So therapeutic watching these videos. I love servicing my own bikes and spend too much time watching restoration/maintenance/cleaning of bikes (and cars and motorbikes). Also your voice is so calm and easy to listen to. You could have an alternate (or parallel) career narrating childrens stories. Great work

If the front brake were to be stuck like that. First you remove the wheel, then brake pads so they do not rub or hit against the fork, then you use the 5mm allen on the mounting nut and you hold it vs you loosening it, and now you twist the brake caliper instead. Usually all the crud are stuck around the mounting nut vs the actual bolt itself.

I know all about brake failure, always check your brake works before a ride

I love your videos. Thanks to you, I got the courage to strip down my bike and restore it after watching almost all of them. It took a long time, but I did it even though I'm a beginner to bike maintenance. I'm looking foward to more of your videos. Thank you!
Ps I got a torque wrench 🔧 to make sure I torque everything to manufacturer specifications 😄

Hi, I'm a bike shop owner (just a startup bike shop, really). I too do cable with heatshrink like you did on 9:22 but with heat gun and some occasional lighter here and there. It's really neat and beautiful like you wouldn't believe! very recommended but it's a bit of a hassle so you better off asking a local bike shop to do it haha ;)

The heat shrink we use you can point a heat gun at for an hour and it won’t shrink! It’s quite an industrial one. Good luck with your start up & thanks for watching! 🧡👍🏻🚲
