In Memory of John Belushi, Cab Calloway, John Candy, Carrie Fisher, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Ray Charles, Kathleen Freeman, Charles Napier, Henry Gibson, and Donald Duck Dunn.
So many great late legends from this movie like James Brown, Cab Calloway, John Candy, Ray Charles, Carrie Fisher, John Belushi, and most recently Aretha Franklin (RIP) One of the best movies with a great epic ending!!!
I think this is the biggest 'credits scene song' of all time. This cast was legendary. Sadly most of them gone. Especially that little line of Aretha always brings me to tears, and I say this as a grown man.
When I was infatuated with this movie as a child I was aware that how it fantastic it was yet I hadn't realized how there would never be a movie like it ever again. One in a lifetime production!
Michael Stevens - of course it was one unforgettable time reflecting comedy from Second City, and what a scream in’ time. Hey, who blossomed out of Second City? Peace
Increíble! 44 años tiene esta pelicula, la vi cuando tenía 14 años y la he vuelto a ver muchas veces y no me canso. Que cantidad de artistas impresionantes juntos en este filme. ❤❤❤
The first music lessons my sons learned were time signatures. I used Cajun zydeco when they were still strapped into car seats. The drive to town was long. I danced with them in my arms. When they were very young, I exposed them to great music. They saw this movie when they were small, and it made a tremendous impression on them! When my oldest was 11, his class took a trip to Universal Studios in Orlando. The look on his face when the cop at with the loudspeaker on the roof drove down the road was something I will never forget. ❤ My kids are musically gifted. I’m proud to say that this movie helped me teach them the language of music. A decade later, my youngest spotted Cab Calloway in a Billy Joel video. ❤️
It's an almost 2 and half hours long movie, and everytime I arrive at this scene I feel like if I just started watching it, and then I feel it's too short. Why? Because there's no part in this movie that's not a masterpiece. The time is fast as much as you enjoy it, so it's inevitable to feel like this at the end of this movie.

Aretha brought me here. Man so many legends in this film who are gone now! Ray Charles, James Brown, Aretha, John Belushi, Cab Calloway, Guitar Murphy. Greatness!!!
Uma dos melhores agrupamentos de músicos da história da músca! The Blues Brothers podem fazer qualquer música, Jazz, Rock, Rythm'n and Blues com uma qualidade absurda!
John Belushi at his best performance ever in a musical comedy movie. Even Dan Aykroyd , James Brown and Aretha Franklin shine in the movie. Kudos to all the cast.
My dad and I watched this for my birthday back when I was only knee high now 27 fucking brilliant awsome and worthy best song on soundtracks all the way to new years 2020

Everyone is mentioning all the great legends in this movie. Too many to name but everyone here sure as hell got it done! Here's my mention that I haven't seen yet though...The very first prisoner to get up and start dancing...the great Joe Walsh!
Forget “once in a lifetime” or “once in a generation.”
This is a once in a *civilization* kind of film.
This movie is like a time capsule
Absolutely correct
100% agree
Very true the best movie ever
Yup
I love how they included a shot of all the crew. Really nice to see them get recognition for the movie.
Well, John Landis always thinks outta the box
@@AA-sn9lz yes
The great movies always have an ending credits montage of all the main actors in the film.
@@jonathand.9555 That's still only the Cast. It's a huge Difference to recognize the Crew which is done in almost no Movie.
@Random man Have you seen the light? Did Mr. Brown help you find it?
This is such a tearjerker. Most of these legends in both music and comedy have passed on...the Queen of Soul has now joined them.
Princess Leia has now joined Obi-Wan Kenobi - her only hope.
Don’t worry man
Their spirit lives on through people like us. People who are passionate about this music
I bet people will be enjoying this movie (and the music!) a *long* time after I've ceased to exist.

I don’t think this film would’ve been possible without John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd and wanting to share their love of old Chicago blues music❤
This is the perfect ending for a perfect movie
I agree, the band had to go to jail with them but at least they got the band back together, and they rocked it out.
Can I get a witness? Yeah!!😍

How about the nun? Kathleen Freeman?

And some of the best car chases and smashes, without a doubt my favourite movie of all time.

I don't doubt that in the slightest. 😁
