Eli makes the argument that a QB can make a team. They were never good. They had some good pieces, but they have good pieces today, too. Only difference? Today, they don't have Eli

You cannot talk about the NFL over an 8 year period without Eli Manning. That's a Hall of Fame player. Love him or hate him.
Eli manning is 118-118 his entire career. I feel like thats the biggest testimate to his hot and cold skill set Edit; to be clear im not arguing either way to his hof status
Not his fault he was bad as a rookie like most rookies. Than led the giants to 8 straight winning seasons multiple playoff appearances and 2 Superbowl championships, he was still playing at a high level from 2013 to 2016 when the team fell apart around him, he wasn't good after 2016
Besides Eli Manning, only 5 other players in NFL history have multiple Super Bowl MVPs. Brady, Mahomes, Montana, Starr, and Bradshaw. Yes there were some ugly moments in his career, but come playoff time, Eli turned into regular season Peyton.
Dropped 17 and 21 points in each superbowl. His defense holding the Pats to 23 and 15 points below their average ppg is how they won those superbowls. Eli simply did his scoring enough points
Eli won 2 Superbowls against Brady, from behind. And one of those prevented the Patriots' perfect season. Add on 210 straight starts? I think it's a yes for the Hall of Fame.
@@dfp_01 Probably Just Tuck or JPP. Without that defense holding the Patriots to 23 and 15 points below their season averages, Eli's mere 17 and 19 points are blowouts.
One you forgot to mention about Eli’s resume: He was named Walter Payton Man of the Year which is something that the hall of fame committee takes VERY seriously. As they should.
Not gonna discredit the award or the significance of receiving it but there’s really no reason to mention it concerning someone’s HOF chances. What does him being a good man(which I am in no way saying isn’t important or a good thing that more people should strive to be) have to do with his ability to throw a football? There are tons of guys in the HOF who were,in their playing days, definitely on Santa’s naughty list.
@@Jrseydevil Actually, behavior/decision making off the field can impact the Halls decision making and if a player, like Eli, is on the edge of being a Hall of Famer, you take every positive you can. Even players who should've been in the Hall, often wait years as punishment (such as Alex Karras). For a player not considered on the edge though, it's not as important and I get why you'd question it. It's kinda like how the Hall reportedly will pass on a defensive player to next years list immediately nowadays if they don't have a ring (despite it being a team sport). Anything that can stop your name from getting veto'd, and keep the talk going is a big deal. The more time they spend talking the more it helps these edge cases.
@@Gungho73 I suppose I see your point. I mean it is a piece of hardware for the professional trophy case, it’s right next to the Super Bowl MVPs. I guess I’m only really questioning it because as much as I do think the award should get more attention then it does, if we’re talking about athletes going down as a HOF caliber player we gotta keep it to the sport. I don’t think this is gonna happen but what if people wanna leave Aaron Rodgers out of the hall because of his personal off the field choices and habits and what not? It’s just a slippery slope in my opinion.
@@JrseydevilIt's much more of a problem in baseball for some reason. Rodgers will get in off his statistical profile without much question. But also if you look at the list of WPMOTY winners or Bart Starr award winners you won't find a lot of nobodies. It's an award that signifies a player's excellence both on and off the field.
The guy was 117-117. He was 42-48 against the NFC East and 19 of those wins came against the Redskins who were something like 100-150 in that time span. He was never even the best QB in the 4 team NFC East, much less one of the best in the league.
Just here to remind Tubfrog Brady has a losing record to NFC East teams in the playoffs. These are: -losing TWICE to the Giants in the SB, including one where NE was the one seed and undefeated and NY was the worst (or second worst?) seed. -Losing to the Eagles in the SB. An Eagles team with THEIR BACKUP QB under center. -Getting his and the Bucs’s ass kicked by the cowboys in the wildcard, which was also his final game.
Who is his competition? It’s basically between Eli and Phil Simms. Yeah, Tarkenton had a cup of coffee with the Giants and they had YA Tittle at the end of his career. Kerry Collins was decent for a few years, but by the time you get much further back than Tittle, it’s a different game.
I will never forget the giants 2007 play off run/Super Bowl win. That shit was glorious and still the greatest Super Bowl I ever saw. Eli is most definitely a hall of Famer for both of those upsets alone. People still talk about the helmet catch! It’s still consider one of if not not the greatest Super Bowl play OF ALL TIME! Oddly enough though watching that 2007 NFC championship @ lambeau with my dad who is a giants fan made me a fan of the Green Bay packers lol.
I watched that 2007 super bowl with friends in Canada. We were...well into a scotch bottle in the 4th quarter. So while we did see the helmet catch live, our drunk asses were really unsure if we actually were watching reality. Genuinely one of the greatest games ever, especially giving the Patriots the ultimate blemish on their "perfect" season.
People need to remember that Eli's throw was a dot after slipping multiple sack attempts, only to have Tyree hold onto that ball despite future HOF Rodney Harrison having a firm hold on his catching arm and Tyree getting bend backwards the entire time! The entire game has moments of sheer willpower, determination, and grit that drove the NYG to victory all because of the crucible of the away game victories they had to survive over the season. They enter the playoffs as the #5 seed, face the #4 seed, (TB) #1 seed (DAL), and #2 seed (GB) - all AWAY games only to face the unbeaten and record breaking offensive juggernaut of a Brady lead NE team!

@@jakebuchsbaum3348 You mean it was unreal when Eli needed 58 attempts for 316 yards and 2 TDs? When half his points came off of drives that started inside the 49er's 30, including the game winner? And outside of that, he crossed midfield in only 3 of 15 other drives? On top of all that, he barely beat a team that was 1/13 on 3rd down and outside of one play, the opposing QB barely had 100 yards. Remind me what he did on the "game winning drive".... Oh, that's right. He handed the ball off 3 times and had a -2 yard rush. Give that man a game winning drive!!!!! And let's not forget about MULTIPLE dropped interceptions. Is that the game you are referring?
He led two of the most improbable post season runs in the super bowl era and got two trophies for his trouble. Plus he is undefeated against the greatest dynasty in NFL history in the super bowl. That alone is all that is needed for me. He's a hall of famer. He's not the greatest, but he did legendary things regardless.
You do realize that he made it to the playoffs more than 2007 and 2011, right? And let's say that the wizard looked more like a court jester in twice as many "SB runs".
It's eminently funny that if Eli got to the playoffs, he'd either lose right away or win the Super Bowl. No deep runs that fell short, no wild card wins followed by divisional round exits, just the fullest extent of the phrase "all or nothing."
@@dfp_01 You mean lose badly like he did all the other times he went to the playoffs? 0-4, 3 blowouts, 1 shutout, a combined 3 TDs, 7 ints, 1 game over 169 yards, 57 passer rating. Because what I saw was Eli struggling to win against playoff teams 6-25 points below their averages. Basically, multiple QBs having one of their worst games of he season and Eli still barely managed to win. I'm not sure how you can think that was Eli who won those games.
He was also 117-117, never in the running for MVP, never an all pro, never led in any QB stat other than interceptions (x3), and had a below average passer rating.
I'll say it until the end of time: Manning was more clutch than Montana in the playoffs. Dude has absolute ice water in his veins and could NOT be shook.

@ Romo could have made any team better. Through 2015, Romo won 61.4% of his games. And a lot of them were won by him and lost by the Cowboys. When he was out because of injury, that same team won 30%. Yeah, the Cowboys were a mess under Romo, but he made them much better.

@@zlinedavid Moreover, with the rule changes that have occurred it is incredibly unlikely we will see someone replicate what Hester did at his height much less his career. Gates? The TE position has increasingly become catch first block almost never. Statistically he could get a bit buried over time. I have never been a Giants fan and never particularly rooted for Eli, but the dude deserves the gold jacket. Two Super Bowl rings over amazing competition and solid stats at the end of his career, it should be a no brainer. Also. He is currently 12th with 244 on the career list for passes intercepted. Favre is the top with 336. Manning did damn well.
As a giants fan, let’s just tank and draft Arch Manning in two years. Danny Pennies looks like Eli Manning in a Hallmark movie actor about the Manning family.
I was against him being a 1st ballot, but after learning, Dan Fouts and Warren Moon were 1st ballot HOFs with .500 records , Eli should be in with his 2 Super Bowl runs beating the GOAT twice and one of the times against a historical great team attempting to go undefeated. Eli was a two-time Super Bowl MVP. Nameth was less than .500, but he was a 3rd ballot because his stats sucked as well.
My dad use to always say that those two Giants teams were the definition of peaking at the right moment. Eli for whatever you think of his career, delivered the two times it really counted.
The season Eli threw for 4900 yards and 29 tds, 15 of them came in the fourth quarter, nfl record. Before the tyree helmet catch he almost got sacked in that play. Clutch!!!!
Um, that means through 75% of the game, Eli threw a mere 14 TDs. Where was he the first 3/4 of the game? And he was clutch needing one of the luckiest plays in NFL history to barely beat a team that was being held to 23 points below their season average?
As a Jets fan, it always drove me nuts listening to Giants fans piss and moan about Eli. I would cut off a finger to have had as good of a quarterback during that era. Eli was tough, humble, and clutch.
A lot of people never bring this up about Eli’s career: He didn’t have a losing season as a starter until after his 2nd SB. If unforseen circumstances made him retire after SB46, he would’ve retired with a 69-50 career record, 185/129 TD-INT ratio, and 2 Super Bowls/SBMVP’s in an 8 year career, one more than his brother. He also set the NFL record for 4th quarter TD’s that 2011 year, perfectly showcasing his clutch gene. None of those numbers jump out at you but it easily tells the story of a QB who overachieved despite what he was given. That’s about as unbiased as I can be with that take because I’m a diehard Giants fan and Eli made my childhood with those SB’s. If you ask me he deserves the gold jacket and a statue built in the middle of Times Square 😂 great video
The years since Eli retired have been incredibly kind to his legacy. Looking back, it seems wild how “for granted” we treated elite QB play in the league during Eli’s era. I think the intervening couple of years have really shown us just how hard what he did actually was.
From a Giants fan. He deserves to be on the hall for the simple fact that he gave the Giants the greatest moments ever in all of sport with what he did in the 07 SB alone. The fact he went and proved it wasn’t a fluke solidifies it for me
It's always going to be debatable on if he's a Hall of Famer or not but him being the Patriots Slayer is an absolute. And hey you can definitely say what you want about his regular stats but still both times on the Big Stage, he showed up and got it done
Eli manning is basically Bob Griese. Griese had an undefeated season, defense and run game. Eli took down an undefeated season, had a defense and a run game. Both had two super bowls. About the same amount of pro bowls. Bob should not be in the hall of fame but because of the historical implications and being on that team he is. Same with Eli. They both were in the right place at the right time. Both played well at times but both struggled when they were carrying the weight themselves. Eli did carry that 2011 team but was inconsistent majority of his career.
In 2011 Eli single handedly won them that ring. Bottom 10 defense and I think 31st ranked oline. If he doesn't make that clutch sideline throw to Manningham they lose, that simple
@@LembeckIsStaying Who would you compare Eli to if not Bob Griese. Teams aside. Obviously the Dolphins were better. Bob and Eli are the most comparable as far as accolades. Unless, there is someone else. Some people are saying Jim Plunkett. Maybe Joe Theismann. But then again is Eli HOF worthy.
@@hyabusa1 Things that Eli fans overlook..... Bottom 10 defense? Maybe in the season, but not the postseason. Held the opposition to an average of 14 points, none over 20, and 1 shutout. Eli still barely managed to win half those games. I don't know about the oline, but the rushing offense was dead last. Not surprising since they were bottom 3rd in the league in attempts. But, still 7th in TDs, and 1 away from tied for 3rd. Shhhhhhhhh..... Eli fans don't want you to know this!
It's the Hall of FAME. It's not really about stats, it's about MOMENTS. I'm a Vikings fan, but Eli Manning created some of the most memorable footballs moments I've ever experienced. He *obviously* belongs in the HOF.
Eli should absolutely be in the HoF. First ballot? Maybe not, but the mark he left on the league & his legendary SB wins justify his spot. There are tons of players in Canton more because of their impact than their career stats. Eli should get in based on that alone.
Eli showed up when it mattered most, which I don’t think you can discount when it comes to the HOF discussion. It isn’t just stats - it’s WHEN you hit the gas and go on a hot streak (see also the 2023 Chiefs). Philip Rivers, OTOH, would be amazing in the regular season, beat up on a few teams in the playoffs, then lay down so the Patriots could roll over the Chargers. It was Phil’s job to clear the way for Tom to get another ring.
He showed up when it mattered most? Is that why he only won games in 2 of 6 postseasons. And you might want to look at those train wrench games from the other 4 "SB runs".....
It's a travesty that this is even being debated. In what world is a two time superbowl MVP not a hall of famer? No matter how you look at it, he carried his team to two Superbowls and beat the GOAT twice on the biggest stage. Who else can claim to be 2-0 against the GOAT on the biggest stage? Those two games alone make him a hall of famer.
Exactly. People are already calling Lamar Jackson a surefire Hall of Famer because he's got two regular-season MVPs. Shouldn't the Super Bowl MVP be that much greater an achievement?
@dfp_01 I kinda get what you're saying, but I feel like a regular season MVP is a greater personal achievement. It's awarded based on your performance for an entire season as opposed to one game. It's also chosen from a much larger pool of players, meaning there's a lot more competition for the award. On top of all that, you need a great team to reach the Superbowl and even have the chance to compete for the SBMVP. Lamar winning two MVPs definitely makes him a lock for the HOF. Only 11 players in history have won multiple MVPs, Lamar is in exclusive company. That being said, Eli should absolutely be in the Hall.
I love the homemade graph…you are as good as you think. I can’t stand Eli but he is the clutch master. Look at the “best” now days and clutch is so important. Like the other posts I agree…you don’t just beat Tom in those days if your are not a HOF qb in your own right.
SheGotSports with the most overplayed and shallowest rebuttal. Like jeez, the qb of the winning super bowl team got the mvp? what a shocker! justin tuck deserved one of them anyway. and first ballot for having a great defense? cmon. 2 super bowls can get you in the hall, but first ballot is insanity
I was a giants fan throughout the entire Manning era. I was 13 when he was drafted and when I cared for Football. Those SB wins will always be my favorite moments in sports history. This was a very well written and produced piece, Eli absolutely belongs in the HoF ✊️
As an(admittedly spoiled) Patriots fan, I don't think I will ever get over that 2007 "almost perfect season." That game may have been the most frustrating Patriots(or even sports in general(though now that I think about it, there have been some doozies from the Red Sox too)) game I've ever had to watch. Especially because, for some inexplicable reason, the Giants have always been my least favorite NFL team. And they come to the Super Bowl with Eli freaking Manning? Competing against the greatest season of the greatest QB in NFL history? Nah. Fuck that dude.
Eh, Plunkett was like Nick Foles with a second ring. If Nick Foles won a second ring in a similar fashion he won his first and the rest of his career was the same, would you think he’s a hall of famer?
@@BasketballBeastWiam Nick Foles never played a full NFL season and was a backup for most of his career. While Eli otherwise wasn’t great, he spent his entire career on the giants, had a few decent years, and he made four pro bowls. He was definitely better than Foles
@@ErikCB912 the only thing we’re measuring Eli on is the fact the giants won two against the patriots. If we’re doing that, him and Nick foles are on the same plane and foles had a way more impressive outing against the pats.
I don’t recall the Giant’s defense orchestrating two of the greatest game winning drives in the history of the game. That was Eli Manning. He led his offense to victory twice in the Super Bowl by making multiple plays that we still hold as potentially the best clutch passes ever. Eli threw those passes. Eli avoided those game sealing sacks and stayed level headed enough to still make some of the best throws we will probably ever see from a QB. To say the Giant’s defense was solely responsible for the Super Bowl wins is honestly laughable. Yes, those defenses held firm. They are all time great units. They had the GOAT flustered and running for his life on every play. They did their job so Eli could do his. They all deserve credit. Especially Eli Manning. A quarterback is by far the most important player on any team. Teams win or lose mostly on the play of their guy under center. Eli was clutch on the biggest stage in the world against the greatest QB and dynasty we’ll probably ever see. He’s a Hall of Famer. No question about it. Anyone that disagrees clearly doesn’t understand the purpose of the NFL’s Hall of Fame.
The clutch stats communicate the experience best. Those 5 years of Eli's prime, if a game really mattered and it was close, you felt unnaturally calm knowing that Eli was the one with the ball. He didn't win them all, obviously, but you felt like he gave you the best shot you were gonna get. There are so few quarterbacks whose entire demeanor changed in those high-stakes situations. Most of them live up to their regular season selves. Playoffs Eli was a different beast, as long as the team could keep things close.
I think Eli should be a HoFer because 1: he has two SB rings which doesn’t happen also against the SAME GUY which is even more rare considering who it was on the other side of the field. 2: we have other HoFer’s that haven’t won a SB yes they were WAY more consistent than Eli, Dan Marino a Dolphins legend was great and same with Randy Moss but both don’t have rings. I’m taking in how he played when it mattered the playoffs that alone for me is why is deserves to be in the HoF.
As a Giants fan, it was kind of fun having Eli as a QB, even in the worst years. His inconsistency meant that anything could happen. You never knew what the game would have in store. He's one of the few QBs who achieved both a perfect and a zero passer rating.
@@K37-h1zEhh he had a good cast of offense folks too now lol. If we do agree that football is a team sport from the most important and even the most minor of folks, they all had a role they played and they did it well even Eli himself. I’m not too torn on it. I know it was eventually expected anyway and I will find it cool. As what’s even been said in the whole discussion comment thread (not this one) we have had NFL QBs or just NFL players in general get into the hall for less spectacular accolades or with 0 rings in general but either with some spectacular accolades or very little for less. So yeah…I don’t know what to tell ya here man other maybe vote for a ton of no’s with yourself and a few friends lol
@@SpiralIntoAVoid And Marino is still remembered as an all time great QB without a Superbowl. We can’t say the same about Manning his only case are those 2 playoff runs
It was a wild time as a giants fan with lots of highs and lows. Dude would make me pull my hair out or cheer like crazy. Two trophies in the case on his watch. Love ya Eazy
You mean that Eli has more yards in 4 games than pro bowl/MVP QBs do in 3? That's amazing! The reality is that Eli only averaged 305 yards/game. At least 13 other QBs have more than that, but only played in a max of 3 games because of a bye. His yards/attempt are 19th all-time. That's a far cry from #1. Basically, he threw a lot for below average results. There is nothing really special about that.
I’ll say this. Eli will probably enter the HoF because he’s a Manning and is well respected, but if you ask me, he hasn’t really done that much outside of those two Super Bowl years especially still having the most interceptions than anybody at this point since 2004. However, if I would use the logic that “since the playoffs matter more than the regular season”, then having two really good playoff runs that ended with a rings against Brady would be a big accomplishment for a career. Being clutch, I will say is a great way to judge QB in his career, but I don’t know if he should be in the HoF. So far, Tub has done a pretty good job breaking down the timeline of Manning’s career.
Eli manning doesn’t have a HoF career nor was he a great QB.. he was above average.. Eli Manning himself didn’t beat the GOAT.. The Giants beat the Patriots.. the HoF isn’t a team award it’s an individual award and Eli Manning doesn’t have a HoF resume and that’s a fact.. average HoF resume has 2 all pros and 4 pro bowls.. Eli has 4 pro bowls but 0 all pros.. he also has 57k yards, 366 TDs, 244 INTs, 4895/8119 completions and 60.3 completion %.. you know who will get the Hall of Fame nod over Eli in Eli’s HoF class?? Philip Rivers.. Rivers has 8 pro bowls and 63440 yards, 421 TDs, 209 INTs, 5277/8134 completions and 64.9 completion %.. Rivers is FAR & BEYOND a better QB over Eli Manning and the stats don’t lie..
I think this nugget of info describes Eli pretty accurately: Eli is 8-4 in the playoffs in his career. Those wins came against a middling Bucs team, a Matt Ryan-led Falcons team, a win over the 1-seed 13-3 Cowboys, a win over the 1-seed 15-1 Packers (with MVP Aaron Rodgers), an NFFCG win over Favre’s Packers in his last game with the team, an NFCCG win over a 13-3 Niners team with a HoF caliber defense, and two Super Bowl wins over the Brady-Belichick Patriots dynasty, one of which denied them a perfect 19-0 season. All 8 of those wins came during his Super Bowl winning seasons. He never won a playoff game that wasn’t part of a title run. (I write this as a Giants fan who think he deserves the HoF)
From a Steelers fan, I agree. Eli is 100% a Hall of Famer. I’ll even say he’s more deserving than Big Ben. Why? Well, Ben has the stats of an all time great. His numbers are eclipsed only by names like Brees, Brady and Manning. Ben has 2 rings just like Eli. Ben also orchestrated one of the greatest game winning drives we’ve ever saw in Super Bowl XLIII. That pass to Santonio Holmes in triple coverage may be the best pass ever thrown in a NFL game. Let alone the Super Bowl. Now, as for why I say Eli is still more deserving than Ben.. it’s because Eli worked his magic on the biggest stage against the greatest QB and dynasty that we’ll probably ever see. Ben could never do that. Ben could never overcome Brady and the Patriots when it mattered. Ben has the statistical achievements that people say a HOF QB should have. Eli literally wrote the lore of what are potentially the two greatest playoff runs of l time. They’re both all time greats. Definitely belong in Canton. Still, without Eli Manning we’d be looking at a very different NFL today. That’s something I can’t say about Big Ben. He didn’t make history like Eli did.
Just name one playoff team Eli beat that scored the NFL average of 21 points. Oh, that's right. All those teams were 6-23 points below their respective season averages, which was much higher than the NFL average, and Eli still barely managed to win over half of them. Still think it was Eli that won those games?
outside of 2 TEAM playoff/SB runs, he has legit been a mediocre QB. he has ZERO all pros and literally at no point led the league in any QB stat in his entire career and his career numbers are extremely average. the HOF should hold far more merit on the accomplishments of players from an individual standpoint and not so much on rings, as teams win rings. and like I said outside of those 2 runs he has been average in every way possible. that is obviously not a HOF level career/QB
I've had this debate before. If that's the case, many guys who are in shouldn't be. Did you know Troy aikman was an absolutely horrible qb throughout his career, including all 3 superbowl runs. He is in because of his team. It happens
@dominicharris5489 maybe so, but he's got what's needed. Just like aikman, who was routinely one of the worst qbs in the league. The man averaged 15 touchdowns a year

New vid from TubFrog, I click and watch
Yeah, 15 TDs in the 4th quarter. Where was he the first 3 quarters when he had only 14 TDs?
The years since Eli retired have been incredibly kind to his legacy. Looking back, it seems wild how “for granted” we treated elite QB play in the league during Eli’s era.
I think the intervening couple of years have really shown us just how hard what he did actually was.
He’s one of the greatest postseason QBs ever with 2 sb and 2 sb MVPs he’s getting in end of story

Eh, Plunkett was like Nick Foles with a second ring. If Nick Foles won a second ring in a similar fashion he won his first and the rest of his career was the same, would you think he’s a hall of famer?
@@ErikCB912Eli manning didn’t make the playoffs 14 times. He is Nick foles.
Just recognition and what he brought to the game, is enough. He showed up, played, did his job. ✌️🏈
bro finally made a giants video
Eli Manning is the GOAT, beat brady twice
The Giants defense beat Brady twice.
@@bigchungus1848 nah eli the goat
@@bigchungus1848Oh please. Brady’s defense bailed him out for most of his career.
@@JahWontPayTheBillcome up for air
My dad is a giants fan and I grew up in the 2000s . Eli got my pops to see the giants win 2 Super Bowls. He’s a hall of famer for me
ELI is the Goat Slayer
Yeah, the way he played defense and held Brady to 23 and 15 points below his season average was amazing!
The clutch map does help make sense why I got into football because of Eli. It was exciting
A vid on my fav player of all time. Thanks Frog
The man locked in when it mattered, and made himself into a legend off of 2 LEGENDARY SB runs. He's a HoF player for the storytelling alone
Who cares if you're the worst of the best? You're still among the best.
My glorious king Eli
He beat the Patriots. That one achievement alone gets him my vote.
Being below average and carried through both postseasons is hardly a qualification for the HoF.
As a Giants fan, it was kind of fun having Eli as a QB, even in the worst years. His inconsistency meant that anything could happen. You never knew what the game would have in store. He's one of the few QBs who achieved both a perfect and a zero passer rating.
He's still a cute little forty-two year old kid, isn't he ? Right off the adult Pop Warner lot ! LOL 😊 🏈
This was a great one man thanks for all your work
Regular season stats are meaningless without a Super Bowl win. You play to win the game.
Dan Marino would like to have a word
@@Sea_StallionIf only Miami gave him a really good defense in his prime years.
If only..
His defense won those rings not him
@@K37-h1zEhh he had a good cast of offense folks too now lol.
Ten minutes in falling asleep but boy do I enjoy the story of Brady going down
Me when the Eli is Manning or something idk im not a giants fan
It was a wild time as a giants fan with lots of highs and lows. Dude would make me pull my hair out or cheer like crazy. Two trophies in the case on his watch. Love ya Eazy
ELI IS THE GOAT. Most passing yards in a single playoff run of all time. 2 time Super Bowl mvp and champion and Tom Brady’s kypronite!!!
So far, Tub has done a pretty good job breaking down the timeline of Manning’s career.
elg minging
Thanks TubFrog!
Below average that played a long time. In 9 of 16 years, his passer rating was below the NFL average.
I think this nugget of info describes Eli pretty accurately:
Eli is 8-4 in the playoffs in his career.
It happens
@@Giantsfanlewis yeah youre right, in that case many qbs shouldnt be in, but that doesnt justify eli being in the HOF. hes simply not a HOF caliber QB
@dominicharris5489 maybe so, but he's got what's needed. Just like aikman, who was routinely one of the worst qbs in the league. The man averaged 15 touchdowns a year
The dude beat the friggin undefeated patriots in the Super Bowl on his first time to the big game. Put him in the hall of fame
