This video takes a look at the 240bhp - 500nm torque boasting beast with 4X4 for added grip. Skoda have added the Kodiaq to their RS stable and I've the tough job of reviewing it for you to watch!

My brother just picked up a Skoda Kodiaq RS in Race Blue yesterday and he is delighted!
Some great little simply clever extras.
(The door protector is an extremely clever feature.)
Sent him on your review and his decision was made. 👍

Fantastic review. Long been a Skoda fan, had 42 in 30 years of driving, and this beast is definitely on my wish list.

    I’ve got one (I’m in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿).
Thoroughly fantastic vehicle in all respects.

Really nice review. Have had the RS for a year now and I can sum it up as you said, "So many personalities". Great at all the practicality, comfort, even economy on long distances. But best part is when you are alone and driving it in sport mode on the twisties. This is not how 7 seaters drive 🤩

Great review! I have one on order. My current one is the Octavia RS245, a lot of fun and practicality but a bit on the uncomfortable side. The Kodiaq can truly do all.

Great review. Laughed about the petrol motor comment as I had the same thought. I also own the 280HP Superb and that would be an interesting combination in this vehicle. I'm in Australia and most of the reviews in Ireland, the UK and Europe really seem to struggle with the price but other than that a really desirable car. Interestingly the RS retails here for $72k AUD which is only about 44k Euro's currently. The RS is fully optioned here also as only major option is the sunroof, side steps & metallic paint. For this reason I think they're a bargain here and that's why I've put a deposit down on one at a very reduced price from retail so am very pleased. Keep up the good work Nobby, cheers.

They’re a brilliant car, even the lesser model versions. But yes, the price of them here means you don’t see many RS ones on the road. A decent spec Sportline one here is still €50,000. Our tax system is a joke!

@@NobbyOnCars I've got a fully loaded MY21 Sportline 132 TSI on order in Sydney and after the price rise it's the equivalent of 36,000 Euro drive away and that is with every option box ticked.
Hard to figure how they can be that much dearer there.

Best review yet. Lovely car, how does it compare to the Q7.I am sure you did not want to give it back after the review😎.

Race Blue is just gorgeous, pity not an option for the regular model in Australia like they have in New Zealand.

    • @NobbyOnCars
      @NobbyOnCars  4 ปีที่แล้ว

It may happen? I know here in Ireland people have been allowed option it.

Nobby On Cars I’ll worry about when I’m serious about getting one, but I note there had been some fully optioned non-Sportline MY19 models equipped with Crater wheels in Race Blue as a limited batch. I was rather tempted but MY20 models were not much dearer. For now it seems the Race Blue will be exclusive to the RS. Which is rather silly as it means you’d have to see and know that Race Blue with the Š K O D A letters across the back are RS models, so there can still be “pretenders”.

The electric tailgate is not an optional extra.

In Ireland you pay dearly for all the optional extras.
