@@adamruch4607 @Junkhead817 Fyi Scott was sober here. He was sober from around late 1999 & after his release from jail. Then throughout their extensive touring from 2000 - to sometime in late 2002. STP has said that time period was awesome & they probably played their best shows. (Including this show, while it was about 100°, Bizzare Fest, Live at the House of Blues, etc.) Scott was on fire. He just got skinny af from the rigorous touring, along w/some healthy "zen" type yoga & eating plan he was trying.

The world losing Scott breaks my heart. He was troubled yet so talented. I adored him, still do. He talks about some of his troubles with Howard Stern in a youtube video interview, things from his book, which I am buying. RIP Scott. I've listened to Interstate Love Song every day for many months, sometimes several times a day, I just can never get sick of it. Now it needs to be treasured with him gone.

I was there. Great show. I remember it being as hot as piss, about 90 and humid as shit. Those where the good ole days. I went to the first three Rolling Rock town fairs. Fun times
Max Cady I forgot to add that the heat index was 97 and the dew point was 72. Visibility was 3.1 miles and the mean wind speed was 4.85 mph. Precipitation 0.0. I remember very well that my handy pocket barometric pressure gauge was holding a steady 30.97 for most of the day.

I was at this show. A week later, they played this video on Comcast Pay perview. I recorded it, however, the first viewing started half way through. So my recording essentially went half into the concert and then started at the beginning. Long story short, not only was it a shoddy recording due to circumstances, but I recently wanted to show my boy the tape and I realized that I threw it out with the old VCR , on accident. It was in there because it was the only video tape I played anymore!

Love STP so much reminds me of growing up and high school! Their music is amazing and timeless! I got back stage @ River Rave in 98' and met Scott! I also got to stand on the side of the stage while they played, it was amazing to be on stage with them as they rocked! I just wish it didn't start pouring out or I would have had more time with Scott after the show..... Anyway I will cherish that memory! All the music greats are gone from the 90's now! Interesting that Robert DeLeo's vocal ( backing harmony ) " as I feel the dawn fades to grey" in the original song and clips inc. unplugged is done once - in later years I'm half the man I used to be has repetitious... fade to grey ... it actually suits this song. People underestimate the musicianship that came out of a lot of the grunge bands. The chord changes in Vasoline are beyond the grunge image.....dope
I watched/listened to STP from their beginning, & it still shocks me to see the almost overnight, dramatic changes in Scott at this point in the late 90s or so. I remember Scott going into rehab again at one point, kinda out of the blue bc STP was about to go on a big tour & had to postpone/cancel, then the next time I saw STP after that, this was the ‘Scott.’ I immediately asked who the hell this was & where the hell the REAL Scott was. I still wonder. And I question why more fans do not, particularly considering who/what the ‘entertainment biz’ is owned/operated by & considering the lyrics to most of his songs, some in which he practically connected the dots for the listener- IF they want to hear/see it. Evidently most do not.

I was there....It was the last song of the last band of the day...mesmerized, stoned, relaxed, all that...Staind, Incubus, etc. were there but STP can put you in the best mood...I remember that show like it was yesterday, a great day with great friends and great music I'll cherish forever...there is nothing better than being there with the music...
