it's not just lightning. live near high voltage power lines or a huge transformer and you'll experience the same symptoms. electromagnetism affects us even if we don't understand how.
I usually get migraines when storms are brewing... But I always just attributed it to the atmospheric pressure changes... Which is commonly accompanied by lightening. What if its not the lightening causing headaches, but actually the atmospheric pressure changes?
What is Lightning but a large discharge of electrical energy. Maybe it's not the ionic compounds created but the sencing of this charge in electrical potential that causes the migraine? Just a theory
While I can find the study mentioned in several other news outlets, I'm not having any luck finding the original paper itself about lightning causing migraines. Anyone know a link to it? (As a migraine suffer, I'd like to know it this study found out anything else too.)
when i was about two to seaven i had migrain probably eaither once a week or twice a month and it hurt so bad and people should be happy if they don't get migrains because it feels like your brain is pumping and hitting your skull so be happy if you don't get them :/
I think Science is forgetting that we as Human beings also have an electrical charge and produce energy. since that is so, we are effected by our environment and contribute to it in the atmosphere where lightning is waiting to get you. Its all connected yay
