Difference between Chandravedan and Alter breath nostril is you take breath in left nostril in Chandravedan and both in the case of Alter nostril breathing.
In chandabhedan, you take breath from left nostril, and in alternate nostril breathing, you take breath first from the right and exhale from the left and then inhale from the left and exhale from the right.
