    they cost so much because its real material and they're handmade

      It is because Australian salary is too high. The word "handmade" is abused. Every shoe made in every country is "handmade". They are all crafted by human hands, there is no automated machines to make such low tech products. The difference of the price is only because of the price of the human hands,

    In europe most of the Ugg boots doesnt come from an Australian factory.Just read the inside label.They come or from china or other cheap workforce.I bought a pair and it said made in China,and as you can imagine i dont think they have a good craftman making it one by one like the video.So careful what you buy.

    That sole is such a high quality that it will last forever if you don't wear them

      Nothing lasts forever. And certainly not the outsole. Even if you don't wear it, it's still foam. And foam disintegrates over time.

    What's the difference between UGG and Australian Ugg boots?

    • @sixstarreview6213
      @sixstarreview6213 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Use Google and look up the history. Decker Corporation Trademarked the name and makes their product in China. My opinion, not made in Australia then all others are Fake! I'm from the US and do not support the Decker Corporation on their business tactics.

    • @middle2451
      @middle2451 4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      UGG was originally an Australian sheepskin product made in Australia. The original business was sold to an overseas company who now make their boots in China. There are a few Australian companies that still make a 100% Australian made product using top quality Australian sheepskin and Australian Ugg are one company who handmake ugg in Australia. Top quality vs Chinese mass produced product

    • @shawnsheep5141
      @shawnsheep5141 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sixstarreview6213 But to be frank if you do a comparison, the China made US UGG is of far better quality than the Australia made ones. This is of course due to the lower human cost and definitely mass factories have better systematic quality controls than family owned workshops. Also do not believe in the so called "high quality Australian sheepskin". There is no tannery industry in Australia. Raw animal materials need to be sent to China or Southern Europe to be processed into leather then imported back to Australia to make shoes. As far as I know, many Australia UGG makers are buying their leather from China (the leather may be original from Australia raised sheep).

    • @sixstarreview6213
      @sixstarreview6213 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@shawnsheep5141 wow the internet is not your friend. Countless Australian tanneries and NOT Chinese ones. I’ve had my Australian made UGGS for two years with zero issues. My wife purchased a pair in 2008 and have held up very well. Superior product NOT made in communist China.

    • @shawnsheep5141
      @shawnsheep5141 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sixstarreview6213 1) That is great. I also checked I made mistake here. I never mean the Australian family made ones were not as solid as the US owned UGG "Australia", there were always some excessive glues, treads and color difference between the feet when I pick up a random pair in a shop. 2) By the way, Chinese do not make much money from making the shoes. The US companies ripped off majority of the price. 3) China is China, CCP is CCP. The (majority) factory workers are not CCP members. May I ask if you have opinions against the CCP leadership or an ordinary Chinese working to feed a family?

    1:00 shows a Chinese made machine by (盐城市集英机械制造有限公司)Yancheng City Jiying mechanical manufacturing private limited. 1:40 shows two electrical sockets that is unique to China. Conclusion: the video was likely shot in Yancheng City in Jiansu Province of China.

    • @middle2451
      @middle2451 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Zhang Guiyu Really ? Funny how none of the employees are Chinese, all the factory signs are in English, the power point (electrical point as you call it) shown is Australian standard with the ‘earth’ pin at the bottom not in the top position as in China. With your twisted logic that means if I saw a video of a Chinese person at a Chinese restaurant with a bottle of Australian wine on the table I would immediately state that that picture was taken in Australia.

    • @Nicole-zi2qg
      @Nicole-zi2qg 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The power point is Australian. Maybe the machine was made in China but the shoes aren't.

      Those power points are Australian, not Chinese. If they were Chinese they'd be upside down. The machinery may be from China, most machinery is. My screwdrivers all are.

      Mistah FTM 7956 What ? There were no sheep in Australia before Europeans arrived there. Therefore uggs been made from sheepskin have nothing to do with Aboriginals.

    They are made in china and are crap now. I bought two pairs and the same style (classic short) one pair from Dillards and the other from Macy’s . They look like a slipper material and are not what they use to be. All made in china now. Look at the label when you purchase them. So sad. Even Australia has sold out to China and like America.
