@@SkandiTV They're very great but sorry, nothing beats Voltaic Black Knight. Ironic, but Abyssal Time is Cavaliere's theme as well in a way. Huh, to think about it he has 3 themes then, the third one is Faded Tone "C". Cavaliere Angelo is truly the best boss in the game lol.
I am pretty sure this is an arrange from a DMC 1 track. I know this original guitar riff rhythm from past . And DMC 1 and 2 are 2 soundtracks i have listen nonstop since ever...
Why is the beginning of this track so similar to the beginning of Rules of Nature from MGRR, I just accidentally noticed this because I lsitened to them back to back.
I wonder why they gave one of the best tracks in the game to V. This could have been a good track for a Dante Boss battle. The part at 0:52 is beautiful.
I thought the theme for when you're fighting Griffon, Nightmare, and Shadow had an OG Devil May Cry feel to it. Sure it still has wubz, but it has dat hard rock mixed with electronic vibe to it. 😄
It's honestly a shame that such a fantastic track was used for a fight (and character's moveset) so lacking in complexity that few will ever go out of their way to play it again. One of my favorite tracks, regardless. My first playthrough of that mission was cemented in my mind due to it.
@@8Kazuja8 Agreed. I always thought it would've been cool if, after you finish your first playthrough, V's moveset had the option of getting a balance change to allow for more active, riskier (and fun) play. It could be something as simple as tweaking damage values so that Griffin and Shadow do slightly less damage so that V's cane does more damage (and also build up DT, and perhaps have a 3-hit combo that knocks enemies back like Dante's base combo). Just like that, V could potentially be fun to play and you could be managing it all at once. I mean, they went through the trouble of changing Nero's gameplay through new game +, so why not? It only really strikes me because of how easy it would have been to implement, and they didn't do it.
V was cool to play on my first playthrough on Devil Hunter difficulty. But he honestly sucks on higher ones, and on Bloody Palace he's even more of a pain to play (still the only character I haven't managed to finish). On bosses like King Cerberus there's nothing you can really do besides spamming Nightmare and running around reviving the pets. You can clearly see he doesn't fit the DMC gameplay, which is a shame because I really like the idea of his mechanics. Maybe we'll have a DMC6 with a better puppeteer.
@@joaolima9622 I know exactly what you're talking about regarding Bloody Palace. It *sucked* with V, as there were some stages towards the end where you're forced to play as lame as possible, seeing as he has no health regen. I naturally like taking risks, but it runs counter to his intended playstyle. I recall locking on and just constantly side-dodge spamming at times while charging Griffin and Shadow repeatedly to cheese the floors. Gameplay that encourges *unstylish* play in order to succeed in that context can't be called anything but a failure. I don't want to risk a single mistake making me repeat an hour and a half of lame gameplay just to get to that point again. On that note, Vergil was unbelievably easy, and I was taking risks constantly and being rewarded for it (since I already knew Vergil's moveset in-depth). Really highlights V's flaws on some of those later floors.
@@Poet482 I think it's almost impossible to beat the BP without spamming the Shadow dodge. At least I can't see another way of defeating those 3 Furies or dealing with King Cerberus, and I don't even want to imagine how it is fighting Vergil with him. But yeah, Vergil was overall quite easy on it. Same with Dante if you use Faust.
It might also be psychological as well, things like swords and guns are immediately attractive to people. Never mind that Dante is the protagonist, they see a character that doesn’t have any of that and they just want to breeds through it.
Maybe it's because there are parts we can't cancel and the enemy is practically invincible so it wastes too much time? Like when the horse turns on its time power for that dodging section we have to wait almost a minute while it poses there. Also there are sections where you can't actually attack (even Nightmare misses) because the horse is too fast.
If they used the same moveset they had in the geryon boss fight alone, half the people would have dropped the game right then and there. V is too weak for this kind of battle.
@@jordansimeonov1501 I suggest you keep your cool and hit checkpoints so you can learn about the bosses. That way, you can have an easier time battling them and ultimately having a stylish time. :D
