How to spot fake Ugg boots
The original Ugg boots are of three types, low, medium, high.
The original high Ugg boots cost 230 euros, the fakes have prices between 20 - 100 euros.
The original back label on the Ugg boots must have the following aspects.
- Company logo (carefully inspect any extra material, any mistake, everything must be perfect).
- the label must be made of leather (color may vary depending on the year and model).
- the text Australia should not be present.
The stitches of the original Ugg boot are clean, compared to the fake Ugg stitches which are thicker and with extra material.
The inside of the original Ugg boots must have a label, it must have the serial number, in the left boot we must find a label with a rainbow (company logo).
Outsole differences Ugg boots fake vs real
- at the top we have to find the company logo, for the fake ones this logo is missing.
- the serial number must exist stamped, if this element does not exist then you will face some fake Ugg boots.
- In the middle of the original soles we must find the company logo, compared to the fake one that shows the boot number.
- At the bottom, the original Ugg boots show the embossed text TREADLITE BY UGG, if we can't find this safety element, then you are dealing with some fake Ugg boots. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Now, I disagree with this. The original UGG boots were made in Australia by a guy named Eddie. The USA company Deckers fought him in court and still is over the trademark. Even though Deckers won, that doesn't mean that if the word Australian is on the logo, it's fake. He makes real UGG boots and Deckers UGG boots are made in China. Also the real UGG boots have sheep skin inside.
Deckers is just using the word Australian to sell fake UGGs.

UGG AUSTRALIA ARE THE ORIGINAL UGG BOOT. The other UGG is made by an American company. UGG AUSTRALIA can't be sold in America anymore because Deckers is claiming the name as their boots are called UGGs but not the original UGG made from the original manufacturer in Australia. That's why uggs quality is so bad. Compared to UGGS in the 80's early 90s, these boots feel cheap. I won't buy them anymore.

Many years ago, I remember buying UGG boots that said, UGG Australia on them. They were original because I purchased them from UGG store.

There are actually 2 different Uggs. Ones made in Australia and ones made in China. They are 2 different companies. One is Ugg since 1974 which are made in Australia and Ugg r which are made in China. Personally, I’ll go with the ones made Australia.
Some of the real UGGs actually have UGG Australia. Most UGGs are made in Vietnam and China some are actually made in Australia (it also depends where you bought them). Only the left boot of the real UGGs has the security tag etc the right one just has an ordinary tag with the details on it. The real ones also have a small code on the sole of the show near the front of the sole. You can also tell the fake from the real by the touch/feel of the UGGs (especially the sheepskin) and the real ones are soft inside and do not shed. Also, the boxes are well made and sturdy with UGG details on, etc, and do not come in a plastic bag in the box. Most UGGs (depending on which ones/style you get) are also normally around 1/2 to one size bigger than your normal shoe size. Most people normally go down a size when getting real UGGs. There are a lot of very good fakes (even down to using real sheepskin) out there but real UGGs will last you years and are very well made. I have a few pairs that are about 10 years old (granted those ones only get worn in the colder weather (which TBH is around half the year in the UK Lol) but they still get worn a lot and I also make sure I spray them with a protector every year also (so they are kept in their prime) but they still look fantastic even years later. It's worth paying around £7-£10 (around $10) on protector spray to keep your UGGs looking good, especially after paying all that money for them and a can of protector will do quite a few pairs of UGGs and/or weatherproof other shoes/boots and jackets especially when it's raining. The exterior heel tag doesn't mean it is fake or not

I own a pair UGGs, on the tag it says "UGG australia" but inside "made in China" - are they fake? By the way, they don't have the number and "Treadlite by UGG" on the sole neither. Hmmm...

Actually, both UGGs in the video are terrible. On the left is a fake of a terrible and overpriced UGG boot from Deckers company on the right. Deckers makes a cheaply-made version of the original. UGG is a common word in Australia, signifying the type of boot. 96% of UGGs are made from super cheap materials. Three companies in the world make UGGs. Deckers (headquarters in the USA) - who relocated the plant from China to Vietnam because of the customer's perception. The UGG Australia (located in Australia) is also made in China and produces only small batches of special orders in Australia. And the third one, which happens to be the best, is - UGG Australian Made Since 1974. The materials are much much better, and this makes the first two appear like a fake when you compare.

The fake ones in this video are very cheap looking. They’re probably not even real sheepskin. They were designed to fool people into thinking that they are the Uggs made by Deckers. Even though they say Ugg Australia on them, they are not the Uggs made in Australia that commenters think they are.

Thank s for the vid but the more research you do, the less you understand! Sometimes I believe there is no "fake" at all because it looks like UGG is not really a protected brand. As they produce in so many different countries like Japan, China, Vietnam etc. ...
For example, my UGGs from the US look slightly different as the ones from France, nontheless they are both "real" as they've both been bought in special UGG shops! One other pair I have look a little fake (very cheap online and not as soft and well finshed) but I don't care, I love them all the same!
