@AkiraSudoko I go to the gym early in the AM. Like 5:45-6:45. Go home, drop kids off at school and go to work. I'm usually home between 4-5. And that's family time, chores, homework, getting ready for the next day, marriage time. Hard to juggle sometimes, but what else am I going to do besides try. You know?

Since we were discussing weight. In my dark days of things going wrong, depression with ST, and using 20-30g of kratom, eating only cookies and sweet stuff and maybe once in 3 days I would force myself to make sandwiches or scrambled eggs or potatoes. I am 6ft 6, and I weighted 145 pounds, at the time it didnt even seem like a problem to me. Had very low appetite, the effort of cooking/prepping food seemed unnecessary.
Now I eat better, workout 3 times a week, still use kratom, tapering off, now about 15g. I weight 165 pounds now, still low but trying. Doing my best, already feeling significantly better. I cant wait until I can get through the detox process and become a genuine human.
I also decided to switch now from powder (f that stuff) to dried leaves, I am not going to put my stomach and intestines though all that bs anyome. The swampy gunk was so bad for my digestion and caused bloaty constipation.

On Day 2 and I got the runs too. I'm hoping I lose weight and start working out. I usually mix my kratom with chocolate milk or orange juice and it's SO many extra calories every day just to use kratom. Went from 30 grams a day to nothing, tapering just doesn't work for me. I agree it's poison. Your videos have been so helpful man, they came at the perfect time

Congrats bro! Looking good! One of my favorite parts of quitting is getting my glow back and healthy weight. Day 11 right now after a year long relapse following 2 years off. This time around I've been eating medium doses of mushrooms since day 3 in to detox. Been rough for sure, but the psily is definitely helping me reach escape velocity from this nasty stuff. It's crazy how much kratom sneakily takes from you over time. Excited to get it all back, little by little 💯 Congrats again brother 💪

I hope you are doing well Keith, same for all of you that’s going through tough times with this stuff.
I am going to come back here and check on everyone, see if there’s any advice I can offer whenever I can.
    Much love everyone.
If you’re having a really hard time, know that you are not alone. Even though sometimes the words might not mean as much when you’re feeling a certain way, I get it. You can get through it and become a wiser and stronger person too. Addiction can be a really great teacher, I certainly learned a lot from it.
To those of you really struggling, you’re either going to learn the lesson or not, and better you learn it sooner than later!
Just accept what you know about inside. You know the truth. And it can be very painful, but it has to be done. Sometimes it takes a lifetime of repetition to learn, I hope that doesn’t happen to any of you. That’s just what I think anyway.

Like what did you notice were the negative consequences in behavior? I've seen plenty about appetite reduction, addictive qualities, but no one speaks about if/how it changes you mentally/day to day behaviors. Can anyone share their experience please?

    • @YourMomsBestBoyfriend
      @YourMomsBestBoyfriend 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

To me, that’s actually the biggest problem there is when it comes to kratom. Don’t get me wrong, there are clear physical side effects, and that can get bad too, but there’s something very twisted with it, the way it affects the mind.
It is so glaring that even at my best when I would go back to it I’d notice it would totally change me to a more agitated person that saw things negatively and couldn’t stop seeing and feeling things in a more negative light. And then it would take enough time away to sort of stabilize myself again back to normal. And that was just from one day of use when I’d already be stable minded and off it for a while. So I became really attuned to my mental state both off and on it. I’m talking about the last periods of my use of it where I’d experiment after longer periods without it and go back and see just how badly it would screw with my mental state even when I wasn’t taking it regularly. I went through many years of varying uses so just to be specific about what I’m talking about here, if you follow lol I hope it’s not written too messy to comprehend.
Of course, when you first begin to stuff it’s a very different dynamic, but it changes drastically over time. I don’t remember feeling the negatives when I first began. It was over a course of twenty years where I was off and on the stuff for varying periods of time.

@@YourMomsBestBoyfriend Thanks for your perspective and time to comment, very helpful. My partner started taking it 3 yrs ago and I've started to notice a shift; more withdrawn or hyper focused on one or two things but definitely not as aware as they used to be. Kind of a veil of separation. Doesn't plan things as in the past, although to them, they think they are way more social and active. Seems to be playing a trick on the mind, because it's busyness without much outcome.
Also, maybe an inability to let negative thoughts go, ruminates for longer.
I've watched several videos, but not many talking about what it's like for the partners or relationship dynamics when ppl are on it Thanks again!
