My Mexican wife said “no way, tacos & pasta!” But I made this recipe anyway…and she just went for seconds!! Thank you for a fun & tasty dish that we will make again & again!
😅. Tell her to say she's sorry🤣
My Mexican husband loved this so much that he doesn't want me to make Italian spaghetti anymore! I added a bit more spices, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, and two pkgs of taco seasoning, and he devoured it. This was super easy to make, and a big hit!
Hahaha, that's great! I'm glad the both of you enjoyed it. Yes you can spice it up to fit your taste.
@@landon0823 Could you please explain your comment?

Ms. Espinoza, I am a novice cook so asking for guidance please? How many teaspoons of onion powder, garlic powder, cumin and other spices did you add in addition please? With thanks!
@@DC-vw7yf As we get older, (like me!) we need a bit more spices because our taste buds have diminished. Start off with about 1/2 TBSP onion powder, 1/2 TBSP garlic powder, and 1 tsp cumin, then taste to see if you want to increase. I hope you enjoy!
Listen. When I tell you that this was a hit... 😳
You had four generations over here full as ticks! 🤣 Mama, me, my daughter, and the granddaughter. My grandnephew, who is a very picky eater, made a plate to take home. The only change I made was ground turkey in place of the ground beef. This is definitely going in the rotation!

Cheese tip. The reason fresh grated cheese melts better is because shredded cheese is coated in starch to prevent sticking. If you only have shredded and want a better melt rinse the shredded cheese in cool water and it will melt just like fresh grated
WOWWWWW. OK, I made this on a Friday and had it for dinner. I then put it in containers and proceeded to eat it for either lunch or dinner for 6 days straight. (It’s now Wednesday and I’m eating my last serving) It tasted better every time and I ended up actually looking forward to eating leftovers!! I can’t recommend this recipe enough. Thank youuuuu
Wow, eating a meal 6 days later says it all. Nothing for me to add, but thanks for the feedback 🙏🏾😋

Both components (taco meat and spaghetti) proof well, so it makes sense that this dish would proof well also. Might be even better with fresh chilis in it.

4:40 it’s because the starch they used to keep the cheese from clumping also absorbs oil and moisture. Fat equals flavor as they say. So you aren’t wrong. The starch creates a film that effective dries the cheese out faster.
So my husband stumbled across this thumbnail and watched it then asked me to make it.He NEVER watches cooking videos but he thought it looked so good.So I made it tonight and he was scraping the pan clean! I did add a taco bell seasoning packet lots more cheese and a splash of milk to make it a little more creamy. But it was a successful family dinner! Thanks for the idea😁
That is awesome! Thanks for sharing this feedback 🙏🏾.
That looks amazing. I would add some sour cream with the taco sauce too 😋

Loved it. Thanks. Reminds me of I Carly when they made spaghetti tacos. They put the pasta into crunchy taco shells. What I did was crushed up tortilla chips on top and topped with salsa and sour cream. Delish!
That sounds good too😋😁
I actually had the spaghetti tacos and they were good.
My son had me to make the iCarly version and they were a hit
Been making this recipe for a different spin on Taco Tuesdays since I first stumbled upon the thumbnail months ago and my family LOVES IT!! Making it tonight for Taco Tuesday.. I add Trader Joe’s taco seasoning, garlic, onion and cumin powder for the extra flavor boost 😋❤❤❤❤
That sounds good! Glad you and family enjoy it.🙏🏾
Making this today for my Neighbor who is disabled.

You are a wonderful human being. ❤❤❤
SO good! I decided to use Rotel tomatoes (saw them first when I looked in the pantry) and they added a little kick. Had avacado, taco sauce, salsa, sour cream, extra cheese and tortilla chips set out so folks could suit themselves. What little bit that was left tasted even better the next day. Definitely will make again.
Thanks Wanda, for the feedback. I really appreciate it. Glad everyone enjoyed it.
I made this a few weeks ago and it was so good ! Tonight I'm making a double batch and a little Tex-Mex to it with a can of black beans, black olives and some peppers.

Also, some sour cream and guacamole on the side...lol
Saw this yesterday and today my wife made it for us. It is truly delicious.

Agreed! Sour cream, corn chips, additional fresh salsa. I like to add small avocado slices to garnish tacos so they might work here as a garnish, also!
All that works on this dish.

This was a great dish! Coming from someone who doesn’t care for neither spaghetti or taco’s. I had to call a few people to tell them about my new found love for spaghetti. Anaheim chilies would be really good.
Correct, there are so many things you can do with this one. Thank you for watching 😋🙏🏾
I like to add a few tablespoons of salsa to it as it cooks, then top it with a little as well. So good.
Great suggestion 👍🏼
I was sitting here wondering what to make with this gr beef and hey this video came into my feed! I didn't have the canned diced tomatoes with peppers but I had 1/2 can of crushed tomatoes and some cherry tomatoes I had to use up and added a diced jalapeno, didn't have taco seasoning because I don't use packaged taco seasoning (I'm Mexican and I just make my own flavors when I cook) but I wanted that taco seasoning flavor so I googled a recipe for that. I had to add water to cover my spaghetti noodles and since I didn't have cilantro or parsley I used a green onion. It is delicious 😋 and just want to thank you for sharing this. I'm a new sub so best wishes for 2023!!
Welcome to the channel. I hope you enjoy the content. You made some great revisions.

Awesome, thank you for this feedback. I definitely have more one pot recipes.
I think Rotel might make an excellent substitution.
I used salsa also and jalapeños ~ OMG delicious 😋
This is very good. I used a quart of home canned tomatoes and 16 ounces of home canned salsa. I used a whole pound of spaghetti so I added beef broth too.

Tacos 🌮 and spaghetti 🍝 together got my attention!! Love ❤️ both and combined the 2 is great, also, just one skillet meal 🥘. Let’s eat!!

I like the end when yoy said you arent a chef you just cook a lot. I see too many cooks claiming to be chefs. Ive worked in kitchens for 15 years and managed teams of kitchen staff and despite ehat they call me i dont consider myself a chef. The title is prestigious and too many people throw it around. With thqt said i appreciate the humble honesty.
I agree it's a lot that comes with being a chef. Just because your food is good doesn't mean you are a chef. Just because you can dribble a ball and make 3 pointer doesn't make you a basketball player. However, both are the foundation of said profession. So yes the food is the main component, but there are other attributes one must embody to be considered a chef.

This looks soooo good! I’m absolutely gonna give this a go! Quick, easy, and yummy….just gotta love fifteen minute dinners. How about just a smidge of chili powder?
Thank you. Of course you can add add chili powder. Theoretically, the Taco Seasoning has chili powder in it but adding more doesn't hurt at all.
You could pay much replace the taco seasoning with chili powder, and then add a little extra cumin, coriander, or any other spice you like. That would save you the added salt and preservatives that are normally in store-bought taco seasonings. 😀

OK, I made this as instructed and wondering how ANYONE can eat a SINGLE plate of this! Truthfully I ate THREE (3) plates of it and enjoyed EVERY single bite! I will definitely be making this again...and again...and again!!!!
BTW, here is the written recipe...Brown ground beef at medium heat in large deep-sided frying pan. Toss in onions, garlic and light salt. Cook until brown. Remove from heat. Drain oil. Turn heat back on and add tomatoes, Taco Seasoning and two cups of beef broth. Mix well and add dry spaghetti and slightly submerge with added water, if necessary. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to low. Cook for 12-15 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove cover and continue cooking to allow more of the liquid to evaporate (2-3 minutes).
Turn off the heat, stir and add cheese on top. Cover and let cheese melt for a couple of minutes.* Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve.
*NOTE: Consider putting the cheese on top and place under the oven broiler for a minute of two (don’t burn it). Then top with cilantro when serving. Place some Ortega Taco Sauce on the side as an added embellishment for that extra kick. Yummmm….
Lol...thanks for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed and and sharing your recommendations.

Yep, that levels it up 😋
This was an excellent dish! I was very unsure at first when I saw the title, but I loved the video and tried it the same night. Came out great! Thanks for the video. Will absolutely make again.
Awesome, thank you sooo much for trying this and the feedback. Glad you enjoyed it.

Wow! I've made something like this for years with large elbow mac or shells...never thought of using spaghetti! Going to have to give this a go...looks awesome, and would be quicker than the other pastas!
Yessir, please do. Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
I just made this a couple days ago! It was absolutely amazing, I am going to go through "All Wings Everything" videos and make many more of his recipes. Also, the smell that this meal produces is extremely pleasant.
Thanks bro, I appreciate this feedback 💪🏽
Ground Turkey or Ground Lamb is also a good option and Tomatoe Boulion as a good substitute for the beef Boulion if you want to lower your sodium, in edition to the remaining ingred.
Hey bro, this was a massive hit with the family. Like bigtime!
Thanks for the simple and delicious recipe 🍻 💪🏽

Yes it does.😋
I can’t wait to try this. I’m so happy to find your channel. The dishes you’re making work very well with the types of foods and flavors my family likes to eat. Thanks so much.
You're Welcome!!
Do you want to make this even better? Here's something that I notice a lot. They say brown the ground beef, but what they really do is just cook it. I would do this, do not add the onion or garlic in when you cook the ground beef. Cook the ground beef until you start to get dark browning on some of the pieces. This is called the Maillard reaction. This happens when the sugars and amino acids in the meats or other medium start to react creating a more intense flavor. So cook the ground beef until you get a lot of darkened edges but make sure not to burn it. Take the ground beef out and drain the fat but reserve enough to coat the bottom of the pan. Then sauté your onions and right at the end add the garlic so you don't burn it. Then continue with the recipe as he instructs. If you try it his way first, then try it this way with the Maillard reactions there will be a depth of flavor difference. I'm not saying what he's making isn't good, I'm just saying that doing it with the reaction will make the flavors pop even more. Enjoy and great recipe :)
Edit: Any recipe that called for ground beef, ground sausage, ground lamb etc. etc. will benefit from this process. This is also what happens when you slowly sauté onions and they turn that deep golden brown. My mouth is starting to drool just thinking about it lol.
