The From column takes up an inordinate amount of screen. I also don't want the importance column, or those other thing on the left.

Thanks for info Scott! I've got a petty issue. How do you block senders profile pic/avatar from their emails? Ex- I get an annoying email from an equally annoying person. I realize its probably me not them but is there a fix for this?

I see a long list of items beginning with Manage Accounts. I am trying to get my view to be the new gmail view. I don't know what I am looking at. Please help.
Conversation view does not work for shared mailboxes. If you reply to an email with a generic subject it will include all other emails with the same subject, regardless of whether or not they are part of the same thread

You can block the sender as a whole. But I'm not aware of a way to just block the profile pic itself.
When the hell did they put multiple inbox options in?! I need that so badly for Work from Home!

Got rid of Hangouts and now I can actually see my labels
I've only got a tablet, I want to stop the split screen when I open an email. I don't have a mouse. Cheers Rosemary Perth Western Australia 72yrs
The meet & chat views can be hidden by clicking the hangouts icon that's in the bottom left, right behind your logo. Fewer clicks, same result.
would be nice if you could change the conversation in the other direction so the newest is on top!
