How to spot fake Timberland Boots
The boxes are very similar, but the opening of the original box is bigger than the fake one ... see in the video.
Please note that the original boxes may contain fake shoes.
Original Timberland boots cost 200 euros, fake ones cost between 70 and 120 euros.
The logo on the bottom right of the original boot is brown, compared to the fake one, which is black.
The seam of the original boots is white, compared to the fake ones which have a brown color.
The safety element of the boots is the logo on the outer sole, in the original it is brown, compared to the fake one which is white, plus the text on the inner heel (see video) NON MARKING is present, compared to the fake one which does not have this safety feature.
Fake boots bought from Amazon have dark metal side staples, compared to the original ones that have a golden color.
Carefully inspect the seams, they must be clear, neat without extra material, such a big brand will not make such mistakes.
The fake insole has the company logo, compared to the original one which does not have this.
On the inside right, we need to find the serial number of the boots, this safety element must be identical to the serial number on the side label on the box, if this aspect is not fulfilled, you will face a fake.

The variations that are presented here as original characteristics do not appear in all the original boots, they may vary depending on the place where they were manufactured, for example the boots sold in Mexican Timberland stores are manufactured in the Dominican Republic and some of their characteristics are more similar to those shown in this video as characteristics of the false boots. I think that the boots that are presented in this video as fake boots are based on boots made in the Dominican Republic and there are differences because they compare them with those of the original manufacture in another area of the world. If that's the money you're willing to spend on boots a few bucks more wolverines a very pretty damn light and could easily last over a year if Im doing trench work instead of spending 400+ bucks on boots that are going to be destroyed wolverines were perfect for a 1 year throwaway and they could last longer but what's the sense. I mean I hate now boots but they usually break in quickly.

I agree it depends on the country that manufactured the Timberland. I have Timberland made from South Korea. I bought if for 300,000 won or $280.00. It's very different from those 2 Timberland shoes.
These two Boots 👢 would've qualified for fakes if we are to compare them with Timberland of early 2000's era.

The leather on the fake is much worse. Loose fibers that will give out quickly. I wonder how water repellant the fake is? That has been one of Timberlnd boot's main selling points.

I would argue that there is a market for both. If you live in a western country you will really have a tough time even finding fake ones, unless you order from ominous foreign websites, which you shouldn't do in the first place.
In developing countries replicas are an affordable way to stay up to date with international fashion and to not feel excluded from the world!
Many people that buy replicas couldn't afford the original anyway, so there is really not much loss for the fashion corporations. Not to nention that funnily enough originals and replicas might be produced in the very same or at least neighboring production plants. That explains why some replicas are so close to their original.

Ive been working for years in a clothing and can tell you the label is supposed to tell the truth of an item but even the poor label gets manipulated, eg, the merchandise gets inported in bulk from the fake manufacturers (you know from where) for next to nothing, then the poor label gets cut out and replaced by a socalles for real label produced in your country that is probably well known for the real brand🤷♂️and its just very very dificult to catch these con businessmen out.

@@FakeCipunfortunately I only have 1 box, I threw away 2. I bought them from a friend, she says they are original. the stitching around the eyelets for the laces is single like in the originals, from what I compare they look original. the differences I found are that there are single embossments on the soles, in the film in the originals and fake they are double, another difference is the stitching around the shoe is as if flooded like in the fake. the box has no number inside, but the number that is inside the shoe is the same as on the sticker on the box, but apart from that the box seems to be the same as in the originals. And theres no : no marking singh. So I don't know now. One are waterproof, another 6in premium light pink.

But the common mistakes in timber boots is that it doesn't have stitches under makes it pull easily
The shoe is cemented construction. Those stitches that you see are decorative. They don't actually hold the shoe to the sole, like a Goodyear welt.

This comparative video he didn't take the real thing to compare, this two boots are a different sku from Timberland and the one that he call real is a kids boot. One is midsole injected and the real is a cemented sole.
This video has great potential but the flipping of the boots instead of lining both up in the same direction and then the flipping of the boots such that the labels "fake" and "real" get confused/mixed up is very frustrating to watch for those of us trying to determine if a boot is real or fake. Adding captions or arrows could help. This could be a really helpful video.

Esa comparación el ni revisó lo que tenía que hacer para revisarla. Las cajas ambas han sido usadas por timberland, son dos estilos totalmente diferentes y se fabrican con materiales diferentes, una es de niño y la otra de adulto y los colores de suela varían mucho porque si es que los diseñadores las diseñan de acuerdo a la temporada que se fabrican.
