I am sure you saw the scores... The final competition was a festival of high scores: It was insane! Thümmler (GDR) 9,950 Mills (USA) 9,950 Dobre (ROM) 9,962 Polokova (TCH) 9,975 Boginskaja (URS) 9,987 Shoushounova (URS) 10,000 Kersten (GDR) 10,000 Silivas (ROM) 10,000
a really undersved 10 and gold medal, GER was lucky as the president of judges was from est Germany which made her winning gold and GER the bronz on team over Bulgaria and Usa
I think he talks about, that Dagmar Kersten received the perfect 10 on Uneven Bars and still got only the Silver Medal with a total of 19.987. Daniela Silivas became the Olympic Champion with a perfect 20.000
Well deserved silver medal.
Dagmar Kersten was my favorite of the GDR team. She was good on the bars.
She was indeed. I am happy, she got the chance to win a medal at the Olympic Games. It was just sad, that it wasn't the golden one.
Daniel Slivias was far better and considering that the uneven bars have been the weakest apparatus for the Romanians, Slivias had incredible talent.
A ten? That was a noticeable hop there at the end !

She won silver, not gold!
