning. If I was in the draft, I would tell the Colts to not even think about drafting me, and that I would never play for their organization.
Big Ben being named Kevin Spacey is a top tier player comp
Thought it was nutz that I would watch 40 min of Indy and Luck. Very good pace, good highlights, and very good stats. Loved it!
If you don't think colts fans blamed Ryan Grigson, you clearly weren't paying attention
Missed you last week bro. Good to see you back dropping another banger as always
Luck was such a beast. Miss watching him play. He would have a SB already but he made the best choice for him and his family.
@bradsalluom6050 The Colts did the same thing with Bert Jones when they were still in Baltimore, too.
“After taking repeated hits his neck couldn’t hold his forehead anymore” 😭
Cries in Green Bay Packer 😂
I don’t usually have an attention sp SQUIRREL an to watch 40 min videos; in fact I was only trying to make out the title, but the video automatically started so I thought I would give you a few minutes to grab me and keep me. 40 minutes later and I am still here. Why? It’s easy, your script was crisp, your structure was solid and your flow was flawless; you should be proud of yourself young man, this, in my opinion, is professional grade. I’m proud of you.
Couldn't holding his "FOREHEAD " any longer ! That's great ! I love it ! Much respect for you making this joke.
He deserved so much better he’s still one of my favorite players ever and one of those guys u had watch to know how great and special he was
Ya he looked so good with Stanford. U could just tell he was the real deal
Yeah he deserved MORE than the hand he was dealt in life.
I picked up Bradshaw on waivers that year, and I was surprised he was that solid.
I remember watching that preseason game when the news broke. Seeing Indianapolis fans boo him off the field was a truly sickening sight.
Keep making this style of videos
Robert Irsay did the city of Baltimore a favor by moving the team as Baltimore winds up getting a better team.
@@jluchette yea pretty much
Thanks for this recap.
Colta could've won multiple Superbowl with Andrew Luck. But instead, look at them now.
This video made me cry, pretty much. People are horrible. The earth needs a major change.
I honestly forgot the colts even existed. Truly a team in the nfl
You're not a real fan of the NFL then if you forget a team exists in the NFL.

Hi, I new. What does the joke with Kevin Spacey mean? Was it about ripe allegations for both men?
Cause the Space taker, just got aquitted and Ben Rothlesburger, I know from Pittsburg. Did he do
An S.A.too?
Please lmk
Thanks.
yeah Ben had some sexual allegations against him too, I never bother to check what they were cause who gives a fuck, it's 99% chances fake news anyways.
A couple of things you should have mentioned:
In his rookie season, Bruce Arians was the interim head coach while Chuck Pagano was getting cancer treatment.
Also the 2014 divisional game was not the first time Luck beat Peyton. He beat him in the regular season in 2013.
I caught that too. I don't know why he didn't mention it. He does the research on these things. It's really weird he didn't see that luck and the colts already beat manning and the broncos.
@@charliehofmann3524 isn't manning peyton like 25 years older than andy luck? the fug is wrong with you boy?
@@charliehofmann3524 guess cause this felt more major than a regular season victory which I can see for sure especially with it being the divisional round and all.
And what seemed to be one of Peyton’s last biggest games at the time..
Just my two cents.
A generational talent and by all accounts, a better man. My favorite Andrew Luck moment is still him blowing up USC's Shareece Wright in 2010.
@@ErikCB912 100% agree. Just look at how many hall of famers that mid 2000s colts team had. Say what you will about the patriots, but they never had half the roster the colts did of that era.
@@ErikCB912 You forgot Bert Jones. One of the best Quarterbacks of his era, done in by a separated shoulder that he had to play through, because once again, incompetent front office.
Damn! I remember Luck having injury issues and having a nonexistent o-line but this is another level. I would've retired too. That money doesn't matter if you can barely walk by age 40
