    These custom hitboxes feel amazing and I can’t wait to try them out. This form of gaming is new to me so it should be fun. I already know these hitboxes are awesome and well loved just by reading the reviews on their AliExpress store. They have LEDs, hotswappable keys, allow you to add your own game art. Super customizable and compact. The buttons are so satisfying to press. I can’t wait to try them out in game.
    Works with PS3/PS4/PS5/PC/Switch
    *A MayFlash Magicboot v1.1 or Brook Fight Stick Converter is needed for PS5
    Check them out and read the reviews:

    I got the Haute 42 T13 recently, and It is a very smooth and clean looking Hitbox. The buttons feel amazing and it is a bit bigger than the one in this video. The USB-C connector on top is to connect it with USB to a PC or Nintendo Switch (Or any device with a USB port) but for PS5 it is recmomended in the manual to use the USB port on the right side because it disconnects the controller after 8 minutes. (Have not tested this yet). IF you ever decide to go leverless controller, try a Haute, they are amazingly priced and very comfy to learn to play with.

      G12's, 13's and 16's are still sub $40 on Aliexpress. Just got my G16 for $36 + shipping. Scalpers are already reselling G13's for close to $100.

    • @OGTechNick
      @OGTechNick  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @similaritiesendhere its crazy how cheap they are selling them on AliExpress. They seem like a really reliable company and stand out above so many other sellers and manufacturers I’ve been communicating with. They are serious about what they do and it shows.

      @@OGTechNick This recent slew of thin, plexiglass, leverless controllers are all built out of the same components from the same Chinese factories (pcb's and switches).
      I'm not shocked that Haute42 can undercut their competitors because even the original Hitbox had no business retailing for more than a pro stick when 4 buttons cost less than a lever.

    • @OGTechNick
      @OGTechNick  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That makes sense. I’ve never owned a hitbox or leverless controller prior to these, or even a competitive level fight stick, but I always thought they seemed kinda pricey for what they are.

      @@OGTechNick When they started using keyboard switches, the entire FGC should've asked why these things were being sold for 2-3 times as much as decent gaming keyboards.

    This is my first ever leverless and so far I’m loving it. This is only my third day using it but I’m having an issue “Korean backdashing” on Tekken 8, this is also the he only game as of now I plan to use this on. When I am trying to do this back dash on 1p side if I flick my fingers across the buttons they pop off. Don’t get me wrong the caps are on pretty tight but since they are raised if hitting the caps fast on the edge they do just pop right off. If anyone has any ideas as to how I can keep them in place that would be amazing.

    Aren't the buttons sticking out too much? The buttons seem close together, that's good. But sometime you want do a half circle by moving one finger from left to right or the other way over the directional button is that possible when the buttons are sticking out like this?

    • @OGTechNick
      @OGTechNick  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I think they appear to stick out much further than they actually do. There is an illusion of depth. It looks cool and works great. I'm not even close to an expert on fight sticks or hitboxes, but check out some of their reviews. They're able to be modded, and people generally seem to love them.

      I was never a keyboard gamer and started off using the lower button on the G12 & G13 so I can’t say for sure. I see what you’re saying, based on placement, so I hope somebody with a little more experience here can answer this.

    How does the G compare to the S series? Having trouble deciding.

    • @pearlcarneiro5432
      @pearlcarneiro5432 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The S series is about the same, except it uses low profile switches, so you end up with fewer options for what switches you want to use, but you get a thinner unit. The G series is a little bit thicker, but it uses full-size mechanical switches so you have more options for switching the switches out if you want.

    • @OGTechNick
      @OGTechNick  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’m almost positive it does but it might take an extra step I’m not aware of. There might be a firmware update required since they now have newer models like the G16 available. I did learn that the number corresponds to the amount of buttons, and that extra button up top is for those who prefer a WASD layout. Since I don’t have a PS5 and am not 100% so I just sent a message to the manufacturers and am waiting on a response. I will reply back as soon as I have an answer.
