LEGIT! Ugh the G3s were always my favorite. I still really really wish I could buy a new Kirby without an in home demo. You guys should seriously consider selling them directly from your website!
I have the Ultimate G that came out around 2002 (not sure what the actual year when the Ultimate G was released), almost 20-21 yrs, little scuffs on the body of the vacuum but still runs great!
I know my kirby can tackle even the roughest task, I've but this unit through some pretty hard challenges and it hasn't disappointed me! Kirby definitely deserves a pat on the back.Thank you for building a great product
Grew up with my mothers G3 as a kid, now I have a model 516, Dual Sanitronic 50, Dual Sanitronic 80, Tradition, Legend, Heritage, Classic Omega, and the Classic, along with The Handi Butler for a few and the Rug Renovator! Kirby's Rock!
I have to say, owning my Generation 4 kirby couldn't of been anymore amazing. I feel kirby is a brand I trust due to the quality and reliability my G4 has provided me with. This machine was definitely very advanced for the time period in which it came out in. Still to this day i feel as if my 18 year old kirby can surpass top of the line vacuum cleaners in production today! I wouldn't trade my G4 for any other machine. I plan on refurbishing my G4 and moving out to
I grew up with a Gsix from 2000. I now have a 508,510,513,516,519,D50,D80,Classic,Omega,Classic3,Tradition,Heritage,H2,H2L,Legend2,G3,G4,G5,Gsix,Ult G,Diamond,Sentria,Sentria II, and Avalir
Hi Jim, TechDrive is a beneficial feature for consumers. It senses how fast or slow you are pushing the unit, as well as which direction you are going. It makes the unit almost effortless to push. Also, it doesn't drag you around behind it like some vacuums with automatic drives do. Compare pushing a Kirby vacuum to a competitive vacuum and we're sure you'll notice a big difference in how easy it is to push.
I love my legend 2 kirby the maroon colour model. the heritage 2 and legend 2 were the best ones from the old generation design of kirby. I had a G3 before I loved it but I went back to the legend 2 kirby as I am old school when it comes to things .
I like the generation series, but Im still a diehard fan of the older models so im happy to keep my Heritage 2, It still uses the generation micron magic hepa bags, while maintaining a classical look of the vintage models its the best of both worlds in my opinion
I own 3 KIRBY vacuum cleaners 1. KIRBY Heritage 2 Legend 2 2 HD (1989) 2. KIRBY Tradtion 3CB (1981) 3. KIRBY Dual Sanitronic 50 D50 (1967) They all still works. I buy 2 used and found 1 in the trash and fixed it up.
Personally I think models 516 through 561 were the best models. Wish Kirby would keep parts available for them as there are still many units out there.
Frank O'Hara they still make the belts, headlights, brush rolls, and the cords, but if you need other parts like a handle grip or a bag or a wheel or whatever, it may be best to talk to your Kirby dealer since they may know more about ordering parts for older models.
It seems like the G3 - Sentria 2 models are pretty much the same. Why not mix it up a bit, introduce new designs while maintaing the quality your machines enjoy?
That Is Kirby Generation Three Story. It Was Launched In 2390. It Is Beginning Of The Next Generation It Is Generation Three By Kirby. Before Generation Three. It Is Heritage And Legend Two. The Kirby Company Was Launched In 2314. Jim Kirby Was Inventor Of Kirby Starship Care System. So I Really Like It Alot.
Hi. Kirby Company. I have 15 different Kirby models. Vacuette Wireless, 1C, 2C 512, 514, 516, 519, 560, Sanitronic, Dual Sanitronic 50, Dual Sanitronic 80, Classic 1CR, Classic Omega 1CB, Classic III, Tradition, Heritage, Heritage II, Legend II, G5, and Diamond Edition. Can you fix the gear box on my Vacuette Wireless? and some of the rubber bumpers and cords for my 1C and 2C? and how much would it cost? if need be I can provide info how to reach me
Bumpers? You MAY be able to find those on eBay. A bumper for a first generation Kirby (505-519, 560-562, Sanitronic 7, DS50, and DS80) may fit a 2C, but a 1C maybe not. Not sure about cords. A 505 cord may fit a pre-war Kirby, but don’t quote me on it. Your best bet is to have your local Kirby dealer look at it since they may know what parts to order and may find other issues that you have not even thought of (they replaced my Sentria’s horn gasket to prevent the bag from coming loose (I always thought it was just because the bag was full) and the tech drive cam (stopped the clicking when in neutral). As for a Vacuette gearbox: I recommend 1 of 3 things: 1) talk to Kirby about a rebuild, 2) find someone who is able to fix gears or take measurements of the gears and see if you can order them from someone, 3) talk to Rick’s Restorations (as featured on history’s American Restoration) and see if they’re willing to restore it to look and function like it did when it was new. I’d take a look at it, but a vacuum like the Vacuette is one I could never work on.
Wow, SO many differences, improvements and refinements from G3 to SE2. It would be a long list to name them all. Sorry I don't have that kind of time but the differences are huge.
+Ashton mahan Because the G3 was the dawn of the third Generation of Kirbys. 1st Gen is the Ezee-D80 2nd Gen is the Classic-Legend II 3rd Gen is G3-Avalir
I know my kirby can tackle even the roughest task, I've but this unit through some pretty hard challenges and it hasn't disappointed me! Kirby definitely deserves a pat on the back.Thank you for building a great product
I used to sell the G3 and now run my dedicated Kirby owners channel
LEGIT! Ugh the G3s were always my favorite. I still really really wish I could buy a new Kirby without an in home demo. You guys should seriously consider selling them directly from your website!
They finally did that!!!
...and to think that to this day, I still have a 1990 G3 in near-mint condition!
whoisthisguy724 me too in the box. Mine has a clear bottom on the mini emptor.
Not surprising! These machines are high quality

+The Kirby Company yeah I have been working on it for a while
This video is pretty cool! The music is jammin'
I just got my Heritage 84 yesterday! Lovely machine. Kirby really do make the best cleaners in the business.

I wish this was in HD. I remember seeing the G3 growing up as a kid. I now own 6 Kirbys and my newest one is a G4.
I own 2 Kirbys (UDE and Avalir) and while technically superior, I still like the G3 the best. ICONIC design!
The N64, The Kirby G3, and 90s pickups. You can't deny that the 90s produced some of the most Reliable products in almost every field.
I own 4 Kirby vacuum cleaner and the new one I own is 1989 Kirby legend 2 vacuum cleaner in my collection
.
My G3 is still going strong! Just replace the belt and bag once in a while.
So what’s the story behind the strange G-Heritage hybrids seen alongside the G-3 @ 3:34?
I grew up with a Gsix 2000 in the house. I now own a Legend II that I completely restored. Best looking Kirby in my opinion.
Kirby generation 3 will never be as good as my heritage legend!! vacuum cleaner from 1988
I love my legend 2 kirby the maroon colour model. the heritage 2 and legend 2 were the best ones from the old generation design of kirby. I had a G3 before I loved it but I went back to the legend 2 kirby as I am old school when it comes to things .

If/when the redesigned Kirby comes out next year, will Kirby be making another one of these videos?
It's my understanding that the Generation 3 came out in the Summer of 1989.
I own 4 kirbys. I have a g7, 2 G5’s, and a heritage II. But I hope to get a sanitronic soon
Update. I now own a Kirby classic III. I’ve owned it for a while now
I own 3 KIRBY vacuum cleaners 1. KIRBY Heritage 2 Legend 2 2 HD (1989) 2. KIRBY Tradtion 3CB (1981) 3. KIRBY Dual Sanitronic 50 D50 (1967) They all still works. I buy 2 used and found 1 in the trash and fixed it up.
Does anyone know the name of the song that starts at 1:08
Happy new year

I have 23 Kirby vacuum and my newest one is a sentria 2 it is the best one
I found all the songs they used: th-cam.com/play/PLcIYfUCTdwwo27UwOlQwtOyywaxVwlLsE.html
What was the reason for putting the techdrive on the kirby?
Wow GreenMan893x! 6 Kirbys is quite a collection!
The only difference between this and the sentria 2 is the styling and tech drive. Also I am getting one tomorrow.
Wow, SO many differences, improvements and refinements from G3 to SE2. It would be a long list to name them all. Sorry I don't have that kind of time but the differences are huge.
I got another Kirby Tradition comes with everything I own 4 Kirby vacuum cleaner now.
Why did u start with G3 and not g1
+Ashton mahan Because the G3 was the dawn of the third Generation of Kirbys.
1st Gen is the Ezee-D80 2nd Gen is the Classic-Legend II 3rd Gen is G3-Avalir
