That S3 got out the shop riding like a S5. The bearings and the "cleaner" cockpit alone, even though that Di2 junction placed on the front on the headtube defeats the aero theme. Great and relaxing video, thank you Bikespeeds!
These service videos are truly a joy to watch. Goes to show that just about any bike in expert hands, in any state of (probably unintentional) neglect can be brought back into being a potentially fantastic ride, almost back to new.
I would be willing to move from the states to come clean bikes in your shop. I really enjoy cleaning bikes and a chance to live in the uk ride and clean bike would be a real retirement for me. Love the videos look forward to them every Wednesday
Beautiful job guys as always and great to see a well used and ridden bike and the way it has restored is testament to the quality of the components and the cervelo frame👍👍
Brilliant job. Always surprises me when people have high end bikes and don’t maintain them. It’s so easy to clean a road bike. Anyway, top job and a lovely bike.
Another great Bikespeeds servicing. I remember Auto Glm from when I was stationed in the UK. I used it on my car and it's a great product. Loved the special touch when it came to the di2 cable routing.
Great channel and such amazing work, I've just dropped off my neglected Boardman after it has been sat in the garage for years and I am confident that you will do the best you can with it. Thanks.
I absolutely love your videos. The job you do is seriously mind blowing. And I’m being dead serious. I WISH you were my local bike shop! The one thing about the videos I do not enjoy, is the music. If it could be MORE in the background, like real real quiet, it’d be great 👍🏻👍🏻!!
Ceramic bearings actually degrade much faster than steel bearings, because although the bearings themselves are ceramic coated, the races are still steel, and since they have a harder bearing rolling around them, the races wear out much faster, leading to friction losses.
This version of Di2 is getting on now, we’ve heard a couple horror stories of updates wiping older software recently so we decided not to fix what isn’t broken, thanks for watching!🧡
Hi, last winter I went for a long climb using 34-32 at -2C and wet tarmac. When I started the descent, front and back derailleurs were stuck! I suppose that the water that came into the derailleurs has frozen… maybe the grease would have helped… nice video… as always!
Great job! I have the same seat post on my Cervelo. I've had a problem with the my seat tilt slipping. It appears to be a poor design with no way to service. Has your client ever had a issue?
With this one we actually did not, we’ve seen older di2 systems be wiped from updates, they seem a bit temperamental now so when it comes to old old di2 we’re going with the “if it isn’t broken don’t fix it” mentality⚙️
They where investigated prior to starting. We don’t always show the whole process on video as it takes quite a bit of preparation to film a bike. We make sure we have all we need before starting.
Always jealous of a man that loves his work, excellent as always.
Very professional to speak about the work needed rather than talking about the riders maintenance habits.
Bikes are meant to be ridden! We love seeing a well used bike⚙️

what a result , the owner should so proud to be seen on it.
i'm curious to see the customer's face when the bike get back to him ... :o good job !
What a beautiful bike, wow!
This S3 was my dream bike back when I wanted to get into cycling years ago.

Pleasure to watch as always guys ! Attention to detail is a delight ! Keep up the good work filming and editing spot on 👍
Top work guys, rim brakes still a good stopping option less to go wrong
Simple always works!
I have a P3 from the same era with very similar componentry. So good to see you bring that bike back to near-new!
Thanks Jason they are lovely bikes for sure. 👍🏻⚙️🧡
Wow - just wow
From zero to hero

This one came up like new! ⚙️
I hang out each week for the next episode. These videos are so informative and inspiring. Thank you for uploading.

As usual, every wednesday evening I watch a Bikespeeds video :) fantastic - and also thank you to the owner of the bike =)
Definitely thanks to the owner! It’s thanks to our customers that we’re able to make these videos🧡
Agree on the shiny frames! great work!
Thanks!🧡⚙️
Beautiful bike!! I'm so close to finishing all your videos! Between your great work and relaxing voice, this is my new favorite bike resto channel
Haha well done you’re almost there!
You're a perfectionist and its nice to witness! You must be due a holiday, its scorchio outside.
That is actually why we may have to do a Q&A video, couple days off soon💪🏼
Wow this is one of your best, a total transformation. Might get a bottle if that ceramic spray
Fabulous, what a craftsman you are.
Thank you kindly🧡

We loved this one, it’s in our personal top 3
2 thumbs up from the Philippines!
👍🏼👍🏼 from us!🧡
Great advice about jockey wheels. Hadn’t thought about the bearings!
It’s actually one of our main rules!🧡⚙️
Great job! Very impressive. Wish my local bike shop was so thorough!
Thanks Mendip🧡
Wow that is some transformation
Beautiful bike and great service per usual
Wow! Another perfect rebuild!
Thanks for the love 🧡
Amazing job - would have loved to have seen the owners face when he picked it up. Cervelos owners are usually very proud of their bikes. ;)
….arguably, somewhat mistakenly…
Watching all of these videos makes me wish for a bikespeeds shop in Denmark. Keep up the great work 👍
Very kind thank you! 🇩🇰🧡
Stunning job 👌

As always, good job and thanks for the video 🙂.
Wow. Would love to take that bike out for an epic adventure.
It’s a nice bit of kit, with the colour on this one it really ticked some boxes for us
Awesome work! Bike looks brand new!
Great stuff Lee and Simon, superb again 👏🏼👏🏼

Great colour!

Would love to have a mechanic like you nearby my town. Seems your doing a great job.
Thanks Flemming🧡
Great service 👍
excellent work
Lovely job buddy
Thanks as always Leslie⚙️
Just out of interest, how much does such a thorough and comprehensive service roughly cost?
Great Work by the way :)
Great job 👏
Good work as always
Wow, fantastic job 👍
Great job😎
Awesome Job! Looks so good
Thanks Raymond🧡⚙️
Amazing bike! Love the colors! Amazing job!
We loved this one!🧡
older cervelos are beautiful
All cervelos are lol⚙️
@@Bikespeeds what do you think of de rosa king are they any good.
Nicely done mate
Thanks for watching Sherwin!⚙️
Lovely work as usual. Wish all bike shops took the care that you do. Quick question: How do you wash all the rags and microfibre towels that you use?
Often they get so dirty they’re just fit for the bin. When we do wash them however they’re just in a cold wash in the washing machine then hung to dry
Great job. Looks great
Thanks again Rhys we appreciate the support each week🧡
Nice work!
Very nice! That Di 2 controller though hanging in the front there ... ugh.
The guy is insane! wish he could sort my bike.
Thanks David!🧡⚙️
Well done.
Thanks Stan!
Great job as allways 👌🏼
But just one opinion, personal, of course, that bike, de serves a better pair of wheels 😉
Cheers from Portugal 🇵🇹
I love me a carbon fibre rimmer :) love the colour too awesome vid guys :)
The red on this was a nice change from the usual black on black trend we see!🧡

Rubbish. My ceramic BB bearings have been in my Giant defy for 11 years and they still spin like new .and the. Bike done at least 50 .000 miles
awesome job! keep it coming
See you again soon, thanks for watching as always🧡⚙️
Love!!!
Love these full bike service videos! Did you drop the fork and clean out the headset?
Love it
Very nice work!
Wow nice
Thanks Greg!🧡⚙️
Dude got himself a brand new bike now. Great work, as always. You usually show updating the firmware. Did you just not film that this time?

Superb job bringing that bike to it's full glory. How long does it normally take to do a full service?
Still a sexy bike. I wish they make a disc version of it.

I once rode through freezing fog. The leading edge of my forks had about 1/4” of ice on them and the front brake froze! The things we do!
Wow! That bike was super filthy! You sure did a nice job cleaning it up and I can imagine it was hugely satisfying!! Just subbed 😊
Thanks for watching and subbing Jcsrst!
Great job! I have the same seat post on my Cervelo. I've had a problem with the my seat tilt slipping. It appears to be a poor design with no way to service. Has your client ever had a issue?
the fly 😂😂
Remember bikes are meant to be used. You can always do a deep service like this once year and you have a new bike.
Our thoughts exactly!
Good job 👌
Why not mount the junctionbox underneath the stem?
Nice DateJust Oysterquartz
Excellent full, service. Did you test / update the DI2 software. Only asking as I saw you do it on another video 😎

Hello Bikespeeds! How many liters is your ultrasonic cleaner? Thank you!
The one we use for the videos is 6 litres
@@Bikespeeds thank you very much!
Absolutely love this bike and your video! just wondering where you get the vinyl cover fro the paint and manage to get the exactly same color? cheers!
Hi Harry these are available on www.bikespeeds.com/shop! Thank you🧡
Another great video, you mention the brake cables you use, what brand are these please ? Cheers A
Nice job!, but surprised the headset bearings weren't cleaned/investigated considering the state of the rest of the bike?
They where investigated prior to starting. We don’t always show the whole process on video as it takes quite a bit of preparation to film a bike. We make sure we have all we need before starting.
